I use both machines (DR trimmer and Echo strimmer) and both have their place, doing fine edges around garden borders and the like I’d use the strimmer every time however I also look after a property that has a near 1/4 mile track to access it with rough grass both sides and for that the DR trimmer has saved me a lot of time and backache 👍🏼
😂I bought a wheeled strimmer years ago...the only thing good about it was it sunk well when I chucked it into the canal
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Watching you work that wheeled trimmer wiped me out!
Me too 😂
Great demonstration and review Josh 👍👍
Cheers Nev 👍🏼😎
Nice One Josh Thanks again
Thanks Darran 👌🏽
I bought a DR wheeled brush cutter a few years ago as a handlebar strimmer gave me tendinitis in my fore arms. I don’t have any slopes so the wheeled brush cutter works well for me.
That’s great to hear it has helped you Al 👍🏼 thanks mate.
I think a good brush cutter and a good operator would make more sense than a 2 wheeled one. May as well use a lawn mower on a high cut if it is for flat surfaces
Great feedback, thanks mate 👍🏼
I wonder what that wheeled strimmer would be like with an older 6HP two stroke and a few more lines added. I think the Suzuki engines on Toro commercials were 6HP, or the engines some of the later two stroke Lawn-Boy mowers had.
The wheel trimmer be handy with a weed brush head
Hey Machinery Nation,
Bit late to the party, could you guys do a video on professional back pack brush cutters & strimmers.
I'm really trying to find an in-depth comparison on Stihl, Husky, Echo, Kaaz, Honda & Kawasaki why not throw one of those cheap one back pack multi tool kits in just for the fun of sheer comparison😂
Basically I'm a professional looking to invest in 1 of the above, I'm sick of being bent over by Stihl & Huskys Prices which in the back pack area are well over 1k in my local dealers when I know there's other good lesser known brands for a fraction of the price.
So I recently got a new ZT ride on that runs a Kawasaki & I'm now leaning towards buying Kawasaki ground kit for hedge trimmers & strimmers?
but I've also discovered Kaaz recently who apparently have been around for a long time & are reputable.
Can you guys help by making a fair comparison of this kit which often isn't seen in the past UK?
Kind regards
Samurai Tree Care
Brave man strimming in shorts josh 😂 I do love my Dr wheeled trimmer over a normal strimmer they definitely have there places. excellent video josh 👌 you say about two stroke and four engines what do you think to four stroke strimmers like the Honda gx35?
Haha, yeah short we’re a brave move 😂 we like the GX35 engines up to a certain level.
Always thought that the 2 wheel trimmer could use a third guide wheel up front
That makes a lot of sense, so it would be a useful pushchair 👍🏼
you dont have one of them french mowers with tilting engine for banks
I have 2 bikehandle brushcutters and 2 loophandle trimmers/brushcutters. The large ones are for heavy jobs, the others I use for the lawn care Business for trimming around flower beds, trees, fences etc.
A wheeled one is not an Option for me now, they are too large to fit around all the small places where a mower cant reach in
I agree a standard Brushcutter type is better for around lawns and awkward areas
I mean you guys should have gone with at least 43cc brush cutter
That wheel trimmer is a toy. Grillo HWT 700 supertrack is way to go💪💪
the amount of wheel trimmers i saw for sale in the states senond hand if only they made them self propeled
I do know of a couple brands who make the self propelled.
@@MachineryNation i imagine much easier know there more money
I have an Allen 218 that makes cutting the banks of my stream really easy. I don't really see the point of a wheeled strimmer.
Heavy old machines them! Glad it works for you 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation do you know of any lighter?
It's tiring me out just watching that wheeled trimmer
Hahaha 🥵🥵
Well let me tell you all something...
5 years ago at 60 years old I would have taken a loop handled trimmer over anything. Now that I'm 5 years older things have changed. My next purchase is DEFINITELY going to be a wheeled trimmer for my benefit. Easier on the arms, shoulders, back, etc. And to think I used to bash them to customers so I could sell them a standard weed Wacker, you know the ones that slam all that great green shit all over your face, glasses, pants, shirts, etc. It's a wonderful world 🌎👀🤣
Thanks Don, I know what you mean 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation I kinda figured you might! 😂
And if you are really concerned about your health condition you`d buy a hover mower ua-cam.com/video/plHVt6gqQg8/v-deo.html
