may i ask why excactly the dog is on unstable objects? is it for consentration?

Teaching a dog to touch and walk on all different kinds of textures and unstable surfaces helps the dog become more confident :) Which is very important for puppies so they are less likely to be scared/unsure of new things as they get older. So the more objects, sights, sounds, and smells you expose puppies/dogs to the more confident and mentally stable they will become :)

That and malinois are meant to be worked, they aren't the type of dog you want if you just want a pet, so they need special training and to learn lots of different things to really push them mentally.

This is necessary for both physical and mental balance not to mention obedience you ignorant fools, all high end working dogs you see in the police, military etc go through this type of training from early puppy days. Beginning from 6-8 weeks of age.
