For me, partially due to the fact it was also part of my childhood, the F2004 is Scuderia Ferrari's best-looking car. Perfect shape, perfect shade of red, and I do have to admit that the Vodafone and AMD logos fit pretty well on the livery.
For RB’s best iteration of the current livery was the 2021 RB16B especially with the Red Bull wordmark on the wings and Honda badging it was, perfect. I wouldn’t have been disappointed if RB didn’t change the livery for 2022. I can agree with Jaguar and tbh I am not a huge fan of Stewart’s liveries Mercedes, I have to agree with the 2020 W11 although I feel like the 2019 W10 should also get a mention as well, Brawn is definitely very good while regarding BAR/Honda I have to agree on either the 2004 005 or 2005 006, Tyrrell is a team I don’t have much on unfortunately so I don’t know which is my fav For Ferrari it has be the 1976-77 312 T2 or more recently either the 2017 SF70H or the 2019 SF90, the early 90s models looked good as well. By the way I most definitely agree with your Toro Rosso pick. All of the the 2017 cars are BEAUTIFUL I wish they kept those huge shark fins around for longer! They were unique due to only being around for one season and then the halo coming in the season after, I just loved how speedy and sleek they looked, but I do like them with the halo too! It makes them look like spaceships.
Buzzin Hornets Jordans from 1997 to 2001 and orange arrows from 2000 to 2002 were great and as a lover of multi and bright coloured car variety throughout the grid for easy identification of who's who's which is harder to tell nowdays as they look similar . but I would say year 2000 is great for every team having different main colours . Bogey green Minardi was good too
But the Mclaren Vodafone 😢 you forgot it! Also my unasked for unpopular opinion: the 2008 regulation cars with a billion aero devices were good looking. I just wish they used slicks. There's a video with Alonso reunited with the 2005 Renault and they used pirelli slicks on it and it looked great
I just discovered this channel of yours, and I gotta be honest, it's bizzare hearing your voice talking about anything other than completely insane Dragon Ball what-ifs
i’d say the best Merc was the 2019 one. it was just so beautiful with that neon glow on the turquoise stipe. loved it. wish the W11 kept the neon stripe instead of being 2D
Red Bull/Jag/Stewart - agree fully with your choices Mercedes/Brawn/BAR/Tyrrell - Yeah I can go with those. The 1994 Nokia Tyrrell was very smart looking Ferrari - In the modern era, 2016 with the white airbox was gorgeous. Also, 2007/2008 where they went back to a deeper cherry red. Do love that 641 though Alpine/Renault/Lotus/Bennetton/Toleman - Unpopular Opinion but the 1995 Benetton was better looking than the 1994. Their 2020 Design was very nice too Mclaren - 2006 - 2008 for me. about the time where the white in their Livrey was replaced with chrome Alfa Tauri/Torro Rosso/Minardi - Agree, they've always been something of a hodge podge of sponsors. But I guess it's the PS01 with the mostly black. Aston Martin/Jordan/Midland/Spyker /Force India- The Spyker F8 with the White, red and gold was amazing. THe 2023 Aston martin Is their most refined and a throwback to Lotus in the 60's of all teams Williams - The camel one from 1993, the rothmans Livrey and the 2013 return to renault livrey which was a nod to that. Their Martini design of all white was great. I still struggle to accept the red cars from 98/99. HAAS - Agree with your choice Alfa Romeo/Sauber/BMW - The 2023 is the best looking Alfa. Sauberwise, The C22 from 2002. BMW, I'd go with 2008 but they were all really samey Honerable mention: Arrows - 1997 Design and the all black 1998 car, and the Gitanes era of Ligier
