I have watched many tutorials on installing hid. yours by far is the best. Others tend to cut corners and show after they've done something but you show each piece which is really helpful. thank you
Jose I am using Diode Dynamics brand hid kit. I would not recommend a 55watt kids as they burn a lot hotter and can melt plastic housings. 35watt 8000k premium kit is what I'm using.
and thats for both low and high beam light bulbs. I own a 2003 tiburon gt i was curious to see what wattage bulbs it was using and to my surprise both low and high beam bulbs are the same wattage.
Raymond, a relay isn't necessary but it is always a form of protection to the headlight circuit and will draw power from the battery. I would suggest to use a relay.
Hi. Not sure if you are still keeping up with these videos or not, I have a black 05' model tib. The paint is in immaculate condition but I've recently moved and it's impossible to always keep it garaged and I'm concerned about the paint fading over time like so many tiburon's seem to.. do you have any tips that are easy for women to do to make sure the paint doesn't get damaged or fade? I'd appreciate anyone's advice. I'm not necessarily a car enthusiast nor do I know much about how to work on them but I would like to know some ways of preserving the great condition that my tib is in. Out of respect for my car she's too pretty to let her get ruined 😊.. wish I could do the headlight conversion. Not sure I'm ready to attempt that though lol
Nicole Kennedy-Beaumont As you know black cars are hard to keep clean. I’d recommend checking out chemical guys blacklight and jet seal. If you need to remove unwanted swirls and scratches I’d pick up their entire V series compounds as well.
get_nasti Hi.. thanks so much for taking the time to kindly respond. I really appreciate it. So far the paint is still like showroom condition and swirl fee but I will do some research to see if the v series/products are available here in Australia or if I can order them online. Thanks so much for the recommendation. I really like the way the headlights are on yours. I bought my tib brand new when it came out here and have never really driven it, it's still like new, after moving though I had my BMW stolen so have decided to make the tib my daily drive. I had some chrome rims and low profiles put on her and have been looking around to have the headlights done and the casing done in black to match the car but there's a lack of car customizers here in Aus. For now though I will take your advice and seek the products you recommended. Thanks again so much and great video 😊
bro could you help me out if just did the low beam all because of you but I not sure how to make the high beam have you done that video? or you could do it will help me out so much
Nice tib man! Quick question. I am replacing my Hyundai Tiburon headlights and found a very good price online. They say it's just for 06 models according to the part number. I have an 05. But they look exactly the same. Do you know if they are?
Mason Lo i did the front bumper conversion but my headlights are a bit off one of them stick out more to the side. they are still 03. does it mean i have to fo the 05 headlight conversion so they fit better?
Randy Ray 03 tibs use the same bulb size as an 06. H7 for the low beams. www.diodedynamics.com/store/led-bulbs/listed-by-vehicle/hyundai/tiburon/hyundai-tiburon-low-beam-hid-conversion-kit
Randy Ray you would need two separate kits. Both H7 for lows and H7 for highs. BUT I wouldn't recommend HIDs for high beams because they aren't instant on/off and require a warm up period to achieve full brightness (7-10seconds). Start with the low beams. I rarely used my high beams after installing my HID conversion kit.
I would recommend 6000k over 8000k. There is more visible light. No issue, that is just color temperature rated in Kelvin not bulb temperature. Recommend 35w kit only.

Wow this guy is very professional, very easy to follow!
Thank you for the info about drilling the 1 inch hole in the dust shield! I'm gonna do that to mine now
Minute 1:20, he said disconnect this wired and the wired was already disconnected 😆😆😆 and pretending that he was disconnecting the wired 😂😂
Easy clear cut video. Awesome Man!
Glad it helped you out! Thanks!
I subscribed because of the 06 Tiburon and your video was well put awesome job thanks for sharing.

Awesome! Thank you!
You do know that the factory oem bulbs in the tiburon use 55watt halogen H7 bulbs?
and thats for both low and high beam light bulbs. I own a 2003 tiburon gt i was curious to see what wattage bulbs it was using and to my surprise both low and high beam bulbs are the same wattage.
Гарне відео. Дякую!

Hey quick question did you buy the heavy duty relay ? Is it a must have or no ?
What if the bulb dies , do you have to buy the whole wiring to replace the bulb ?
Give ya all a tip why switch from a 20$ bulb to a $100 bulb when slot of states are cracking down on the conversion kits
Do you know how I can get my fog lights to come on? I changed the light bulbs, the fuse and the relay and they still won’t come on? 05 model
Where did you get the fog lights? I'm about to order the 8000 kit now. The matching fog lights are mean looking!
More tiburon diys!
Excellent video 👍

Yes, lots of people with the 03-04 Tib bumpers convert to the 05-06 bumpers
Mason Lo i did the front bumper conversion but my headlights are a bit off one of them stick out more to the side. they are still 03. does it mean i have to fo the 05 headlight conversion so they fit better?

could it have any problem if I use 6000??
