    This was a really informative and well-documented video. You are the first person that Ive seen do the reverse feeding in this type of experiment meant and the results are pretty good. Thanks for sharing.

      Try a good Quality pellet like Hikari vibra bits or Fancy Guppy. I found that the pellets outperformed the live brine shrimp. Great Video.

    As always great video and experiment! I wish you divided the live brine shrimp guppies group into half and continue one half with brine shrimp and the other switch to flakes, so we can see what will be the outcome of the guppies on full live brine shrimp. Thanks for an amazing video!

    Very interesting experiment. I guess most fish breeders would agree that BBS is the best food for fish fry. However, I certainly didn't expect such a difference in growth rates. The experiment would have been even better if BBS would have been compared to leading fry food brands such as Hikari First Bites.

    A great experiment, and another great video, as always!
    I was curious, however- with the constant feeding of hatched brine shrimp, do you have to change the water more frequently to keep the tanks or tubs from getting too saline? I understand that brine shrimp need certain parameters to hatch so was curious how it worked.

      Hello. There are many videos on brine shrimp. But,basically, I pour the brine shrimp into a net. Then run fresh water over the shrimp to rinse them off. Then I feed the guppies.

      You canfilter and rinse the hatched brine shrimp if you are hesitant. But in my experience It's okay to pour the brine shrimps water as I also dose my tubs some salt every now and then.

    Ideally, how many tanks should a guppy breeder have for just one guppy type? (for fry, quarantine, male/female etc.).

      In general, you'll need tanks for:
      Tank 1: Breeding.
      Tank 2: Growing out babies until you are able tell male and female apart.
      Tank 3: Grow out Males.
      Tank 4: Grow out Females.
      Can also have tanks for quarantine and culls.

    Like flakes, BBS, blood worms ( frozen) .....lets see what will be the difference

    if just for hobbist its ok. because brine shrimp cost you a a lot. in here guppy price is cheap 0.5 $ can get a pair.

      @@HawaiiHobbyist I read that at least five meals pre day for baby fish grew them the best. Maybe do another text feeding them more times per day.
