Just saw them live in orlando yesterday they were very loud but genuinely they got some of the best showmanship of any band I've ever seen. They radiate this fun and playful energy that you can't help but get sucked into even if you're in a bad mood. I hope to see them next time they come to America hopefully with ear protection this time cause my ears are still ringing from the show.

It's funny how evey now and then a band comes along that somehow makes every other band seem irrelevant. I imagine seeing Otoboke Beaver is how people felt the first time they saw Sex Pistols. Except they've been playing for years and have perfected their craft without diluting how unbelievably authentic they are. They're just so f*cking real.

This is a great video of them! Cool to see Yoyoshie in the foreground; usually Acco is the primary focus (of course... lead singer.) I doubt there's a live band anywhere that could blow them off of the stage!

I love this band so much but as a guitarist I particularly love Yoyoyoshie. She’s so unique, she doesn’t play the guitar like anyone else. She clearly using an open tuning, I’d like to know exactly how she’s tuned her guitar.