Best F1 liveries Hoo boy, now that’s a long one. Well let’s go then. My favorite Red Bull livery is the same as yours. (My only complaint is that it hails from the era where the noses were… y’know…). For the Jaguar, i like the 2002 version, mainly because it’s the one I remember most. Stewart is the 1999 one. Because I was born on their last year in F1, so yeah. As for the Mercedes, I like the 2019 version best. I understand the black liveries are a work of art, but I’m more fond of the silver ones. Brawn is just a one way ticket so moving on to BAR, I feel like the 2005 one driven by Jenson Button is the best one. As for Tyrell, no comment. Too young. My favorite Ferrari livery, and by default my most favorite livery ever, is the 1996 one (low nose). To me, that one is just perfect. Mclaren’s best livery era, to me, is the West era. And my favorite one is the 2002 version. Although the one you mentioned is the favorite of my late friend, so that one is also good for me. There is no discussion: The Alpine 2021 is the best Alpine. (Damn you BWT for ruining a great design! ‘Waving Fist’). For the Benneton, I like the 1988 design, mainly because of the many colors. I feel it’s great. The Senna Toleman of 1984 is the best Toleman (totally not biased). The Senna Lotus of 1985 is the best Lotus (totally not biased). Now, say what you will about this, but the best Renault livery for me is the 2008 livery. Why? Because I’m a sucker for that season, regardless of Crashgate and… ‘sigh’ the “is that Glock?!” Gp. (I was 9 back then. And I cried. A lot.) The best Alfa Romeo is the 2022 one. No questions asked. I agree with your Sauber choice. And the BMW of 2008 is the best for me. This year’s Aston Martin is the best looking thus far. (Go Alonso!) The Racing Point of 2020 is also my favorite (Go Checo!) and I agree with you in the Force India. Although I will disagree with you and say the Jordan of 1999 is the best Jordan. I’ll say that this year’s Haas (2023) is the best Haas in my opinion. The Alpha Tauri of 2023 is also my favorite. The Toro Rosso of 2008 is, obviously, my favorite as well, and I have 0 opinion on the Minardi. Lastly, my favorite Williams is the 2003 one because nostalgia. There, all done! Happy Easter to you, Masako!
When it comes to the McLarens, I have a favourite or two for each sponsorship era, I can't really pick one: Marlboro: MP4/8 and MP4/10 West: MP4/13 and MP4-20 Vodafone: MP4-22 and MP4-27, though shoutout to the MP4-21, which was basically Vodafone without Vodafone. 2nd Ron Dennis era (2014-'16): MP4-31; actually a smart looking car, if sparse on sponsors. Current Papaya era (2018-present): MCL34, no contest, none of the papaya cars since have come close. Well, 2020 and 2021 were nice, 2022 and 2023 on the other hand, I'm not a big fan of the lighter Gulf-inspired blue. The bare carbon I actually don't mind as much, stripping off the paint in 2022 actually improved the livery in my eyes compared to how it was at the car's launch! But I do feel that McLaren's current livery works far better on its Indycars and Formula E cars than their F1 cars. One of my absolute favourite McLarens though is actually the MCL32 from 2017! Rubbish car, and a Marmite livery but I love it! I put it separate from the other Papaya cars because while it was orange, it wasn't papaya. I'm a sucker for red and white Ferraris, particularly the Schumacher Ferraris, but my favourites are honestly the SF-16H and the F93A. Agree on most of the others; the RB12 is still the best Red Bull, all the others since have been slightly put down in my opinion by the large red numbers. I think the W08 is the best silver Mercedes. I'd probably swap the R24 for the R25 and maybe put Minardi's 1997 livery alongside their 2000 livery. The Force Indias were always good, I particularly liked their 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 liveries.
The McLarens haven't looked BAD for decades; just their Marlboro days toward 1995 and 96 weren't their best and it clearly needed a facelift. But thanks for sharing your thoughts, Dominic!
My favorites are those with tobacco company colours. Like the yellow Benson&Hedges Jordans or the Rothmanns (which also look good on several Porsche race cars) Williams. Also the 7up Jordans are very high on my list.
It's a reupload if I remember. The best livery story came from mercedes when they got rid of all the paint on their car to reduce weight back in the days.
I reckon the 1994 sauber should be here. The black, white and red polka dot design they had was clean and could be collabed with an artist quite easily. I wonder if they throw it back for 30 years of sauber in 2024.
