Hey man, there is a big map Made by some valheim content creators, rpg map which is huge and Will be awesome if You take a look of it, is very fun and diferent of a normal playthrough
I'm playing on normal mode, and seing the same thing over and over again: a Brute Dwarf was walking my base with yellow sign, and sometimes, attacked my crops and workbenches. The same was with green dwarfs that used their mass attack and killed all my precious onions that I planted after returning from the Mountains biome. Simple greydwarves are hilarious: they jsut running on my base from place to place and can't find an exit because there are light sources everywhere. I think that with things like these, we need a pet that will guard our base, like a petted boar that will attack greydwarves, or wolves.
The troll had no idea that one of the consequences of killing you would be enslavement as a copper miner. It's true when they say there's nothing scarier than a man with nothing to lose
When I learned to paddle more, sailing has become much much easier. When making sharp turns while paddling makes the backside of the boat swingen to the left and right without a lot forward or backwards movement, but this can help align your boat in tight spaces. Almost like parking in backwards in a siderow just with the pivoting point at the back instead front.
Great video and narration as always. Two tips for anyone who wants to try hardcore, one of which can still benefit you Oath if you decide to resurrect your character: Consider skipping Bonemass and using the stagbreaker to find silver. Silver is often found near mountain structures, and skipping the boss will eliminate wolf raids. When a vegvisir turns your character in the direction of a boss, use a build piece like a ladder and point it in that direction. When you head toward the boss and get turned around because of mob fights, the ladder will still always point toward the boss. This also works with vegvisirs in dungeons.
@@manguy01 After reading your comment, I decided to test this (5-1-24). The Stagbreaker still shows "Too Hard" when struck over a silver vein. You might be confusing the Stagbreaker with the Iron Sledge, which does indeed show "O" instead of "Too Hard."

In addition to the tips @henrywinckelmusic1177 which are a couple of the better fundamentals of HC to remember, I thought you might want to consider that - if the wind is not in your favor (you were struggling on your serpent hunt) you can just "oar" your boat. Instead of dropping your sails fully and cursing at the fates, only push W once so only one chevron is visible (and the rudder is being animated side to side) and your boat will slowly gain speed regardless of the wind then it maintains at least a tolerable speed until the wind direction changes. Lastly - you brought a finewood bow into the mountains, your best option is the "huntsman". Harvesting obsidian ASAP and making a batch of arrows with the huntsman will one or at least two shot most all wolves and drakes before they even see you. In HC, becoming overwhelmed or over confident (or both) are the #1 killers and when you can thin the surrounding population ahead of you, before charging in, your odds are greatly increased. There is no shame in sniping when the alternative is losing everything. My most successful HC games have all been focused around advancing from bow to bow even before armor. A dead critter 60 yards away is one that will never get to test your armor.
I love your content and your dedication, I enjoy valheim when I play it myself and even more when I watch you. Im seriously grateful for your effort and dedication you put into this, you couldve camped out and played it safe to reach day 100 but you managed to do MORE than I do when I play normally without any restrictions (no hardcore, map, no lost items). Congratulations! great video! can't wait to see the next 100 days... Btw Pro tips for finding your way back without a map is use Ygdrasil and the sun to see which way you're heading and bonfires on top of mountains and by the shore when you go sailing, building multiple of them is key
The use of the hoe for mapless navigation is a great idea - but if you right-clic and choose 'pathen', you can tamp-out paths without having all the terrain-modification that goes with it (which can be messy and also a pretty hefty load on the processor/memory)... just sayin ;) Definitely looking forward to the rest of this video (yeah, paused quickly to write this!) also, when sailing, if the wind is against you, just furl the sails up (since they're useless) and go forward by paddle (only one ^ ) until it changes direction.

