Have you gotten an opinion from Dr. Henry Friedman at Duke? He is well known for brain tumors and thinks out of the box. There's a 60 minutes interview with him from awhile back that may be online.
Are you speaking of Allan Friedman the surgeon out of Duke? That’s actually who did Kyle’s second surgery back in 2004 and we are planning to get his eyes on Kyle’s case!

I knew there was a 2nd friedman there, but didn't know he was a neurosurgeon until i just looked it up. Henry Friedman is who is in the 60 minutes story. He thinks out of the box. He did trials using polio to target GBMs. It was very interesting. Had some long term survivors, maybe cured. I saw that on a different new story. I've heard nothing but excellence about him. I told a friend who's husband had a recurrent tumor many years prior, like your husband. She credits him for saving his life. If it were me, that would be the first place I'd go.

I am on abemaciclib for breast cancer and it also destroyes your stomach with diarrea, one thing (and the only thing) that has helped me is having the tablet with mashed potato. The instant one, Idahoan. It helped trenendously. Good news about the shrinkage!

@@SimplyRachelOBare sometimes we have to trust our gut and what we see happening rather than the medical " evidence". The doctors only see Kyle for a few minutes when you consult but you are with him 24/7. As for test results, they are sometimes a grey area, open to interpretation . Like in this case.

Truly a rollercoaster! We learned an important lesson always have another set of eyes on the case. We might actually start seeing here for the first round of MRI readings to help us feel more confident from the start!

His blood has been drawn and is being processed now. We have been told that it will take about three weeks to spin the blood and get it ready for reinfusion. 🥰 Has this neurooncologist said anything about the gas o he wears on his head? I don’t think you can count those out..
