There was once a nurse who came to a food bank/soup kitchen where I worked. She was moved by God to give her a newly bought sneakers to the soup kitchen manager who had had feet problems recently. She left that day with no shoes on her feet. That is really the heart of a servant and I really believe that nurses have that heart. Thank you to all nurses who give of yourself selflessly.
I feel like brands like Nike, puma and adidas focus too much on the look and too little on actual comfort (you won’t feel it right away but if you stand a lot you’ll feel it). I think the best shoes for standing all day as a healthcare professional are those ugly ass new balance shoes. Not saying all new balance shoes are ugly but usually the more ugly they are, the comfier they are.
I have both adidas ultra boost and nike epic react. Both are very comfortable. Pure boost feels like you're walking on clouds except they don't give me enough support unlike with nike epic react, they're soft and supportive enough.
Yesss to the Vapormax, Epic Reacts and Ultra Boosts!!! Love all these for work and working out. Black all the way as a nurse though lol. Another good review! New sub 👍🏽

Vapormax’s are nice but I feel like after a while they really hurt the heel. Specially if you only stand up tbh. Idk if it’s just me but it does hurt every now and then
The first thing I would say is when buying a shoe is do you need a motion control shoe meaning are your arches low or have flat feet. Do you have high arches if so you probably need a neutral shoe. If somewhere in the middle try a stability shoe. Lastly buy your shoe off a old fashioned shoe store where you have knowledgeable sales people. Walking shoes if they are quality will probably be better than a running shoe, better lateral support !
I am a cna last year I got a pair of adidas ultraboost and I thought my feet were in heaven. One day I did a 16-hour shift and my feet did not hurt, keep in mind that I am a very chubby guy. I wish I had bought them sooner.
@@youngrevival9715 I have them for a year and they are still comfortable. There are some cracks on the boost midsole but the continental black rubber outsole prevents it from cracking even more. On both shoes water has never made it in through the cracks. I just noticed the crack the other day because I was just checking them and I bent the shoes for some reason. The cracks are not visible. The overall integrity of the shoe has looks great. They don't show wear unless you look at the continental rubber thread. There is still thread left maybe another year. My school doesn’t allow mesh topped shoes because of the “risk of needles and other objects penetrating the shoes” .. any other suggestions? Great video btw
Yea my nursing school was the same lol its funny cause most nurses wear shoes with mesh uppers 😂. ultraboost is more of a running shoe than for standing all day, they're comfterable for people used to standing all day. if your new to it, go with something else
Nike shoes are garbage for the healthcare field. Yeah, they are all good looking shoes and you might look like the dopest worker at your job, but these will absolutely ruin your feet. I’m constantly walking or in surgery standing for hours at a time, and never have I had a worse shoe than the vapormax. Worst purchase ever. If you want to please your feet, get Asics, Brooks, Or NB. My Kayano 25’s rock!
Let me save you 8 minutes of your life.... No context given into why the shoes he chooses (only Nike and Adidas) are particularly good for those working in healthcare. I think Jeff is just looking for a sponsor from the two brands he has selected. This video should be retitled, "My favorite models of Nike and Adidas shoes." The video has nothing to do with nurses, doctors or healthcare professionals.
The adidas boost is pure trash. You have to take in consideration one major factor when buying shoes. How much do you weigh? Most of these shoes do not work when you are over 200 pounds. These lightweight guys who weigh 150-160 can wear any of these shoes and get maximum comfort. When you press 200 plus pounds on any type of cushion or midsole for several hours the dynamics of the comfort changes drastically.
I'm 180 to 185 lbs. Different generations of ultraboost have had different densities of boost some more springy some more firm but all have been pretty comfortable. But its all relative. I don't think there would be a huge difference if I was 200lbs and I know people over 200lbs that wear them as well. But if people are worried they can try on the shoes in store and see what works lol I'm just a random buy giving an opinion nothing more.
@@comfortzone1223 yea i dont wear those airmaxs cause the are super uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time lol. I used to wear them for nursing school along with the airforce ones 🤣 worst mistake ever! But all these shoes ate going to be way more comfortable!
@@comfortzone1223 well I'm 9 months late but next time it might be worth a try to go to the store and tell them how u only wore them for 4 hours and they might give u a cash refund or store credit. Something's gotta give! Right? My coworker did that and I was surprised but I guess it's a possibility.
I'll put the Hoka Bondi 6 up there for superlative comfort for long work hours and is also very light even with it's max cushioning. ( is also cheaper now because new Hoka 7 just came out ).

What was the name of shoe 4?
3 days at Amazon and I’m there no I’m quitting. The pain in my feet is extreme. I bought new shoes and I domes and I leave feeling very sick to my stomachs because of the pain, crying and end of shift, and my feet feel bruised, ache in an understatement, I don’t know how I’m going to do another shift b
@@SheShakurChannel yes I did. It bothers me though that I didn’t give it a longer try but no training and I was working 70 a week with both of my jobs
Look into reducing overall inflammation in your whole body that’s the only thing that helped me
Vapolfly bubble breaks it’s game over
New balance 990.. thank me later!
ultraboost is more of a running shoe than for standing all day, they're comfterable for people used to standing all day. if your new to it, go with something else
How about Puma nrgy?
Nike shoes are garbage for the healthcare field. Yeah, they are all good looking shoes and you might look like the dopest worker at your job, but these will absolutely ruin your feet. I’m constantly walking or in surgery standing for hours at a time, and never have I had a worse shoe than the vapormax. Worst purchase ever. If you want to please your feet, get Asics, Brooks, Or NB. My Kayano 25’s rock!
the hospital I work has concrete floors I NEED DA KNOW WHICH ONE DA GET FAR AS IN STICK TO DEM ASAP SO WHICH ONE?
Nike was a waste of money for me and i tried 2 brands
I paid 75 $ for the last one and i have pain 4 hours after wearing them
What shoes were they? Generally i find that most shoes from brands like nike and adidas are not gonna be to comfy if they cost less that 100 dollars
@@JeffFallout the air max
Actually i am at work now and wearing them and i feel like i am walking on stones
But i am not ready to throw 75 away 🤐
@@comfortzone1223 yea i dont wear those airmaxs cause the are super uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time lol. I used to wear them for nursing school along with the airforce ones 🤣 worst mistake ever! But all these shoes ate going to be way more comfortable!
@@JeffFallout deciding between clarks and skechers !? Which one !??
@@comfortzone1223 well I'm 9 months late but next time it might be worth a try to go to the store and tell them how u only wore them for 4 hours and they might give u a cash refund or store credit. Something's gotta give! Right? My coworker did that and I was surprised but I guess it's a possibility.
I'll put the Hoka Bondi 6 up there for superlative comfort for long work hours and is also very light even with it's max cushioning. ( is also cheaper now because new Hoka 7 just came out ).
