My cat scratched me bad. I didn’t have rubbing Alcohol around. I did have an antibiotic ointment. But I remembered what you said. I used Vaseline petroleum jelly instead. Healing great now!!!🥰
I buy the Australian soap all the time. I absolutely love the feel of it. I also love that it doesn’t leave a scent on you since I always wear Parfume. Costco recently had that goat soap on sale. Pity you missed it. The mascara is going on sale from the 15th to the end of Aug I believe. I actually put the date on my phone so I won’t miss it.
Just a reminder that goat milk is produced all over the US and the globe, chances are good you can find a locally sourced brand of lotion & soap! I love the misfire farms brand and love that it's only available in 2 little farm towns and i swear that soap from the same climate that you live in seems to agree with the skin more. I don't even need lotion, but never feel greasy or oily, after using my goatsmilk soap
I picked up the goat milk soap and it’s great! The fragrance is delicate and it’s nice and moisturizing. I also have the dry shampoo and it’s fantastic, but dry shampoo gives my fine hair body. I like it in general. I’m a new Costco member so I love these videos!
Dr Dray. Please do a PSA on the Dove deep moisturizer body wash. There's a class action lawsuit because it contains a bunch of ingredients that aggravate eczema and psoriasis. I have neither and it gave me rashes in my forearms. It took me a while to figure it out because I'd been using Dove with no problem but tried the deep moisturizer and problems started. You guessed it. I bought the three pack at Costco.
An important thing to note about soap bars vs Dove bars: Dove bars are not soap, they are detergents just like body washes are. Soap is made with a fat (oil and/or butter) and lye.
I love Micellar Waters as part of my double cleanse but I wouldn't use it alone. Although, Sephora's brand Sephora Collection has some good skincare products at a reasonable price. I love their Ultra Glow Mask and Nourishing Moisturizer.
Thank you for this! Also, when you mentioned Bondi sands self tanner, items from Costco ending in .97 are usually clearance items! I hope my Costco has it marked down as well, I am hoping to try that brand!
I've been using the Costco bar soap for several years and love it! It lasts a long time, has a super light scent that you hardly notice at all and I can honestly state that after I started using it my Fred Flintstone feet started looking like Wilma Feet instead! I hardly get any calluses anymore and I walk between 10-13 miles per day!!
I used Rainbath for almost 30 years, but now I find it to be very drying and makes my skin feel tight. I loved the scent and wish they made a moisturizing version. I would buy that in a heartbeat.
Thank you Dr Dray for sharing your fun trip to Costco 🛍 I buy my Goat Milk Soaps that are made from fresh goats milk. The quality of these soaps leave the skin moisturized . I have tried handmade soaps from Bend Soap company, they are based in Oregon. And also Alabu skin care from Tennessee. Take care everyone 🏖 🍓🍦
It's true about biotin. Last year they thought I had hyo thyroid. Because of my blood work. A year last it didn't show. I saw your video on it and stopped taking. I could have been on medication I didn't need.
Hi Dr. Dray. I was wondering what your thoughts were on "Cos De Baha" products? They have retinol and salicyclic acid amongst other products and they're very affordable compared to other korean skincare lines, but I'm very skeptical due to the low cost on their actual efficacy (especially the retinol, if it's stable at all haha)
I’ve liked all your posts viewed. Appreciate the dissection of ingredients. Cut through all the marketing and packaging. One reason why I dislike Costco and stores of the like, b/c off all the excess packaging. I guess consumers perceive they’re getting more when there is this huge plastic or cardboard backing to take up the space in those giant carts. Anyway off topic, still love the information.
The Systane High Performance eye drops has saved my eyes while on Accutane, far better than Refresh Tears. At one point, I was having to wake up in the middle of the night to apply Refresh Tears eye drops, but not since using Systane High Performance drops.
Been wanting to try the goats milk soap they have. I’ve tried goat milk in soap in the past and it’s amazing. I like the fragrance free variety. I also picked up the Stivectin Neck Cream. It’s the second time I used it and find that it works incredibly well.
Just joined Costco so thank you, Dr Dray, for this thorough review of skincare! You look great in that shade of blue. Costco has some good deals on sports/athletic wear. 😊
Dr. Dray, have you tried Seba Med? The lady at the booth for Seba Med booth at Costco was really pushing the product on me and was saying how it was so much better than the Neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer I put in my cart.
Love starting my Monday with you at Costco! I was wondering… is there anything that can be used to prevent/shorten the dark bruises some people get on their skin as they age when you bump into something?
If you take over the counter pain relief, try Tylenol instead of aspirin or ibuprofen as these increase bleeding. Increase your intake of Vitamin C as well since it strengthens capillaries. Good Luck!
I use arnica gel and it does help the spots fade. I don’t know where to get vitamin k cream. Let me know what the brand is please. I’m always banging the backs of my hands and forearms. Thanks.
Very interesting to hear about the reformulated Dove body wash, as I use the Target label version of it and had noticed that the product in my most recent bottle doesn't foam up as well as usual and tends to slide right off my bath puff.
I haven't come across that goat milk soap in Australia. The most popular one is from the brand "The Goat Skincare". They do a whole range including soap, haircare, skincare & baby products. They also do a Calming Cream that contains many of Dr. Dray's favourite skincare ingredients. I've never purchased anything from "The Goat Skincare" before as I don't have sensitive skin. I've now just read that it is a family business that came about because one of the daughters had problematic excema. The products are made in Australia. 👱🏻♀️❤️
@@marylawman8603Hi Mary, It's a mild & fine winter's morning here in Melbourne. Being Tuesday, it's the second day of my 'weekend'. Maybe some treadmill later, if I still have some energy.🤪 I hope you have a wonderful week also! 👱🏻♀️❤️
I’m curious if the Olay pro advanced retinol complex moisturizer is the same as the Olay retinol 24 + peptide that everyone raves about? The ingredients seem slightly different and in a different order. I’m suspicious if Costco is able to sell this so much cheaper because it’s an inferior version made to look like the original.
Would the dove unscented sensitive skin bar be a good second step in a double cleanse after a makeup removing balm or oil? I know it's not ideal but what if you are on a budget or traveling? I was thinking it would be a mess free option for travel.
I think it’s interesting that Costco packaging is pretty substantial on cosmetics. It must reduce labor keeping the store neat and for stocking. But no one else seems to have those big packages.
I love the goats milk one because I feel like it makes my skin softer but I prefer Kirks soap to the Costco brand now because it feels like it cleans better with my BO…
They both have the 3-O-ascorbyl and fragrance. Some dermatologists are fine with these. The one that has ascorbic acid and is fragrance free is the Roc vit c capsules.

Nothing beats Beekman 1802 Goat’s Milk soap. The lather is like cream. Fabulous!! It is crazy expensive but worth the splurge!
I have a tiny hotel sample of their lotion that I’m using currently. The scent is a bit strong. It would be nice if it was fragrance free
They have a fragrance free body cream. They call it the “pure.” All others are scented.

She said the oral form (Accutane) DOES shrink the meibomian glands --causing dry eye, but topical Tretinoin doesn't shrink them.
