Volkraptor is utilized to cause Physical down accumulation. The true damage that you do is equitable to the amount of Down Accumulation you provide on applicable target areas. So weak point areas that register physical down will get 1.5x.

I have been using partisan when the lvl cap was at lvl45 and I have to say I liked it a lot. Sword is way too boring imo right now in NGS. You can do all sorts of fun and interesting combos that leave a big WTF moment. "I can do that move with this move o.O". I messed up (more like forgot to add lol) the Skill tree by not adding any of the counter points which lead me to rage with counter i-frames. Its fixed now though but that was so embarrassing.

Partisans a lot more unique and I think that's what a lot of players are into. Unique stuff lol but yea understandable!

DON'T use javelin on downs, its just wasting pp
You allways better of with charged tornado 2x (1 extra uncharged as some windows allows) into skip arts
Or tornado>scythe>N4 its better burts damage on short downs
Remember, for every javeling holder a cat dies