Disagreements: The best Red Bull livery is either the rb10 or rb11 livery. The current one that hasn't changed in 8 years is fine as is, but it got a little old and oversaturated The best Mercedes livery is either the 2024 or 2020 one, i think the 2024 is a little different, with both black and silver being quite prominent There are few Ferrari liveries that actually stood out, most being just red with some sponsors, the 2024 liveries were quite unique, though. The early 2024 one was amazing, the HP sponsored one... not so much. But i think the best Ferrari liveries are the 2010 and 2011 ones, tied I think the best McLaren livery is the early 2015 one, with some red stripes on the nose and that silver and black meshing so well together. The car didn't perform greatly, but the livery was incredible The blue Toleman livery wasn't really that good to me, the white, blue and red one that was used in the tg184 is the best looking. Perfect balance of colors and that big, white "Candy" written on the side pods made it really stick into my mind for some time The best modern Renault livery is the R.S.16 one, but the best classic Renault livery is the R26 one The best modern Lotus livery is... literally every livery except for the one used in the E21 and E22 Although i do recognize it isn't the most popular take, the 2021 Alfa Romeo livery is the best to me, the bigger appearance of white made the red look less tacked on and more like a subtle detail referencing the brand The AMR21 looks better, but this time it's more of a personal preference, i know it looked weird to most people The red that HAAS used in the nosecone in their early days was never my cup of tea, i much prefer the black one from 2020, coupled with the white, the red HAAS logo and stripes on the front wing, and that very subtle pattern in black as well, seen in the (what's it called?) thing that was formerly the sharkfin in 2017. But the best one is the 2021 livery, the way it plays with the estabilished white and red to form a russian flag throughout the car makes it look amazing Alpha Tauri's 2021 livery could be so much better, the white wheels and the more prominent dark blue could make for a very interesting and unique design, but the way in wich they used that color combination made the dark blue too little too much. The 2020 livery is the best one, looking just as fashion-ish as the 2021 livery, but with better usage of the colors Williams Martini. No more words needed
@@LawVS To prove that advertising on F1 cars doesn't work: I was a smoker back then, and I switched to JPS cigarettes because of how cool I thought that car looked. Ooops, I guess it did work for me.
7:09 Bzzt WRONG - The faux John Player Lotus is derivative nostalgia-baiting. The best and most iconic Lotus livery was the green and yellow one from the early 60s or at the very least an *actual* John Player Special from the 70s/80s.
That's understandable, but in terms of the team's short revival, it was a good one. If Lotus were still around now, they would most likely move back to their green and yellow roots.
what about the Yardley liveries on BRM then McLaren from the early 1970, the Gold Leaf Lotus, and the White and Red Hondas from the 1960's, and the Wersteiner-Arrows from 1979/1980 ?
Meanwhile Indycar sustains 340kmh a full lap in Indianapolis. Up to 370kmh going into turn 1 and 3. Only real impressive thing I see here is the braking power.
Great vid, big man. I would suggest to take a look and give your opinion on Sean Bull's original works, there is stunning creations : The Mazda 787B tribute, the Koeniggsegg livery, the Toyota white/red reworks and my favorite of them, the Toyota Castrol Neon livery.
How can one like a specific Williams car, they had some really beautiful and iconic cars over the years 1982 1992 1996 2002 2014 2021 just to name a few...
I kinda feel like the 1991 Ferrari is just a worse iteration of the 2022 livery. I’m young so obviously I’ll always favor newer and more sophisticated bodywork for the livery to cover but that Ferrari reminds me of arts and crafts, how you spray paint something all one color before putting it together. It’s like the bodywork is all red and then anything that’s too hard to paint is black. Plus the F1-75 sponsors look so much more appealing and somewhat shape the black around the curvature of the sidepods. You can’t ignore the 75 on the air intake either because that’s just the perfect accent on a car that uses really nice and sleek fonts for every sponsor and driver number. The 2022 driver number font is just the best Ferrari has ever used and Ray Ban being curved over the lip of bodywork with the slight black shadow underneath is like the epitome of how modern ferrari sponsors should look. Santander’s return also followed that almost imperceptible shadow design.