Man... I cant believe Im saying this but you inspired me to do it. I played through Valheim many many times. It wasnt that fun anymore. Then you came with these challenges and I once again enjoy valheim as much as the first day I bought it. Me and my girlfriend started playing a couple months back, we set the world modifiers to easier combat + teleport everything since she played a video game for the first time and valheim on normal is insanely cruel to new people. We finished it pretty quickly and we stopped playing which made me sad since it was so quick. Then you uploaded this and we decided we are going to play again on normal mode + teleport everything. Now we are on our 4th playthrough, hard difficulty, normal portals. After we finish this one (which is already pretty interesting and tougher) we are going to hardcore with map. And then the finale - what youre doing right now. I cant wait to get there, we are having so much fun playing together just because you inspired us to make the game interesting again. I love these videos, all youve done was masterpiece and I enjoy all of it. Keep it up! Hopefully they will release ashlands asap so we can enjoy your new challenges!

good stuff. this playstyle forces you to rethink a lot of things:P my lessons from hard combat, no portal, no map.(ur insane playing hardcore) Armor is KING. trolls and anything else with 1-2 stars WILL one shot you and by far, the most annoying thing ever is not having access to a map. EVERYTHING else is annoying but not having a map will bring you close to insanity. not having a map changes SO many things from the vanilla settings. in fact im over day 300, finally made it to ML and I'm still learning how to adapt to not having a map. its frreaking HARD but challenging which is why I'm doing it. take ur time, have fun and never give up!
In my NoMap run I used the time to create my own irl. It was innacurate but good enough to know roughly where I was. Highly recommend the experience alongside the mod ValheimRaft
Haven’t watched an hour long video in a long time but massive respect for doing this grind. Immediately searched for a part 2! Get back on that horse son and ride into Valhalla.
I love your videos, how you play the game and how you talk. I'm watching this one for the second time now :P I espacially enjoy this one, I know its a lot of work but its worth it. Keep it up!
valheim is so unforgivable ive been playing for a few weeks and i started on a harder mode because i love survival games. After dying like 100 times in 2 days i lowered difficulty till i got a better understanding of game. im in swamps now and im goin to finish play through then do a hardcore run through
Excellent stuff. Really enjoyed it. I think you would be better served by putting up the blob head and using his power. It seems that some melee resistance would be welcome. Then again it would remove some og the difficulty. Anyway it was a great watch and I really want to thank you for all the hours of playing and editing you put in. Looking forward to the next episode.
Bro its been A WHILEEEE that ive been waiting for this but it seems like it will be worth it seeing this 1 hour video. pls make these a lot frequently itd be so nice
Oh my goodness!! This is an awesome vid! I laughed, I cried (figuratively), so good!! You, my man, are an excellent Valheim player and have more patience than I can ever imagine!! Excellent excellent quest & video. I am subbing bc it's well deserved!! ❤
I started a hardcore, but put on x3 resources and no build cost. Im past day 400 and its still pretty tough when I die to replace everything. I cant imagine HC with normal resources salute to you sir 😂
Wow! That entire video had parts of my anatomy clenched tight 😂😂 Insane challenge bud, thought you did amazingly well to make the progress you did, great fun to watch! 👍👍
im learning more on how to play valheim from you. I play casually and not that hardcore (i mean im on day 100+ and i still havent beaten the elder) since i have more fun that way but seeing your videos gives me ideas on how to progress the game faster
Tip regarding Stone Golems that are a pain, or used to be... A speedrunner showed how to deal with them... Dig a pit and use harpoon to drag it in, or if no harpoon... cover pit with wood floor and destroy it when it's on top of it...
Bro I couldnt help notice about the sailing and hating the wind part of the video, If you have it at a 1 speed just one notch up, you will speed up against the wind, might not be fastest, but sure in the hell faster than whatever you were attempting xD Great content keep it up can't wait for mroe ashlands content
40:30 You don't need wind to move the boat forward. Hit "e" on the rudder once until there's only one arrow pointing upwards. In this scenario you're manually moving the boat forward, albeit at a slow pace, but at least you're moving and don't have to wait for wind.
