    Amazing! Seriously, congratulations to you (and your family). All your videos are well done and I used (and will use more) of your DIYs for my bus.

      Dude, thank you so much. That means a lot. We have a lot going on right now, out side of the bus but will continue to post and share our experiences. Thanks for watching!

    You did an awesome job,however it is possible that you stood in one place too (move your hands and feet in sequence long,this created the drips... excellent that you sanded it off.
    Amazing video my brother

    I’ve sprayed multiple vehicles with an hvlp gun and either krylon or rust oleum cut a little bit with thinner and has fantastic results. Had many comments wondering where I had the “pro” job done. It proved to be quite durable to. Love the desert tank just needs a turret and a 50 cal on the roof now😃

      Haha I agree. However with my driving I would be scared I may actually use it one some of those terrible drivers. lol Thank you so much for watching!

      Thanks so much! Yeah the bus is big enough as it is and we didnt want something that stuck out even more. lol

      @@BackroadPurpose I get that. We're going to go with Burgundy and silver or metallic gray and probably figure out how to add some mica flake. Just enough pizazz but generic enough not to stand out. We're pretty low key folks.

    You might have taken some light colored primer and sprayed over the black overspray to keep the black from bleeding through your new lighter color .By the way love the color choice.

    • @BackroadPurpose
      @BackroadPurpose  2 роки тому

      Yeah that was something I thought about but I knew I was going to have plenty of the color paint so I did go over the black overspray sections a bit more just to make sure it all laid the same color.

    Other than the rear light assembly you added that makes that bus look like a modern Datsun... It's starting to look good. I don't like flashing images that would cause epiliptic people to trigger a ceasure though.

    Do you remember the spray tip you used by chance? The paint is enamel I'd assume.

    Great Job! We love your videos. Did you change your front door? We were going to use your video to do ours, but did something not work out for you guys?

    • @BackroadPurpose
      @BackroadPurpose  3 роки тому +1

      Yes! We changed it and ended up making our own custom door. But what we had would have worked we just didn't like the options for locks and handles.

    • @Ailmbeauty
      @Ailmbeauty 3 роки тому

      Thank you for responding. What door did you end up going with? Thanks again!

    • @BackroadPurpose
      @BackroadPurpose  3 роки тому

      No problem! I ended up welding my own door and made a dutch down. Pretty simple actually.

    • @Ailmbeauty
      @Ailmbeauty 3 роки тому

      Ok, last questions on this :) Are you going to put the video out for the Dutch door? If you are great! Can’t wait! If not can you give me the rundown?
