      Same here I just literally heard and I’m in the U.K. Totally shocked. A very good player for a very long time. His brother Vernon was on the Broncos for a year and there was a moving scene where before they played each other in 2015 they dapped each other up and embraced. By accounts they were close. Rip Vontae and condolences to the Davis family.

      Luis Hernandez I'm Glad we got him. Indeed he was the best CB in the league last year. People say Brent Grimes is better, but he only did a few good plays. Vontae Davis should be higher on the top 100 players

      Id say he was the best corner in nfl until his injury. He hadnt allowed a single td for 2 years til when he got injured. That is clutch. Watch brady closely when he faced the colts on tape. Brady ALWAYS avoided vontae even in the afc championship when he won 47-7.

    They just traded Minkah Fitzpatrick. The Dolphins tradition of trading away great corner-backs continues. With their luck, Fitz will be the next Deion Sanders and whoever they draft with the Steelers pick will be out of football and running a muffler shop in 4 years

    Rest in peace buddy. Just came back after I heard he passed away. This clip is the first thing I remembered. He looked like a down to earth, humble guy. It is painful that the first thing he wanted to do was to call his grandmother and she was the one who found him dead this morning.

    I still can’t believe he’s gone. I wasn’t even a fan of his teams, but I was in high school and playing football at the time, so he was definitely one of those guys I was watching every sunday
