You helped clear this up for me , because I was scared to invest money into the challenge, pass it, then to only be told I don't the sufficient documents needed in order to get a funded account. When you change the date in stratergy tester you back dated prior 2 months to current date do I have to do that everytime to make it current to date or just wait amonth or 2 and change it thanks

Hey, yes you will still have the Max Daily Loss and Max Loss limits on your funded account. You do not have any profit target or minimum trading days however.

Why the daily 5% loss limit tho? Isn't it enough for -10% max loss? Let's say I went from 200k to 250k within a day, but the next day I fail the -5% loss - what's the point? I'm a scalper and can easily go -5% at the start of the day, but finish strong at the end of the day.
Rollover just means that you don't withdraw profits for that month and leave them in your account. FTMO will then generate a new account for you for the next month with a balance which includes your previous month's profit

The only thing I can't get any clarification on is what happens once you have the funded account? I mean I know that when ever you do your 1st trade it starts a 30 day rolling contract. But what happens if you reach the 30 days and your under your 100k standard account balance. Say 98k but haven't hit any of the loss parameters? Does a it complete the period once you are back in profit and then start a new 30 day calendar on your next trade?
Once you are funded you have no 30 day time limit. If you are in drawdown at the end of the month say 98k of a 100k funded account you just can't do a profit split. You have to dig yourself out of that drawdown however long it takes without violating any parameters. Now say that the next month ended with the account at 107k then you can profit split 7k.

I noticed in their terms of services somewhere that there is actually no guarantee to become a funded trader once having passed through the challenge and verification even having successfully passed all the trading objectives. Do you know what will happen in auch case? So you then would have actually paid upfront to trade a demo account for some time, so you then get a refund of FTMO if not accepted as a funded trader? Hey Roman, thanks. I am not aware of such a term and have never seen a case like that. I have seen hundreds of traders go through the FTMO process and have never seen that happen, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Less than 30min you’ll get your Demo account for the challenge. A day after for your verification account (they’ll analyse your trades), finally for your trading account, it depends on how fast they process your particulars.
