For the life of me, I couldn't get the bus stop chicane nearly as fast as the AI with this setup. I lowered the spring weight settings by 20lbs on all for ends of the car and took a bit front weight off, and I was able to be SUPER aggressive over the curbs. 1:05.9 was the best I could crank out, and I got a picture of it too. This is stellar.
This setup is legendary! Used it in Xfinity on the hardest difficulty, qualified on pole and led every lap. Might be the first time I've ever done that.
MASSIVE thank you for this Set-up. Actually a Set-up that makes racing at the Glen fun again. I couldn’t ever find a good one for Heat 3 and 4, and I love this road course, but I just absolutely could not drive it. Now I have something I feel comfortable with that I can tweak a couple tiny things here and there if I so desire and it’s made it fun. Thank you so so much.
The only thing I would change is the brake bias down to 70% it makes the car brake a lot better, but it also makes the car a little bit unstable but it does make it faster if you have good experience
So idk why but my 4th gear is at 1.40 for the cup cars and I obviously can't change it so idk why it's glitches like hat but it's very time I go to he glen with a cup car

I looked on your websute and didn't find an xfinity setup for this track. Is it much different than the cup setup? The racing league I'm in doesn't allow for custom setups in races, so I was wondering how loose or tight you set the car up in the multiplayer lobby prior to race start. Thanks. (Once I get into the other league where custom setups are allowed, this will c0me in handy as I can get into the 1:10's) I've been practicing without a custom setup for an upcoming xfinity race on this track, and using your tips I've been able to improve my times, but only down to the 1:12's. I could probably tighten up a few things such as breaking the habit of braking and turning in turn 1, but I don't like riding in the runoff area, due to a lot of spins and slides going into it due to not being straight.
I don't have an Xfinity setup posted for this track, but I do run pretty much the same settings. I might be a little lower on the track bars for Xfinity, but I think it's pretty close.
Hey I have been using your setup for Watkins Glenn and in 4th gear it stalls and won’t go above 136 mph so I restarted the game same problem I turned off all aids and it won’t go above 130 what is wrong

@@daltonwhyel3383 I fixed it. For some reason when I copied the setup the 4th gear ratio somehow moved to 1.40, but when I set it to a preset and re-entered it, it reverted to 1.0 again, and it worked fine
I think the next gen update broke this setup. The 4th gear ratio is automatically set to 1.0 in this video, but 1.4 for me, and on track, i stall out in 4th gear no matter what
I actually like all of the road courses now. For a long time, I hated Mid Ohio and Sonoma, but once I finally figured out a setup for them, they are actually pretty fun to drive.
Hey my guy you are so wrong on that wedge the higher the number don't make it turn right your lower the number don't make it turn left you are misleading your lobby the Lord or number makes them rear end looser the higher the number makes the wedge rotate up to keep G-Force down on the rear end to keep it from sliding out stop misleading people
OK, let me try to explain wedge, and if I can't explain it, I'll provide a couple of links on wedge. If you still think it's wrong, you can go tell Larry Mac and the other NASCAR experts. Wedge adjustments either compress or decompress a spring on the car. If you compress one spring, let's say the right rear, you're changing how the weight of the car is distributed. It's the equivalent of having a four-legged table, with each leg representing a tire on a car. If you put a folded piece of paper under the right rear leg of the table, the table will wobble and be unsteady because the weight isn't distributed evenly. You've added how much weight is on the right rear leg of the table, and you've also added how much weight is on the leg that is diagonal from that leg, in this case, the left front leg of the table. The same thing happens when you adjust wedge in a race car, by compressing (or decompressing) one spring, you're adding (or reducing) weight to that spring and the spring that is diagonally opposite of the one you adjusted. This is why wedge is sometimes referred to as "cross weight". Now that we've established how wedge works, it should make sense that increasing or decreasing tension on one spring would have the opposite effect when you're turning left vs. turning right. Holy hell my guy nice set up only had to tune the rear springs and 2 clicks of wedge + I ran a 106.980 👏👊🏻
This was helpful, thought I was just making me lose then I realized my shifts were bad
Tips for any driver with issues, i lowered the wedge by .1 and the brake bias by 10 and went from a 1.07 to a 1.064 on my first lap
ran a 1:06.667 for my PB the other day, used the same one in xfinity and ran a 1:08.699, much appreciated it knocked chunks off my lap times

Same problem. I noticed that the 4th gear ratio for him is 1.00, but for me it's 1.40

I'm not sure what you mean by "race mode", but I've ran similar lap times in races when I don't have to deal with passing other cars.