Jeez, watching the start of this gives me dread thinking about the speed of plains enemies, wolves, drakes compared to a 0 run skill... You're a beast for even continuing this for 100 days regardless of progress. Post watch: Tenacity. I was really rooting for the come back no-armour moder kill. Just one rogue golem. It's unlucky you didn't have the peace of mind to drop the fang but I froze up just watching! suggestion for the wolves: if you're going to do the 200d, keep the original two wolves back up in the mountains where they're relatively much safer. That way you're never forced to wait for the taming process again.
Solid try my dude, we with you all the way for the next 100! Tbh my nerves are shot and all i did was watch, and i dont even know how you have so much patience to keep trying. Id have tossed my pc out the window and taken up knitting or makrame or something far away from Valheim instead :P
little tip for everyvone who wants to try this challange you can build on cryptes des indestructebile and as soon as you in your house Notting will agro anymore
Hey this is exactly the kind of thing i want right now. No one is making hardcore no map no portals content and thats all i want. You should come back to this and get to the Ashlands. Real masochism my friend.
The progress you made was insane dude.. i would never even have made it out of the black forest, not a chance. I watched the pacifist video as well earlier and loved it. Ur awesome with these videos.
man you’ve been progressing well. i just hit day 228 and finally found bone mass in my no map hardcore mode. you’re making me want to stop playing so safe. i haven’t died yet i have enough iron saved up in case i do die and need to refit myself. i don’t know why i did this to myself since this is my first time playing. i think that’s why i’m so scared all of the time lol. i’ve never fought bonemass. i killed the elder on day 122
my first approach (after watching your run) was to explore the land by laying pathens and setting up signs on posts so i know exactly where i am. I name each new settlement i make with something quirky and i even draw a little map on paper. I start by cutting roads straight north till i hit either black forest or ocean. Then south. Then west. then east. I build quick bases at crossroads and each terminus of pathen. once i had all my gear leveled up, then i start cutting roads into large black forest areas. If you hit something like stone, ore, or trees, it signals to the surrounding mobs (by sound?) but they come running. So i take the time to build walls around each copper node so that if i do get swarmed, i am protected. This is how i will play, always a walled base close by to run to along a path. Running on Pathen is better stamina use, and its great for kiting trolls and other difficult mobs, and killing them with bow. As i go, i build out the bases that become the most convenient spot to work out of. Buliding up walls, archer towers, ditches. Another thing i like to do is use raise ground to build up little tunnel systems to hide in if flying mobs come by. You can kite them to your little tunnel thing (i build it up high in a cross shape, the cross being the tunnel with walls of dirt around it, with openings at the end of each cross arm) and since monsters cannot break dirt, this is a great way to deal with hard monsters without risk. Run in one entrance, run through to the other side, poke your head out and loose a few arrows, run back inside, go out another exit and plink away. rinse, repeat. I have to say, hardcore no portal no map has really changed my perspective on the game and i am enjoying the heck out of it. I have not died yet, and have copper armour and finewood bow so far, so i assume i will lose my mind on my first death, but so far, having a blast. Almost ready for the swamp.
Honestly the fact that you had both The Elder and Bonemass seemingly on the same island is super lucky. World gen hates me in games as both for me were on separate islands far from spawn and it took about 12 swamps (not kidding) to find one that had a crypt
i am still early in the video at like 12:27 and i gotta say, my man Eikthyr power in these fights would have saved your ass quite a bit, it was off of cooldown, having the stamina for a longer run maybe a bunch of extra rolls could have saved you a lot of pain and suffering, anyway i am going to continue watch you suffer for our sake, thank you for your sacrifices sir.
I saw your video and although you didn't manage to beat the moder, here's what you did I never could. Congrats I subscribed to your channel. 😊😊😊. Keep up the good work.
Great video, I love that we could really feel how annoyed and disappointment you felt with some deaths! I would never try anything like this, kudos to you! Is there a day 100-200 in the making?
