Our 7-Day Swiss Adventure
Day 1-4: Zermatt
We kicked off our Swiss adventure with four incredible days in Zermatt. The picturesque village, nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn, offered breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. We spent our days biking through scenic trails, shopping in charming boutiques, and taking countless gondola rides to soak in the stunning alpine landscapes. The highlight was undoubtedly the hikes, where each trail revealed more of Zermatt’s natural beauty.
Day 5-7: Grindelwald
Our journey continued to the beautiful village of Grindelwald. For three days, we immersed ourselves in outdoor activities, enjoying the thrill of biking and the tranquility of hiking through lush meadows and rugged mountains. The gondola rides provided a unique perspective of the majestic surroundings, and we loved every moment of exploring this enchanting place.
From start to finish, our trip was filled with adventure, stunning views, and unforgettable experiences. We are excited to share our journey with you and hope it inspires you to embark on your own Swiss adventure.

That sign on the hiking trail outside of Glacier Canyon in Grindelwald was written in German and French before English haha. Great video capturing such a memorable trip!

Great video. This is almost our exact same itinerary, going the first week of August. Ironically we were supposed to go the week before you, but flight got cancelled at last minute and we had to reschedule, which was a blessing in disguise because the weather looked awful.

The Hotel looks lovely. I notice you are calling it the Backstreet Hotel when the name says Backstage Hotel. Seems live a very expensive hotel. Internet search shows a single room being $1,000 AUD per night!
