Dr 👩⚕️ you don’t know how much these post are so helpful 😢 I’ve been in such a financial crisis and these dupes help me still care for myself without braking the bank so thank you 😊
I want to add. Being a bit blunt here. Us women should get real we are all going to get old. You have to accept it. Most spend too much money on cosmetics. It doesn't have to be expensive. This should be a feminist issue. What's the point of spending too much money and being poor especially as I say aging is inevitable if we are lucky. Women should be financially savvy. I look at the money women spend on looking good, within reason they should be investing and saving much more of this. I don't have much disposable income but even if I did I'd invest and save more. For reference I'm 50 and have good skin no wrinkles at all. Stayed out of sun. Wore SPF from about 18. Used to see women in my salon spend lots of money on facials go off to Barbados then come back with skin like leather. What's the point !? I used to think.
I became aware of how important sunscreen is from your channel. It’s been a few years of consistent wearing and my skin now, is better than ever, thank you Dr Dray. Have nice weekend. 😊
The morning moisturizer with SPF is my new holy grail for everyday. Does not irritate my sensitive skin and it wears beautifully under my foundation powder. Thank you for this video!
Thank you for doing this product comparison video! It seems like a lot of UA-cam/influencers are not, addressing the fact that many of us every day consumers are really experiencing the pinch and pull of our economic state now. I keep seeing expensive products getting a lot of attention and I just don’t even watch them anymore to be honest. That is because I need to keep a check on the reality of what I can afford and don’t want to end up, wanting some thing I cannot. This Neutrogena sensitive oil free moisturizer is the third oil free moisturizer that I have heard of getting discontinued or having a formula change. La Roche Posay Double Repair changed to include squalane (but it doesn’t pill now! Sadly, makes me break out after using the original for five years!). Also, Bioderma Sensibio Light is now called Defense and contains all kinds of stuff it didn’t before, including oils. What is happening??
I went through my overconsumption of skincare phase because of influencers (and lack of self control). Never bought the really expensive stuff save for Paula's choice BHA (did nothing for me). A lot of influencers are so out of touch with reality unfortunately, and since they get many products for free they don't think about it. It's also their job and obsession, so they put more value in it than the average person.
SO happy to hear that you like the Advanced Repair lotion!😃 It's been my holy grail body lotion for years; I actually prefer its consistency over Vaseline's. Had never thought to use it as a facial moisturizer! Also happy to hear that the Up and Up version of Cerave PM is lighter! My skin's pretty oily in the summer, so this will be a nice replacement for my night moisturizer.👍🏽 Thanks SO MUCH for all you do!❤
I love the first sunscreen 50 for the body! The price is right and I’m loving it every day. And the dupe for the Vaseline intensive care lotion is one of my holy grails and $2.59 is an amazing price.
Love love love this store brand dupes skin care. Would love to see you do comparisons from ALL store brands: Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, etc. Of course, I will patiently wait for them… Thank you.
I don't know how generic products are made, but I'm assuming most of them get their products from the same manufacturers. They may differ slightly, but we see genetics of the same products across stores for a reason.
Yes, love the store brand comparison videos! I’d love it if you also tried Walmart’s Equate brand and Amazon’s Solimo brand. I’m so sad about the Neutrogena Oil-Free moisturizer being discontinued, I’ve been using it since I was a teenager and I’m in my 40’s now. Thank you for all you do!
Dr. Dray, please continue to show the highlights of shopping at Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens. I don't shop at Target for anything. Plus, they're over an hour drive away from me. Thanks. 👍
Please do CVS. Personally I think the CVS dupe for Cera Ve AM is better than the original. I haven’t tried other CVS “inspired by” products and would love your opinion on them.
I'm always here for dupes! Any day I can save money on skin care is a great day!! Thanks, Dr Dray and my wallet thanks you too. Happy Friday! Hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a great weekend!! 💞
I love the up & up sensitive oil free moisturizer. I find it more liquidy than the Neutrogena, but it feels great. No problem. I've used the beauty360 version of Vaseline intensive care on my face. I'll have to try the target one.
Great video, I really enjoyed this. I like to save money, of course, so I'm always hesitant to try new things that might just end up in the dumpster!! I love Target too, so many thanks!
I love these comparison videos of store brands and name brands. The two I’m most interested in would be Walmart’s Equate and the CVS store brand. I don’t have some of those other stores near me. Thank you!
Yay! I am so glad Dr. Dray reviewed Target’s body moisturizer! I love it and I have been using it for months! I no longer buy any other. The affordable price is unbeatable! I was wondering if you can one day review the benefits of castor oil on skin care products? I have been hearing about it a lot but I don’t trust anyone’s review as much as yours. Have a blessed weekend!😊
I love your videos but if you could show us the product and show how much of a white cast or just how it spreads and the texture that would be amazing! 😊
Dr Dray, can you make some content discussing the community who claim sunscreen causes cancer? I always see videos about it on tiktok and it makes me nervous to use sunscreens.