That Martini Williams 2019 or 2020? I can't remember the exact year but it was a very memorable livery and had that car been more than dog sh!t, people would talk about it alot more
Completely missed a step in the history of Mercedes. BAR got bought out and became Honda, and are classified as a different team. Yes they had similar liveries due to still being sponsored by Lucky Strike, until they did the Earth cars, but defo still a different team. And completely skipped Renault and Lotus for Alpine. I gave up after that.
Yeah I didn't realise it was too late. In retrospect, their first Honda one was the best. Also Renault and Toleman are there, I just hadn't added them to the chapter markers.
I like the 2009-2016 Toro's with big red bulls on both sides. The huge 2010 cars were absolutely glorious, but 2011 Toro for me is the best of its history

Also my unasked for unpopular opinion: the 2008 regulation cars with a billion aero devices were good looking. I just wish they used slicks. There's a video with Alonso reunited with the 2005 Renault and they used pirelli slicks on it and it looked great
To me, the West livery edged it out as it was the template which evolved into the Vodafone era.
the 2008 cars looked really good. My favourite F1 car of all time is the 2008 McLaren. Both the Livery and the shape of the car itself.
I just discovered this channel of yours, and I gotta be honest, it's bizzare hearing your voice talking about anything other than completely insane Dragon Ball what-ifs
Well it's mighty kind you giving your time to hear me out. :)
It might be just me but the Alpha Tauri seemed like an Orca to me for the longest time.
Hmm that's a new take.
My Choice
RedBull-RB14 2018
FERRARI- SF71H 2018
MERCEDES-W10 2019
AlPINE-A521 2021, renault- 2020
Mclaren-MP421 2006 and 2015 one
ASTON MARIN-AMR22
HAAS-VF20 2020
ALFA ROMEO-C41 2021
ALPHA TOWRY- AT02 2021, TORO ROSSO- 2019 one
WILLIAMS-2014-2017 MARTINI and 1996 ones
i’d say the best Merc was the 2019 one. it was just so beautiful with that neon glow on the turquoise stipe. loved it. wish the W11 kept the neon stripe instead of being 2D
Didn't know you had an motorsports channel Lawrence! A great discovery!
Red Bull/Jag/Stewart - agree fully with your choices
Mercedes/Brawn/BAR/Tyrrell - Yeah I can go with those. The 1994 Nokia Tyrrell was very smart looking
Ferrari - In the modern era, 2016 with the white airbox was gorgeous. Also, 2007/2008 where they went back to a deeper cherry red. Do love that 641 though
Alpine/Renault/Lotus/Bennetton/Toleman - Unpopular Opinion but the 1995 Benetton was better looking than the 1994. Their 2020 Design was very nice too
Mclaren - 2006 - 2008 for me. about the time where the white in their Livrey was replaced with chrome
Alfa Tauri/Torro Rosso/Minardi - Agree, they've always been something of a hodge podge of sponsors. But I guess it's the PS01 with the mostly black.
Aston Martin/Jordan/Midland/Spyker /Force India- The Spyker F8 with the White, red and gold was amazing. THe 2023 Aston martin Is their most refined and a throwback to Lotus in the 60's of all teams
Williams - The camel one from 1993, the rothmans Livrey and the 2013 return to renault livrey which was a nod to that. Their Martini design of all white was great. I still struggle to accept the red cars from 98/99.
HAAS - Agree with your choice
Alfa Romeo/Sauber/BMW - The 2023 is the best looking Alfa. Sauberwise, The C22 from 2002. BMW, I'd go with 2008 but they were all really samey
Honerable mention: Arrows - 1997 Design and the all black 1998 car, and the Gitanes era of Ligier
Best F1 liveries
Hoo boy, now that’s a long one.
A lot.)
The best Alfa Romeo is the 2022 one. No questions asked.
I agree with your Sauber choice.
And the BMW of 2008 is the best for me.
This year’s Aston Martin is the best looking thus far. (Go Alonso!)
The Racing Point of 2020 is also my favorite (Go Checo!) and I agree with you in the Force India.
This was a good video dude I liked your analysis on the liveries they are really cool
am i the only one who really likes the 2008(and especially 2009) renault liveries?
