These are very unique and musical sounds, unlike the nasal drones a lot of people squeeze out of CS synths on UA-cam. It’s too bad you can’t create sound banks for CS poly synths. I’d buy this one if it existed.

@@HotStrange Hydrasynth = Poly AT at an affordable price. I get a Roli Seaboard Grand in order to use it with my Schmidt 8 Voice, as it can interpret the ploy AT commands of the Roli. It was a nearly 30 grand attempt to create something comparable to my CS-80's. It came up short. Now with the Hyrdasynth, having the poly AT and a nice sounding digital synth chassis, you cannot go wrong for what they managed to stuff into that synth.. I can't wait to hear compositions with it. Everybody these days uses step sequencers etc, but it'll take playing to get the most out of the Hydrasynth. I just subscribed to Alphacode, and will do so with you to hear what you come up with. The Synthesizer Grouch Thank you! I ended up selling my hydra unfortunately (2nd baby on the way and had to downsize) but definitely plan on adding it again once we get a new house. Even back then there was some kind of FM-flavour in the synth. I suppose it's ring modulation.

Speculation. Just bought one with somme issues 200€ ! I'm going to repair it ! I've also repaired a CS70m bought with many issues !
