Strymon's "Multidimensional Modulator" is a really nice box of tricks for anyone wanting to explore a wide range of different modulation effects. They say "We have been dedicating ourselves to forging a collection of the most organic, luscious, expressive, and versatile modulation effects ever heard." For the price of 2-3 individual pedals, it's a great option for exploring different tonal possibilities.
