+1 to all of these, especially on that Marin. I went with a 2.4" Dissector in the rear and after going tubeless, it dropped a whopping 1.5lbs from the rear wheel. One last point might be upgrading the seat. A lot of bikes come with decent ones but it's worth it to try another one if you're still not comfortable with what came on the bike.
I agree... Tires should be #1 on the list. I'm a Victoria Mazza fan myself. Water bottle on the list though.... I would boot that and suggest getting a good pair of mountain bike shoes.
Thank you! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to ride it yet. Bad combination of work, life, bad weather and being sick has kept me from riding. Can’t wait to go shred it though…
I’ve had multiple sets of them. I am also in contact with the mountain bikers whose designed them and they told me all about the design and what they put into them. But I hear ya! Definitely a lot of “UA-cam” mountain bikers just trying to get views and making reviews on stuff they don’t use. That’s definitely not me.
Hello, I see you run maxxis 2.5 WT tires on a im assuming 35 mm rim because the factory came stock with 2.6 inch wheels. Do you reccomend going with maxxis 2.6 for my 35 mm rim or a 2.5 WT or 2.4 WT because I can’t find the difference, and I want the biggest one I can get on my bike which is said max 2.60. Thank you. Also I want a trail maxxis setup and I’m wondering if the DHFs up front and DHR2s rear would suit trail riding or go a faster rolling combo but I still want good grip
Everything! If you have tubeless ready rims and tires,,, you need to be I tubeless. If you have to buy new rims and tires to do it, then I can see why you wouldn’t.
No more pinch flats , no more thorns or cactus flats , run lower tire pressure so a more comfortable ride tires conform to the trail more. Out in Colorado if you run tubes you won’t make it 2 hours before you get a flat.

Definitely 👍 Getting the right saddle is huge

Good set of riding shoes is key 👍
The new Marin is looking nice. Think you made a solid choice

I like to see a video on commercial bad boy hybrid
50 shades of orange 🍊 😂
That’s exactly what I was trying to avoid 🤦🏼♂️
Not sure how you can suggest those grips before you use them .

Well done.
Thank you 👍

@@JaredHoff I left a comment here by accident it’s right under
what is so good about riding tubeless?

Music is 2x louder than necessary. Can't focus on what you're saying, very distracting. Shame, 'cause the content & everything else is well done.
Sorry about that and thank you for the feedback. I’ll definitely try fix that in future videos.
