Awesome video as always Paul. What a fantastic way to see the countryside, with the wind in your face and the roar off the engine, brilliant mate. Look forward to your next outing my friend. Thanks Paul for sharing.
Thanks Steve, I've just planned a route which will take me along the Roman road as far north in Lincolnshire as it will go but have a few repairs to carry out on the bike first
Thanks for taking us along for the ride.I haven't ventured out around that part of lincolnshire..Yet .I know you've called the bike barbie but what about calling it Captain speedy. The adventures of captain speedy has a ring to it i think.
Am I to understand that you rode two-up on that little bike? If so that is even more impressive. Love to watch videos of folks who also love to take little bikes on large rides. Also, my memory may be flawed, but is your username a reference to the hitchhiker’s guide? It sounds very familiar. Thank you for the video.
Excellent Steve! if you're on facebook do a search for 'Honda Innova anf125 UK' group and join it, there is a load of people on there that really know their stuff when it comes to the Innova carb or injection version. Or join c90club.co.uk as there is a sub forum for the innova. Just remember, it's only 9hp and does slow down on hills etc but you get 120 miles per gallon out of it. happy riding, subscribe if you want to see more as I will be doing a lot of trips this year and filming the adventures. Paul
Thanks Dan, the Honda Innova 125 is very light, it only holds 3.8 litres but I can get about 80 miles with it. The last long journey I went on it averaged 121 miles per gallon
Can you ride one on a full driving license or do you need a bike license for a 125cc I’ve been think about getting a moped just for going detecting on.
I have a full bike license so can ride anything although I think you can ride one of these with L plates on a provisional license or full car license but you'd have to check to be sure.
I just did a check, you can ride up to a 125cc motorbike on a car license but have to take you CBT training 1st and then you will need L plates on the bike until you pass you bike test. CBT was EASY and I did a days training for the bike test and passed that, again easy. Did all this back in the early 1990's
yeh probably could, it's all down to speed and the amount of throttle, So if I were to pootle along at 30mph then i've read that ~200mpg is possible. The Honda C50 is reported to do 384MPG!!!

Captain speedy sounds great mate.
When I saw this comment I couldn’t help think James may's nickname from top gear CAPTAIN SLOW!
Gainsborough at bit rough hahahahaha.... Can't wait to tell the mother in law that beauty. Nice one mate that put a proper grin on my face . 🤣👍
heh heh yeh tell her lol.
I'm not sure how rough it is these days, I know it was quite bad in the past.
Great bikes. The only downside is the tank range. On a modern twist and go you can more than double it

Waiting to collect my 60 plate Innova very soon, looks fun.

What an adventure you should make more of theese
Thanks mate, I will
Fantastic video pal
How heavy is this bike
99kg
I borrowed my mates piaggio for a couple days and 45mph was really scary.
How is 50 on these ones?
any speed is fine on it, I've had 68mph using a GPS speedo but that was downhill lol
Also how much money to fill it up petrol and and many miles you can get

How is it in the rain / winter time
It's pretty good, need to wrap up warm.
No protection to the legs when it's raining.
I have some oxford heated hand grips which work really well.

I bet you could get another 30 miles per gallon riding on your own.