2008 was OK but the 2009 one looked bad on the chassis.
When it comes to the McLarens, I have a favourite or two for each sponsorship era, I can't really pick one:
Marlboro: MP4/8 and MP4/10
West: MP4/13 and MP4-20
Vodafone: MP4-22 and MP4-27, though shoutout to the MP4-21, which was basically Vodafone without Vodafone.
Marlboro: MP4/5B
West: MP4/16
Vodafone: MP4/26
Papaya: MCL35
2017 Sauber should be in the mix for them, the colours are so perfect
It's the smartest of their wilderness year liveries.
Sauber 1996-97 looked incredible
My favorites are those with tobacco company colours. Like the yellow Benson&Hedges Jordans or the Rothmanns (which also look good on several Porsche race cars) Williams. Also the 7up Jordans are very high on my list.
Yeah those two were good!
It's a reupload if I remember.
The best livery story came from mercedes when they got rid of all the paint on their car to reduce weight back in the days.
That's right yeah. This is safe to come back.
Renault R24 to R28 are my favorites. But Ferrari F2004 and SF-16H nailed it.
lotus renault gave us one of the best sound clips of Kimi Räikkönen
Most definitely. He knew what to do.
@@LawVS yes
I reckon the 1994 sauber should be here. The black, white and red polka dot design they had was clean and could be collabed with an artist quite easily. I wonder if they throw it back for 30 years of sauber in 2024.
Yeah it was quite smart, their partnership with Tissot.
mclaren's mp4-18 has to be the hottest
it's always as hot as a burning fire
Yeah but shame it was so fragile it never got to race.
I gotta say, the can testing livery for red bull was very nice
Yeah. It was an obvious and logical choice!
@@LawVS what if it ran at Las Vegas or Austin? Probably not, because it isn't very 'Wild West' or ' -Instant Money Loss- Casino'
For me the 2006 McLaren Mp4-21 was the best. It was aggressive with its horn wings and yet a beautiful looking car
Fair enough!
Disagreements:
The best Red Bull livery is either the rb10 or rb11 livery. The current one that hasn't changed in 8 years is fine as is, but it got a little old and oversaturated
The best Mercedes livery is either the 2024 or 2020 one, i think the 2024 is a little different, with both black and silver being quite prominent
There are few Ferrari liveries that actually stood out, most being just red with some sponsors, the 2024 liveries were quite unique, though. The early 2024 one was amazing, the HP sponsored one... not so much. But i think the best Ferrari liveries are the 2010 and 2011 ones, tied
I think the best McLaren livery is the early 2015 one, with some red stripes on the nose and that silver and black meshing so well together. The car didn't perform greatly, but the livery was incredible
The blue Toleman livery wasn't really that good to me, the white, blue and red one that was used in the tg184 is the best looking. Perfect balance of colors and that big, white "Candy" written on the side pods made it really stick into my mind for some time
The best modern Renault livery is the R.S.16 one, but the best classic Renault livery is the R26 one
The best modern Lotus livery is... literally every livery except for the one used in the E21 and E22
Although i do recognize it isn't the most popular take, the 2021 Alfa Romeo livery is the best to me, the bigger appearance of white made the red look less tacked on and more like a subtle detail referencing the brand
The AMR21 looks better, but this time it's more of a personal preference, i know it looked weird to most people
The red that HAAS used in the nosecone in their early days was never my cup of tea, i much prefer the black one from 2020, coupled with the white, the red HAAS logo and stripes on the front wing, and that very subtle pattern in black as well, seen in the (what's it called?) thing that was formerly the sharkfin in 2017. But the best one is the 2021 livery, the way it plays with the estabilished white and red to form a russian flag throughout the car makes it look amazing
Alpha Tauri's 2021 livery could be so much better, the white wheels and the more prominent dark blue could make for a very interesting and unique design, but the way in wich they used that color combination made the dark blue too little too much. The 2020 livery is the best one, looking just as fashion-ish as the 2021 livery, but with better usage of the colors
Williams Martini. No more words needed
class video, subbed.
