And when it comes to parents, I definitely get that, when it comes to parents adjusting. I came out as a trans woman to my parents this year. They were always very loving, and loved me as the neuro-diverse individual I am, supported me pursuing acting. It took them both a bit of time, but I was honestly just fortunate they supported me from the start. I was just very patient with them, and over time, educated them more and more about transitioning, and they have been interested in trans rights too.
Rose is so beautiful. She went through a bad time but wow did she make it. Two wonderful examples of what can be achieved with perseverance after nature tripped itself up and made a mistake. What icons you both are on UA-cam.
When I came out to my mother that I was trans, it took 3 separate times to tell her. She thought it was a joke, she kept saying "Yeah Right!". It wasn't until the last time when I almost yelled that she needed to take this seriously. I was so scared that she would kick me out, but she says she's going to live with it but not accept it. At least she's OK with this, she may not accept it right now but she's not being mean to me. At least that's something.