Very entertaining. I can not imagine what you had to go trough. I'm such a filthy casual that I mode the base game to be easier not harder. =)) you are relaxing and interesting to watch! Subbed. PS if you just go with the boat at first speed you will still move forward faster cos your sails would not be up. first speed is row :D
It's so funny to watch videos that tells you how to improve your skills easilly, and then dy from grey dwarves stones, troll's clubs, and falling from the height because of the stun )))
I enjoy the way you talk about your progress but sometimes its frustrating how inexperienced you are at the game. You can right click with your hoe equipped to select pathen so it doesn't mess the floor up. You get lost way too often. When sailing against a headwind, hit forward once to keep the sails down and propel yourself with the udder. You should stock up on materials like bronze, trollhide or iron before you go explore so if you die you can make tools again and have back up armor. You head out to explore with a lvl 1 sword and bow. Pretty sure your shield was only lvl 1. You also over extend a lot. You should be making small huts along your way to keep your rested bonus up and to sleep when needed. No need to fortify and make a base each time you build. That's a lot of criticism but keep making videos. You have potential.

good stuff. this playstyle forces you to rethink a lot of things:P my lessons from hard combat, no portal, no map.(ur insane playing hardcore) Armor is KING. trolls and anything else with 1-2 stars WILL one shot you and by far, the most annoying thing ever is not having access to a map.
Get back on that horse son and ride into Valhalla.
i can tell this was very frustrating but as someone who doesn't even play this game much it was VERY interesting and you definitely have a new fan lol
I love your videos, how you play the game and how you talk. I'm watching this one for the second time now :P
I espacially enjoy this one, I know its a lot of work but its worth it. Keep it up!
Dude, this was amazing! You have the patience of a saint, I swear. I sure hope you post some follow ups, would love to see your progress!
Clicked on it because I love Valheim. Kept watching because you put OG Runescape music on. Fun idea I want to do it now. New sub, be well!
valheim is so unforgivable ive been playing for a few weeks and i started on a harder mode because i love survival games.
I always forget I have it anyways and end up never using it lol
Bro its been A WHILEEEE that ive been waiting for this but it seems like it will be worth it seeing this 1 hour video. pls make these a lot frequently itd be so nice
You NEVER disrespect the mosquitoes! Otherwise they'll get you when you're not looking... Great video!
This was brutal. Respect for not giving up.
Oh my goodness!! This is an awesome vid! I laughed, I cried (figuratively), so good!! You, my man, are an excellent Valheim player and have more patience than I can ever imagine!! Excellent excellent quest & video. I am subbing bc it's well deserved!! ❤
Oh man. AMazing video. I have had a lot of deaths in hardcore and your deaths made me feel better!
these are some of the best valheim videos i’ve seen and the commentary is hilarious. godspeed good sir
im learning more on how to play valheim from you.
I play casually and not that hardcore (i mean im on day 100+ and i still havent beaten the elder)
since i have more fun that way but seeing your videos gives me ideas on how to progress the game faster
Tip regarding Stone Golems that are a pain, or used to be...
A speedrunner showed how to deal with them...
Dig a pit and use harpoon to drag it in, or if no harpoon... cover pit with wood floor and destroy it when it's on top of it...
This was so enthralling to watch. You're a legend for doing this
Liked for the music, stayed for the content. Keep it up Haunted!
heyyy, thats what i did with the hoe to make base to base trails! You can also right click and "pathen" without a bench though haha
Bro I couldnt help notice about the sailing and hating the wind part of the video, If you have it at a 1 speed just one notch up, you will speed up against the wind, might not be fastest, but sure in the hell faster than whatever you were attempting xD Great content keep it up can't wait for mroe ashlands content
that boat segment was so frustrating, Just PADDLE bro!!! however 10/10 video andgreat effort dude, hope you have another crack at it :)
Hahaha that must have been so hard. Loved it! Maybe the best Valheim content on the internet.
I want you to know that all your troubles and time to make this video all came to turn out to be a great and very entertaining video! Great content
40:30 You don't need wind to move the boat forward.
Hit "e" on the rudder once until there's only one arrow pointing upwards.
In this scenario you're manually moving the boat forward, albeit at a slow pace, but at least you're moving and don't have to wait for wind.
That is what i wanted to say
This was the best valheim. Idea I’ve seen ever. Good job!
This was a fantastic video! Imagine watching unedited let's plays. Well done!