I was so excited for those, but at my local cvs, the generic brand is literally $1 cheaper so I decided to just stick to the one by LRP for that price):
I got the body lotion for 2.99 not sticky and greasy. Huge bottle huge savings. Plus Husby loves it considering he has eczema. Thank you Doc. I love this videos, with all d crazy inflation goin on this is big help 🤙
I know this is an Up and Up review, but GondBond Pure Moisture is pretty good for acne prone skin. I've been using it on my face and haven't had any real bad breakouts. :) Plus I got the huge bottle.
I would LOVE for you to try out the Dollar Tree brand products and let us know your opinion. I know you go over the ingredients when you do your Dollar Tree shop with me videos, but we all know that the formulation really matters. I'd really love to know if they live up to the hype .
I don't know why I am watching this. As I am not living in US and those won't be accessible for me. I guess I just enjoy her voice at the background and some skin knowledge
I really like the up-and-up water-resistant sunscreen that you showed first. Don't know how I Came Upon it but I started using it before you reviewed it. No cast and it doesn't seem to irritate my eyes but maybe I don't perspire enough. It makes it shiny around my eyes so I lot a little bit with a powder puff! Can't beat the price and the size of the container is large.😊
All your videos impart useful information, but I feel like this one really should be watched by two million people. It is invaluable for budget-conscious people, which is basically everybody right now. Thank you so much for this!
I too was so very disappointed that Neutrogena has discontinued their oil free facial moisturizer. I have been using it since I was in college. 😢 I have tried other moisturizers but always came back to that one. Ugh!
Loved this one! I was crazy looking for the Neutrogena lotion, i had no idea it was discontinued. It seemed like it'd be a permanent product but i do like the up and up version. Did they change the packaging for the Advanced Repair and is now Extra repair? I love your honest and trustworthy recommnendations!
Thank you Dr Dray i loved all as usual. I'm in Canada so we don't have Target but I always enjoy all your knowledge and especially love Walmart videos. Have a great weekend you and all.
I visited the US a few weeks ago and got quite some products from TARGET specifically the up and up version. I bought the lip balm ( a pack of 4) and i do experience irritation from time to time 😢..the daily face lotion feels pretty much as the Cerave i also got their sunstick ( haven't tried yet) their shaving cream is also a dupe for the AVEENO one.. really enjoying this one😊 The salacylic wash is nice for the body... I also got the benzoyl peroxide ( not available over the counter in the EU) to try it for the first time😮 ..fingers crossed.
No Up and Up Lip Balm with sunscreen at my Target stores so I ordered it. I'm using it and liking it, however, I agree with those who really dislike the taste! Whats up with that?
Went to my local Tar-zhay to get some of your stuff!! The price of Up&Up Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Unscented Dupe went up to $3.89 at my Target today. Also, have you tried your favorite Neutrogena Hydroboost Dupe by Up&Up? 1.7 oz cost $15.39. Cerave PM Dupe also is now $9.99 for anyone interested in pricing.
What great finds! I just dropped a bunch of stuff in my cart and I’m eager to try them out. I’m definitely in favor of skin care working without breaking the bank.
I normally get mineral sunscreens and I don't mind a bit of white cast, but that Up&Up Mineral sunscreen is the worst I've ever encountered. The bottle I got also felt gritty and abrasive on my skin. I definitely wouldn't use it around my eyes.
You are the hardest working "influencer " (sorry, I don't like that term) I have ever seen. Highest respect for your ethics. I would love a dupe comparison with Walgreens products. Please and thank you 😊 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for trying these out so we don't have to waste our money! How about Aldi? They sell a day cream, night cream, and a moisturizer that I think is like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost.
Hi Dr. Dray! Just wanted to clear up some confusion of mine. You link and show the extra repair lotion in the thumbnail, but in the video are holding the advanced repair lotion. Wanting to make sure i bought the correct product. I purchased advanced repair.
I think I mentioned this before on another video but two Targets in my area no longer are carrying the up-and-up SPF lip protection they told me it was discontinued. So if you find some you better grab yourself a couple of them!
I adore the Bioderma products and they are a mainstay for me! I never used sunscreen until learning about the importance of them from your channel. I am faithfully using sunscreens now and my hyperpigmentation is improving! I appreciate all you do to keep us well informed.❤❤❤
Lab Muffin has a short on this topic. Very helpful. 😊 ua-cam.com/video/1BB3SNv4yjc/v-deo.html Edit- she has a longer video too, but I couldn’t find the link.
