Wigan has had a strong music scene for decades and many very good bands emerged within that time period. Sadly, a high percentage of those bands were never given the chance of going beyond the limitations of being in a band in a relatively ignored (by the majority of Britain) town lost in the vast northern area of England. Possibly very difficult to find information on all these bands of the past 65 years and the Internet does not provide much of this information. But, there are many people out there who can supply a lot of information on Wigan bands and musicians.
Just listened them for the first time at a festival while I was waiting for Arctic Monkeysto play and this song was just pure joy I mean they completely stole the show. I sware they got so much music in them they are gonna blow up eventually

Heard this played recently at Warrington Wolves vs Leeds Rhinos and i've never been captivated by a band so much as I was watching these extremely talented young men. They deffinately put a lot of bands to shame with how great they are both live and pre recorded music like this. The Lathums are deffinately going to go far 🙌
