- Some steps of homemade WMO centrifuge construction.
If you're looking for an affordable and eco-friendly way to clean waste motor oil, you'll want to watch this video! We'll show you how we made a homemade WMO centrifuge using an old discarded stainless steel boiler and an electric motor salvaged from an old grinder. You'll see step-by-step how the old metal is machined and re-welded to create the centrifuge. We source most of the parts from a metal scrap yard. Not only is this a great way to repurpose old materials, but you'll also save money while doing your part for the environment.

❤❤ Love This thank you for sharing and taking us along!!
Thanks a lot for your interest and comment.
Hi Alek I’m glad I found your other channel!! I watch you wmo still videos all the time I study how you do things. You are our wmo still guru. Thanks for all you share. I must have watched your bbq still video 15 times already. Wmo and plastic is such a fantastic resource, but folks don’t think about it that way here in California. They see it all as evil, plastic bad, cars bad diesel bad, solar and wind powered 18 wheelers oh so good !! Ya the folks running this state are so crazy in their watermelon ideology!!
Thank you for your interest. Given the current events, I believe it's crucial for us to explore methods to convert old civilization waste into a useful energy source, ensuring sustainability in the face of possible doomsday scenarios resulting from economic and logistical collapse. I am conducting experiments to gain knowledge that could prove invaluable in challenging times.
Please don't worry about politicians; they often talk about green energy while flying on private jets and have already secured their luxury bunkers equipped with diesel generators and enough diesel storage to last for decades. It's essential to prioritize your own well-being. Gain knowledge, conduct experiments, and make mistakes while you still can.
Love the Music, Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for your interest.
Awesome. I will be using a small water cooled diesel. Self contained. Product driven.
Great idea!
Is it possible to use a milk separator instead of this device?
This device evaporates water and catches heavy inclusions, thus filtering oil and removing dirt. A milk separator separates water from fat, thus it will not keep mechanical inclusions or tar, so if your intention just to separate water from contaminated oil, then milk separator will work.
The master amazing work as always any thought to Melting aluminum and casting aluminum bowls and sand and machining them down lightly
Hi, yes, thought about casting aluminum, but it is easier for me to machine it out of readily available stainless parts.
I am the typical one who is going to give the opinion if no one asks me. I see that you have a powerful lathe, perhaps it can be used as a centrifuge by adapting a container and a collector counter container, horizontal drip loading at high revolutions is possible
Thank you very much for your advice, it sounds good, but the high revolutions are no more than 1500rpm. This can be compensated by using a larger bowl, but running a centrifuge with a lathe is like using a semi-truck to go grocery shopping - it involves too many gears and is wasteful in terms of power consumption and machine work time accumulation. A dedicated centrifuge is a small device with a low wattage, but a high-revving capable electric motor, suitable for processing the appropriate flow for the size of the device. In any case, thank you for your comment.
I'm glad I found this after watching it being used for diesel
Why you drill drain holes in the inner "bowl"?
To drainn the waste after it stops, and it directed into a separate line from the cleaned product.
@@dryindustrial.3028 thanks!!
I live in New Zealand, how much to make me one
Never built them for sale yet, what is your location (town)
@@dryindustrial.3028 first time for everything 😎 I’m close to Christchurch
@@ImportJunkyz I am in Australia still, will be back soon, then we can discuss.
@@dryindustrial.3028 i am thinking an old torque converter for a large truck will be a good starting point for the centrifuge as its already balanced
@ImportJunkyz it could be way too heavy