Lab Muffin has addressed this in a short and the answer is yes, it will and in some cases change the texture. I'm sure dr dray has responded to this in the comment section and didn't advise switching contains either but for travel purposes either checking your large container with your bag or buying sample/travel size versions for carry-on.
Great video! I’ve tried some of these products and liked them as well. I’d love to see a video of affordable store brand simple acne routine. I have 2 teens going thru acne and having them keep up with routine is difficult, we especially go thru those pimple patches like water! And I feel like Mighty Patch has gone up in price so I’ve been searching for more affordable patches. Thanks Dr Dray!
Dr Dray, I got the Up and Up oil free facial moisturizer WITH SPF 15 and NOT the sensitive skin one. Do you think they are similar or is it one better than the other? I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
CVS sells the Peach Slices oil free moisturizer w/salicylic acid. I've been using for over a month and it's helped with clogged pores, breakouts. (Not tested on animals) a little goes a long way.
Question: What’s your opinion on sunscreen oils on the market (kopari, supergoop, etc)? They seem kind of oxymoronic but they’re cast free so I’m interested in your opinion in their efficacy.
The picky channel did a short on this and was supposed to do a follow-up but haven't seen it yet. The initial video was that it didn't provide the same amount of coverage as a regular sunscreen. But maybe could work as a touch-up like spf powders or such.
Thanks for this, skin care is so expensive. I would like a reasonably priced Urea cream that doesn’t feel waxy on your skin. Kerasol is a bit pricey. In Dermatology we used lots of petroleum jelly post shave and punch bx.
I like your channel and learned so much from you taking care of my over 50 skin. Question I have been using I am using UP& UP STI 9:26 ck broad spectrum 55. Can you inform me if this is a mineral or chemical ss. I wanted to double check with u first
Love Up and Up products. I've been using the Benzoyl Peroxide for a couple years now and just got my Cerave daily lotion dupe today. Definitely thinner. I have an off topic question. I just ordered the Needless serum and recently started using the Oridnary Buffet serum. Would I be able to use one in the AM in the other in the PM? Also can I use Vit C serum with the Needless serum?
This just goes to show not all products work for everyone because you still have mascara under your eyes after using micellar water, but I still have mascara under my eyes after double cleansing in the shower. Thankfully micellar water does not sting my face or eyes, and I will switch back to using only that after I empty the balm. :)
I enjoy watching your videos. Excellent content with science to back it up. I’m a nurse. What are your thoughts on Ponds cream? I’d purchased the Walmart brand. It’s very creamy and gets really white the more you try to rub it in. Once you let it sit the white cast goes away.
Can you review Walgreens? I was there this past weekend and noticed they have a bunch of store brand face sunscreens that are 70+ spf up to 110 and I don’t know if it’s actually worth it or not.
I wouldn’t say that the Up&Up SPF is non-greasy. I looked dipped in oil when I tried it 🥲 I keep it at my kitchen sink and use it after washing my hands since my hand skin is drier than my face.
Dr. Dray, I wonder if you got a bad bottle of Up & Up Skin Calming Body Wash. I started getting it because it was recommended, and I've been loving it. My sister has a container of the Aveeno version, and I don't see a difference. Also, none of the bottles that I've got so far had contents of a thin consistency; actually, they have been pretty luxurious. And I'm happy not to be spending a lot of money on it! 😊
She covers this in her videos on SA and says you can depending on the product and whether or not it irritates you. Check out her video review on the cerave acne control products and a few shorts like, salicylic acid myth or how often should you use salicylic acid cleanser.
CVS comparison of their version vs. La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser please! I just finished my La Roche Posay and bought the CVS version (way cheaper using my Extrbucks) but haven't used it yet. Since Neutrogena discontinued my beloved Hydroboost cleansing lotion I'm on the hunt for a gentle second cleanser after my oil cleanse (love the hado labo oil cleanser! Thank you for recommending!!) I loved the La Roche Posay one but it can be pricey.
Dr Dray, can you review the new The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors+Beta Glucan gel moisturizer? The ingredients seem to be perfect. The gel moisturizer has Aquaxyl, Amino Acids, Urea, Arginine, Beta Glucan, some Vitamin b5 and vitamin e. The price seems very reasonable, $13.50 for 100ml. I have dry-combination skin in the summer and I live in a dryer climate (40-45% humidity). Should I use this gel moisturizer before applying the Cerave Moisturizing Cream? And for those with oily skin and live in the same dry climate, do they need to follow with an occlusive after using this gel moisturizer?
