    Southern is right! My mom was an Arkansas Belle who learned to cook and ran a couple of restaurants in Stuttgart, Arkansas: the Depot Cafe and The Tip Top Cafe. Mama loved this pudding. I haven’t had this in years. Have to make some for Thanksgiving because I couldn’t trust myself to make it with no one else to be here to help finish it off. I’d finish the bowl off in just a couple of big slurps. Thanks!

      Oh interesting! I think the blue table brings out the yellow. The milk you’re using could be the culprit though. What milk did you go with?

    Can you double up to make more or would you recommend starting the process over again

      You can double it. It may take longer to cook down, so just keep on stirring!

    Does pan have to be cold before you start making the pudding

    Can you use Agar Agar or Arrowroot instead of cornstarch?

    Will raw brown sugar be ok?

      I haven’t tested with raw sugar, so I’m not sure. It will definitely alter the flavor and possibly the color. Are you comfortable using organic white sugar instead?
