Classic hollywood
Ahh yes, more male lies :) ;)
I'm 20 but would get with Liam Neeson any given day of the week ;_;
+Mona I. You are beautiful
dont tell
I have never watched a movie like this
What did you think of it? 🍿
Only confusing thing about the movie is Mila Kunis was in New York and working a hotel in Paris
I thought I was the only one confused.Still have no clue of what has happened
I thought the same thing
cause mila's and Adrien's character are imaginaries of Liam's writing
One of the best movies I've ever watched
I agree loved it
Really good movie, dark and confusing, but such a clever one!
The ending is so confusing......
That's an awesome cast!
Excellent words from Liam's publicist, it went more or less like this: "Your first book was very good; your second one, not so good, now you lost it"...
just watched this. i must say it is awesome!
Yes it is.
hey guys, i really need someone to explain the movie to me! i watched it but idk im still confused im not getting it :( please?
Watch between 18-24 seconds that is what you need to understand.
alantupadre Thank you! Now it all makes sense!
+alantupadre Love the way you explained. I loved the moved too. Really nice cast and acting.
I found it more like a personality disorder built
by the death of his son.
and he just went with it and wrote about....hint all those
bottles of prescriptions drugs.
+VanaFanta she says ''watch me'' at the end because she gets to find out the truth that it was her fault that his son died.. she also became shocked because she realizes that he's writing about her and the situation between her and her father and comes to the conclusion that he was just using her as he used everyone else in his life to create his own story.. As his wife said that he really doesn't feel a thing for people
I am confused watching the trailer, is the movie going to be any more confusing?
Is anybody else watching this trailer after the movie to see if you can get a grasp of what the f#ck just happened? Can't afford have 2hrs of my life gone to waste -.-
+SonyX the problem its not about wasting time its all about did anyone can told us wtf is happen at the end ?! the only thing that i figure it out is the all characters in the movie that they are in his story am i right ?
SonyX I feel u, i even searched the movie in wikipedia to see if they could make me understand the movie
the same ...
Based on the movie....and as for the ended ....The writer Liam Neeson character has written 3 stories but the last story which tells Oliver Wild character story is the 1 story that tickled his agent so he kept that 1. And sent it to his wife and she gave it a pass. I analyzed the movie and figured that his son told him to 'watch me'
but he took a call from his mistress and his son drowned. He could forgive himself so he moved away.
And tried writing about it but never writing the true story. After his agent told him how he really felt about his previous drafts,
he then wrote the correct story line. After his wife spoke with him she asked him to come home and he said he couldn't.
He's clearly filled with guilt. So he's going to publish the final story and maybe the guilt will diminish
I actually like this movie because it doesn't underestimate the intelligence of the viewer
Am I the only one that thinks he published the story about Anna and her father as a revenge ? Because she was the one who called him and because of that phone call his son was drawn ?
One of the best movies I've seen.
I thought I'm the only who can't get it...
I liked it too although it wasn't a box office success
Doesn't need to be
What's the title of piano song?
where can i see the full movie
the trailer gave the ending away for me. they made it way too obvious, so the ending wasn’t a shock to me
I dont get it:|
So basically Liam is the writer, everyone else are his characters and their story. And Liam is pushing away his family
I liked it too although it wasn't a box office success
This looks amazing
What's Liam Neeson's time-frame in this?
alguien se sabe la cancion electro por favor
I do like the score of it!
Nice movie
CANT WAIT
link with the movie online please :) !
Have you found it somewhere online ?
love it
Anyone know the song in the backround????
Wow! Must see.
+Amy Pellegrini That accounted also for the final recommendation of the Spielberg movie.
Is his child dead? i mean all stories that he wrote are telling about his child, who seems to be dead, because he wasen`t there or something, or he was reckless? But i`m not sure.... so if someone has other opinion pls write. :) Anyway its a good movie.
he's child did die and his way of dealing with it was through writing about all of these characters.
+VanaFanta i think Anna was his child that he tried to save in one of the stories. She was not real. She was "third person". I think she cried and ran away and disappeared because all those illusions that he created to deal with what happened disappeared when he finally admitted to himself what has actually happened and then he was ready to come back home.
that's a good news Valery - the Edgardo Mortara case it will be a wonderful movie, hope they will stay close with the really event and story of the church in that period of "Italy"
the name of the piano music pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
I had been searching for the tunes for so long and I had to wait almost a year. It's finally out. I just downloaded it in fact.
The names of the songs are;
Dario Marianelli - No One Ever Called Me That, and the other one you hear at the end is called Julia. It's by the same composer.
You're welcome. Enjoy.
Akanksha Chandel thank you so much for your help i really appreciate it
Sure thing. 😊
It’s Oliver! Oliver Crouch!
what's the background music name?
***** thank you :)
its a good movie, but like it seems a bit sexist towards men
does anyone know the song in the background?
Why at the end she is crying ? I don't understand! Heeeeeeeeelp
***** i think he betrayed her because he was writing about her in his book, about her weird relationship with father. If i remember good, his wife mentioned something about that in their conversation
she cries reading his diary because she found out that she was the person who called him while the boy is in the pool
Harry potter would kick captain americas ass any day, for christs sake he has got the force, so shut up about gandalf being the most powerful in the x-men. *grabs kryptonite*
i was so confused at the ending of this movie.. great movie tho.. a lot of seduction that makes your pores raise
Taken 4??!!
total waste of time
Yes you are!
This movie SUCKED!!! What a waste of time!!!
Dianne Davies You're just too dumb to udnerstand it.
TheLondonCyclist He is right it sucked lol
This is a very bad movie, how can people keep on writing so depressing movies as if real life itself were not enough?
And please don't make spectators look stupid by saying that "you should go to the movies with your brains to understand it"!
Perhaps it can only be written or understood by troubled people. Unnecessary scenes troubling all personages; a cold woman who needed to have sex with or at least intimately touched with by her father when she felt insecure, restless characters taking sleeping pills, drinking, voluntarily getting involved with useless/dirty/dangerous people from the mafia, prostitutes, and being so stupid that hurts watching.
It is a waste of time. You do not get anything good, productive, from this movie.
Just read Your comment. You do realize that this movie was about a writer trying to save his child that drowned in the pool. He does that in his book with three scenarios. They were all fake. What counted was him, his wife and their child. Everything else was him trying to deal with reality of what happened and trying to accept. After his sons death he ran away from home, sat and just wrote. Have you noticed the cigarettes, wine and drugs (probably from depression) in the first scene with the writer in a dark room? "Watch me" were probably the last words his child told him. And they haunt him. So, hope that cleared all that up.
This comment was a bigger waste if time written by a waste of space. F off!!
Nice movie
