I haven’t had this in years. Have to make some for Thanksgiving because I couldn’t trust myself to make it with no one else to be here to help finish it off. I haven’t tested with raw sugar, so I’m not sure. It will definitely alter the flavor and possibly the color. Are you comfortable using organic white sugar instead?
My husband isn’t a fan of coconut, so this is perfect. Looking forward to trying it!

You can double it. It may take longer to cook down, so just keep on stirring!

You don’t have to chill it. It’s just a room temp pan 😀
Can you use Agar Agar or Arrowroot instead of cornstarch?
You can use potato starch.
