I have code po420 2010 gmc Acadia truck runs good has all its power I replaced 2 02 sensors so far can it be my converter or just replace those other two sensors?
More than likely yes, you may need new need a new car. Some people like to try catalytic converter cleaner as a last resort
Are they all the same part number? I am having a terrible time on google determining the correct replacement parts
The downstream sensors for bank 1 & bank 2 are the same
Did it fix the problem?
For like a month or 2. Owners eventually had to buy catalytic converters
Isn’t there more than 1 O2 sensors?
Yes on this vehicle there’s 4 of them
@@ultimatediyguy395 I know where 2 are gotta find 2 more now lol
Did this fix the issue?
Yes
Same as an 2013 acadia??
I may be actually
Excuse me sir where are you located I need your expertise 😂 seriously not joking. Cali? @ultimatediyguy
Thanks bro I appreciate it, but I am not in Cali area
So replace downstream even if theres no code its giving me bank 1 sensor 1 and that will fix 420 code?
P0420 is kind’ve a universal code, usually the secondary code will help you look in the right direction. If you have a code for bank 1 sensor 1 change that upstream sensor and clear the codes both should go away
@@ultimatediyguy395 on my way to change it now i tried over weekend i couldnt get it loose so tight above that cat plus it was hot when i was trying while laying on my back so that was a bust this time im raising it in the air take 2 😂🎬
