when i was 7-8 this was the only game that we had on our computer and i remember playing it for hours on end. i forgot about it up unitl 1,5 hours ago when i saw this video and all the nostalgia came back. I saw the run and was caught up in a strange mix of nostalgia and weirdness created by all the strats and speedrunning. when i was a kid i didn't strafe and b hopped in the mission with macmillan. i shat myself whiile crawling in those fields being scared of the enemies seeing me and trying to stay low as the captain told me. rewatching this game made me appreciate the creativity and commitment that the devs made with it, just the cinematic masterpiece, the mission where the son kill himself, the gas station ambush, the nuclear explosion, captain price being the father figure and in the end we cannot know if he survived or not... just a great game overall. congratulations on the speedrun, that was actually impressive!