Thank you!
Yes, the 1999 Stewart was very clean, and I am fond of the 1997 Jordan with the ‘Bitten & Hisses’ snake.
One of the wittier changes to tobacco sponsorship.
I think the 2021 liveries were the best set ever
The Alpine from that year was gorgeous. Modern classic.
I was a fan of the Mercedes one-off Hockenheim livery before..... ahhh 😅
Yeah that was jinxed.
My favourite F1 livery design of all time was on the 1983 Lotus driven by Nigel Mansell.
It's a classic, yes.
@@LawVS To prove that advertising on F1 cars doesn't work: I was a smoker back then, and I switched to JPS cigarettes because of how cool I thought that car looked. Ooops, I guess it did work for me.
This year's williams is really nice imo.
It's a very sensible and smart livery but it could be better. Here's hoping we get a Gulf variant at Monaco!
How the Jordan of 98 isnt here is beyond me
I feel that the 1999 Jordan is the peak of that generation but the first one was a hit on the first bounce.
I love the 98 mp4/13 and 99 mp4/14
Yeah those two cars were pretty iconic. Even the MP4/15 and 16 too!
Please show the whole cars the next time :)
I shall do.
what about the Yardley liveries on BRM then McLaren from the early 1970, the Gold Leaf Lotus, and the White and Red Hondas from the 1960's, and the Wersteiner-Arrows from 1979/1980 ?
They didn't quite make the cut but they're very pretty.
Do a F1 livery ranking of 1989 ;) (back when 39 drivers try to qualify ;)
Yeah those days were nuts. Perhaps I should make a video about the days of pre-qualifying.
My favorite season by far! as i'm loving building modelcars doing the 1989 season is a wip atm
Meanwhile Indycar sustains 340kmh a full lap in Indianapolis. Up to 370kmh going into turn 1 and 3.
Only real impressive thing I see here is the braking power.
Cornering is probably faster. But Indycars are certainly powerful beasts too.
i respect you so much for putting the ferrari from 1991 at the top. about the alphatauri however, i do have a soft spot for the at03
The AT03 is a good one but the AT02 got the sweet spot of colour.
@@LawVS agreed, alphatauri color scheme is among my favorites on the grid, i got a bit disappointed this year honestly but it is what it is
I really liked the BMW Williams design, for Enstone I liked Renault's banana colours!
Those were pretty good and iconic, especially the 2003 one where it peaked.
To be honest even when it comes to liveries the F2004 could still be on top
It's on the simple side but that mean it's beautiful.
never in my miserable life did i ever watch someone say something positive about red bull's similar liveries
It's a good look and when it came in 2016 it was a headturner.
Jaguar had the real British Racing Green on them. They could have done with more of it, but I loved them. Aston Martin's green is too bluey.
I'd love to get him down for an interview one day and talk about his process.
How can one like a specific Williams car, they had some really beautiful and iconic cars over the years 1982 1992 1996 2002 2014
2021 just to name a few...
They've had a lot. It was hard to pick one.
Wait MasakoX is making F1 Vids now?
Yep! Sharing my other passion in life.
I think it be more interesting to teams which aren't apart of the gird anymore such as caterham , Toyota
Maybe a best list for specific decades.
The fact that three of these cars were driven by Alonso shows that he is the GOAT.
And that he's been around a long time plus good taste!
I think you just skipped honda before the brawn gp. The 2006 honda looks pretty
Yeah I missed it and I agree with you.
I actually really like the 2019 Williams and it’s funny seeing how no one agrees.
That's fair enough! I'm glad you like it. :)
@@LawVS good video btw, the ugliest cars video was also entertaining
For the most part, Ferrari was JUST red with not much else. The 80/90s Ferraris are what the base for the 2022 Ferrari onwards are aiming for.
No mention of Honda?
I missed it, but the 2006 one gets my vote
Id respectfully disagree with the mclarens the chrome ones were everything
That's fair. They are pretty nice.
that is a crime to say that 7up Jordan was best and to forget about any of the yellow ones...
There's too many to choose from. The 1999 Jordan is a close second.