@ 7:41 laughed when greydwarf strolls in the home like,
“Hey doors open, see u soon” 😮
Best hour 9 minutes with 46 seconds of Valheim I have watched! Thank you!
I pray you've learned how to use ships since this video lol. Loving it so far
I was supposed to go bed and I watched the whole thing
So painful to watch - all those deaths! I really enjoyed the video though. Thanks!
Hey this is exactly the kind of thing i want right now. No one is making hardcore no map no portals content and thats all i want. You should come back to this and get to the Ashlands. Real masochism my friend.
hardCore Valheim is so crazy. i dont know how anyone could play this in the Ashlands W/o chesse
The progress you made was insane dude.. i would never even have made it out of the black forest, not a chance.
I watched the pacifist video as well earlier and loved it. Ur awesome with these videos.
man you’ve been progressing well. i just hit day 228 and finally found bone mass in my no map hardcore mode. you’re making me want to stop playing so safe. i haven’t died yet i have enough iron saved up in case i do die and need to refit myself.
i don’t know why i did this to myself since this is my first time playing. i think that’s why i’m so scared all of the time lol. i’ve never fought bonemass. i killed the elder on day 122
But you didn't die? On your first playthrough? On hardcore? You're insane man
my first approach (after watching your run) was to explore the land by laying pathens and setting up signs on posts so i know exactly where i am.
Another Haunted Oath video! They are rare but always good value. Keep up the good work!
Amazing video, definitely enjoyed it. One minor thing though, two star drugr does eat the king of the swamp for breakfast😊
Love your videos and been waiting for a long time for the next one!
Thanks! Glad you enjoy em :)
Absolutely love this ! makes me play Valheim again! nice challenge :D
Honestly the fact that you had both The Elder and Bonemass seemingly on the same island is super lucky.
World gen hates me in games as both for me were on separate islands far from spawn and it took about 12 swamps (not kidding) to find one that had a crypt
Loved to see all the strats and determination to continue onwards, despite the game brutally messing you up. I might attempt this myself now :D
The cursed forest. I feel you 😅
i am still early in the video at like 12:27 and i gotta say, my man Eikthyr power in these fights would have saved your ass quite a bit, it was off of cooldown, having the stamina for a longer run maybe a bunch of extra rolls could have saved you a lot of pain and suffering, anyway i am going to continue watch you suffer for our sake, thank you for your sacrifices sir.
this was such a fun watch and now im going on valheim because i have that itch for it now
I saw your video and although you didn't manage to beat the moder, here's what you did I never could. Congrats I subscribed to your channel. 😊😊😊. Keep up the good work.
I literally burst out laughing when i saw you at the boat, using full sail against wind
The dying and starting again must have been infuriating but it was a blessing to watch you perseve through every set back. Easy sub from me
Great video, I love that we could really feel how annoyed and disappointment you felt with some deaths! I would never try anything like this, kudos to you! Is there a day 100-200 in the making?
Yeah I also found myself enthralled with this, great video dude 😊
I'm usually a 10 min top video kinda guy 😂😂
Finally got the change to watch this, this is great as always and I'd love to see you continue it!
Holy crap lol, I just jumped from your pacifist run to this video and you sound so much more confident and older! I’m excited to see how far you get 😼
I’m usually down for challenge modes but after watching this, I’m gonna pass
And all that without activating windows. What a king!
Very entertaining. I can not imagine what you had to go trough. I'm such a filthy casual that I mode the base game to be easier not harder. =)) you are relaxing and interesting to watch! Subbed. PS if you just go with the boat at first speed you will still move forward faster cos your sails would not be up. first speed is row :D
oh my god watching you try to sail with your sails up in no wind is driving me insane. You get crazy good control on the first forward setting
Great video! Hope for 2nd part 😅 I had so great time watching this video
ive been itching for good valheim videos and you nailed it. thanks bro!
Almost unreal how much Luck you have finding the boss locations xD
LMAOOO hijm finding the howling cavern while having literally no idea abt hilder or anyting is funny asf
It was so painful to see how little he used Eikthyr too
