While everyone were getting ready for the party that's going to be hosted tonight, like Makoto and Sonia with the outfit, Yuta and Leon helping Hajime to prepare for the magic show, Maki making delicious plates and the others minding their own business, Nagisa asked Kaito if he could come with him and listen to him playing a song on the piano. Maybe, if he did more than perfect, he'll play a song after Hajime's magic show. Kaito gladly accepted Nagisa's offer and sat on the ground to listen to Nagisa playing. Kaito mostly expected Nagisa to play a childish song like these you'd see on a children's channel or something, basic. But when he started playing, the song wasn't something he expected. The rhythm was so beautiful and peaceful ( he was playing tears in heaven. Yes, random choice. But as a pianist myself I really loved playing this song when I used to play piano.. I'm a bias ). Something he didn't expect he'd hear, but he didn't hate it. He liked it and enjoyed it. All his attention was drawn on how Nagisa was playing this perfectly. Everything was going well, until he missed up a key accidentally. The mistake was almost nothing to anyone since it was too small to even notice, but for him it was unforgivable. Something he should- no.. must be punished for it. Must get hurt for it. Locked in a room for it starving with his piano until he learns from his mistake and never do it again. So, he stopped. He stopped playing. Back to Kaito, after Nagisa stopped, The cut seemed weird. Did the song end..? Obviously not. The ending didn't match. Why..? Kaito asked why did he stopped playing, and Nagisa's answer was just him extending his arm to Kaito. Expecting him to hurt him from that mistake that he should never do again. He was mentally prepared, prepared for a punishment. Also Expecting himself to not be allowed to go to the party because of this mistake. Nagisa told Kaito that he did a mistake, and it was obvious. Well, only to him tho. Kaito was too into the music to notice this small mistake. And told him he can punish him for it. Kaito sat there just confused yet concerned.. mistake?! He didn't even notice. Even if he did a mistake.. why? Why's be acting like if he did some kind of crimes?! Kaito reassured Nagisa and told him to not worry, the mistake seemed like a part of the song that he didn't even notice Nagisa missed up a small key. And even if he did a mistake, it's alright. Nothing's wrong with that and it's not the ending of the world if it wasn't 100% perfect. Nagisa stood there in.. confuse. He didn't expect this. He expected himself to be hurt. But he was left untouched. No way. His eyes widened and he remained silent. Very, silent. Which only made Kaito concerned. He asked Nagisa if he was alright, but no response. Until, the smaller boy's eyes were only streaming tears.
