Been a silent follower for a little while, but just wanted to comment, I really appreciate everything you've curated here. The information, the details, the effort to go to stores and explore options for everyday people. And your manner of speaking, moving, all of it, is very friendly and non-judgemental. I've tried to follow a couple of other dermatology channels, and they seem to be more condescending, and recommend expensive products...
Thank you for what you do ♥

YES it’s the absurdly expensive products that kill most other derms for me. OR pushing their own brands. No thank you. Plus Dr Dray has a great community of followers. This is the only channel I read the comments and reply on. I learn so much from everyone here!

      I ❤ your UA-cam content!
Sometimes when you are in a store and you are pointing to a particular product you are speaking about, and that sounds very interesting to me, my eyesight is not good enough to see printing on the package.
If you think of it, it would be so helpful if you could just say the name of the product when you point to it!

I've been doing that petroleum jelly on the nails hack. It's been so helpful ❤ My nails had been looking terrible after I overdid it with gel manicure. My nails look so much healthier now. (I swear I'm not getting gel manicures ever again. It looks pretty but it's not worth the damage on my nails)

I use micellar water for a couple things, it works great for when you want to create a cut-crease, cleaning up an eyeliner wing or any other whoopsies that can happen when you use eyeshadow or eyeliner and the other reason I use it is even when I double cleanse sometimes there is that little bit of eye makeup left over that it didn’t grab so I use a cotton pad/cotton swab to get it.

I was losing so much hair that the shower drain had to be unclogged weekly. I could feel the hair hit my arms as it fell. My primary doc blew it off but I was concerned b/c my very thick hair was thinning fast. I'd read that low normal iron, anything below 90, can cause hair loss if iron is the issue. I spoke with my hematologist and he tested my iron level..it was 70..he put me on Vitron C and it worked. I had to step up the amount I took periodically. It was constipating so there was that to deal. And it was hard for me to digest. But it did stop my hair from falling out.

My dermatologist said to use 1/4, so I’ll give it another try.
    Re: 5% topical minoxidil..

Niacinamide is the ingredient of the year! I even take it internally as a supplement in moderation. Vitamin B 3 (niacin). Helps build keratin a type of protein that keeps skin firm and healthy. Helps with lipid barrier which helps retain moisture. And it evens out skin tone. Nice add on to your skin care regimen.

Thank you for making another great video, Im a 22 year old girl and beginner to skincare so I always learn a lot from you. I have a question regarding a Vaseline that I recently bought which says its the brand Vaseline®BLUE SEAL pure petroleum jelly original. Its made in South Africa and its a bit yellowish in the bottle than the one you showed and has a VERY slight smell of petrol. My question is: should I be concerned about the color and smell or is that normal? This is the first time I've used or had Vaseline that's why I'm concerned. I've only used a very thin layer on my face 2 times after washing my face at night with Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel cleanser, so far I haven't had problems but I still want to know if the Vaseline I have is safe or not.

i take astaxanthin, im 32 and now wrinkles except for my sausage roll under my eye from filler. 😒 i already reapply sunscreen but humans are not very efficient at doing anything so i like the extra protection. im a barber so i use aftershave on my armpits and the alcohol kills the germs and i use antiperspirant. im all up in peoples space so i have floss and mouthwash and sunscreen at work 😂😂

Absolutely love the Mighty Patch for mosquito bites. I react badly to mosquito bites and these patches stop the itch for sure

@@Disha_Rwhen Dr Dray first started her channel, she used mineral oil as a first cleanse. I remember her saying to look for it in the pharmacy section of the store.

You can use as a first step, you don’t need an emulsifier as you’d be going in with a second cleanser