Dr 👩⚕️ you don’t know how much these post are so helpful 😢 I’ve been in such a financial crisis and these dupes help me still care for myself without braking the bank so thank you 😊

Please do Equate products, and I wish you had a Meijer close to you. They have a lot of name brand dupes as well.
Equate Sport SPF50 (Walmart) is a lighter feeling sunscreen compared to the Up and Up and leaves much less of a cast imo. :)

I love your videos but if you could show us the product and show how much of a white cast or just how it spreads and the texture that would be amazing! 😊
Love how detailed this video is, Dr. Dray! Thank you! Would love a similar video on Walmart's Equate dupes
Dr Dray, can you make some content discussing the community who claim sunscreen causes cancer? I always see videos about it on tiktok and it makes me nervous to use sunscreens.
She does have videos discussing studies and such about cancer and sunscreen fear mongering and so does Lab Muffin.
Oxybenzone ingredient is apparently carcinogenic that is in some sunscreens. Read ingredients. That's all we can do❤
I think it would be interesting to see how dupes for La Roche Posay stack up. I believe CVS or Walgreens have some.
I was so excited for those, but at my local cvs, the generic brand is literally $1 cheaper so I decided to just stick to the one by LRP for that price):
I have been using Up and Up Sport Sunscreen SPF 50 for a long time now. I really like it.
Thanks for listing the products Dr. Dray Have keratoconus so it was difficult to see the products. I am interested in a few of these dupes
Definitely check on the CVS and Equate brands!

I didn't realize that vitamins applied topically would be beneficial, very interesting!
I too was so very disappointed that Neutrogena has discontinued their oil free facial moisturizer. I have been using it since I was in college. 😢 I have tried other moisturizers but always came back to that one. Ugh!

Thanks for this, skin care is so expensive. I would like a reasonably priced Urea cream that doesn’t feel waxy on your skin. Kerasol is a bit pricey. In Dermatology we used lots of petroleum jelly post shave and punch bx.
The gold bond pure has urea and is really really nice!
@@annadorothygerard4010 thank you!
Thanks to your advice, I am in love with the Up and Up Advanced Moisture Lotion! This is the BEST! Thank you!
I love your vids but I'm wondering if you could mention if products are gluten free? I have celiac disease. Any cheap brands would be great. Thanks!
Thanks so much dr. Dray for all your wonderful suggestions. I will be getting the up&up for my son who has eczema.😊 have a nice weekend.😊
I like your channel and learned so much from you taking care of my over 50 skin.

Yes
do u still think that cosrx green tea gel cream is good ?
can you do ISDIN products big size fragrance free only overview
AWESOME ABSOLUTELY AWESOME BEAUTIFUL WORK DONE BY AN ANGEL.....THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...FOR THE GREAT ADVISE....
I use the Bioderma Sensibio micellar water but love the Abolene milky micellar water you featured a while back.
Great video, I appreciate all your hard work, testing all these products. I just don't shop at Target anymore. Many blessings!💖💖💖
I just watched this old video. Can you do an update of target skincare? I love your eye makeup, what is the shadow you’re using?
Happy Friday! Your videos are so informative for me. Just love watching and learning from you.
Hi dr dray❤ can you please tell the best time to take isotretinoin?
With food
@@DrDrayzday morning or evening?
This just goes to show not all products work for everyone because you still have mascara under your eyes after using micellar water, but I still have mascara under my eyes after double cleansing in the shower. Thankfully micellar water does not sting my face or eyes, and I will switch back to using only that after I empty the balm. :)
I enjoy watching your videos. Excellent content with science to back it up. I’m a nurse. What are your thoughts on Ponds cream? I’d purchased the Walmart brand. It’s very creamy and gets really white the more you try to rub it in. Once you let it sit the white cast goes away.
I've used the Up & Up CeraVe AM dupe for quite a while and haven't noticed a medicinal smell.
With the BP leave on acne treatment are you supposed to put it over or under moisturizer?
Can you review Walgreens? I was there this past weekend and noticed they have a bunch of store brand face sunscreens that are 70+ spf up to 110 and I don’t know if it’s actually worth it or not.
Love you recomendación , thank you so much .
I'd like to hear a review of this too!
Happy Friday you're my fav derm. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge on skin care/protection ♥️
Happy Friday
@Dr Dray can you use salicylic acid every day morning and night?
She covers this in her videos on SA and says you can depending on the product and whether or not it irritates you. Check out her video review on the cerave acne control products and a few shorts like, salicylic acid myth or how often should you use salicylic acid cleanser.
The Up and Up Advanced Repair lotion has been discontinued which is very unfortunate. Have you tried the Walmart equivalent Equate? Thanks
Have you tried the neutrogena hydro boost cleansing gel? That’s a nice second cleanser and is gentle on my skin.