Alpine having BWT as a main sponsor has been one of the worst things to happen to livery design in the last 50 years
But some of the best things on Alpine's list of income.
WHYS HE NOT ON THE LADDER
F2004 for me.
Fair enough!
The 2017 haas is the haas ilike
Right on. It's not bad at all
You forgot Brawn was Honda, Honda globe was glorious.
Yeah I missed Honda, so that would be 2006.
Instead of the 1991 Ferrari, I would pick up the 1990 one: the 641/2. Equally beautiful (if not more) with the plus of not being a camion.
It does have a sound I'll give you that.
The 2008 Mclaren was so nice
It was very nice and the epitome of the winglet era.
The McLaren West livery is their best.
It's their most iconic in recent memory
The hottest Haas was the Sakhir 2020 Haas
Oof
The RS18 is one of the better looking Renaults imo
I do like the Black/Yellow modern Renaults.
I miss glossy shiny paint so much
The Alfa and Astons still has gloss.
2013 redbull
Neat.
Vodafone McLarens come on!!
Very nice indeed, the Wests being the template for that base design.
That Martini Williams 2019 or 2020? I can't remember the exact year but it was a very memorable livery and had that car been more than dog sh!t, people would talk about it alot more
Martini was between 2014-2018.
No bigging up the benettons between 1992 and 1996?!
The ones before 94 were good but the 96 one was too busy.
I had no idea MasakoX was also an F1 fan lmaooo
Yep. Been one for 25 years or so!
@@LawVS thats awesome. Love your work as a VA!
I want Minardi back on the grid
Technically they never left.
What about McLaren’s Monaco 2021 Livery? That’s my favorite ever for any team.
These are the conventional liveries...and the Gulf 2021 livery is too obvious.
Looking for the best livery for Ferrari, wich ist in F1 since the stone age, is easy: Red with a horse on the front of the car.
Yeah you're spoilt for choice
Wait, theres more to your house than just a ladder and loft?
I know. Surprising yeah?
I hate flat paint. Just gotta say it. Gloss is always better.
It does have its charm. Flat really depends on the colour.
@@LawVS naw. It doesn’t. Any of these flat cars would look better in high gloss.
@@ImInLoveWithBulla disagree
@@ImInLoveWithBulla that's YOUR opinion
2:44 2004 BAR Honda only in left pic & on the right is just the 2006 Honda. Not so beautiful anymore with more wings & No V10 POWAAAH!
Yeah, 2004 was peak BAR/Honda
Completely missed a step in the history of Mercedes. BAR got bought out and became Honda, and are classified as a different team. Yes they had similar liveries due to still being sponsored by Lucky Strike, until they did the Earth cars, but defo still a different team. And completely skipped Renault and Lotus for Alpine. I gave up after that.
Yeah I didn't realise it was too late. In retrospect, their first Honda one was the best.
Also Renault and Toleman are there, I just hadn't added them to the chapter markers.
Team Four Star F1 Team??
One of them at least.
You missed Honda between BAR and Brawn. Though I hope that’s a deliberate choice as their earth liveries were awful.
Yeah I realised that after publishing. 2006 was the best one.
@@LawVS as a Jenson obsessive (they say things from your teens are the most profound lol) I’ve got to love that one.
Uh honda??
Yeah I missed that. In hindsight it's the 2006 one.
the black merc livery was so good that people were upset when they tried to go back to silver
It was less that and more to do with a means to save weight whilst not detracting from the livery. The all black one was a genius play.
How do you know so much? Is there a job??
Just had plenty of time watching the sport. Been a fan full-time since 1998.
the w11 was ugly as hell
To each their own.
If im not mistaken the c19 sauber era was when kimi and massa came into f1?
Yes, circa 2001/2002.
I don’t know how but I don’t agree with anything you said about the liveries. Only the alpine
That's perfectly fine. I am but one person and I respect your preferences.
I like the 2009-2016 Toro's with big red bulls on both sides. The huge 2010 cars were absolutely glorious, but 2011 Toro for me is the best of its history
Yeah they were very artistic bulls!
