As someone who spent almost their entire childhood within sight of the Coningsby perimeter fence, i never get tired of watching these aircraft. Great video
What a fantastic airplane! I saw them on a Red Bull airshow in Austria 🇦🇹 Europe. The Austrian Army pilots showed their skills and it was great! We could see Spitfires, a Hurricane, a Mustang, a Me 109, a Me 262 and so on ….. Greetings from Linz Austria 🇦🇹 Europe! 😎👍💪🍀🌞🍺🐺
Great spectacular landing. I watched Chris Yeo in DA05 doing the same thing at Warton when the test programme was running. Respect to the current pilots but he was a legend
Ooooohhhh yeah 🤙🏼 Paddy performed not only a fantastic display but this was the best landing we’ve ever seen. Apologies for the recording skills, it was a nikos first month with the camera he has today and how he’s improved 🤙🏼💜
That was so smooth I can't help but wonder if Paddy actually knew himself the moment his wheels made contact ! That was so good I had to watch it repeatedly.
Agreed, the landing was exceptional! The aircraft was in a stall as it came in to land, then the nose gently rotated forward to restore lift as the wheels touched down. Perfectly executed.
@@1dash133 . I'll be gentle because I'm guessing you are about 10. The approach speed of any aircraft is 1.2 x stall speed . You do not stall it onto the runway - you could easily lose your life . Your second statement is also incorrect .
@@robd2184 This was anything but a normal landing. I'd argue that it was a controlled stall. You're free to believe that he landed the plane on normal approach.
Great skills from a great pilot. Im sure we all said when Sainty did the performance how do you follow that? Along came Paddy and he showed us how, now its the turn of Brighty and from what Ive seen he has got this covered. When Anarchy1 call sign is heard you know you are in for a a performance of ballet, rock n roll and sheer poetry in motion. 🥰 Thanks for the journey back to where it all started for me , Cosford , Blackpool air shows and the TCS channel where the many videos Ive seen are just like being there on the day .
Oiii ooiii Viv 🤙🏼 This landing many people missed as soon as they knew the display was over. It almost caught us out too and I had my TedCam at the ready. This was the first month of the camera nikos has today and how he’s improved since then. We can’t believe we captured this impressive landing and has to be the best we’ve ever seen oooohhhh yeah. As for Brighty, he’s already earned LEGEND status. Sainty and Paddy are remarkable pilots and gave us the joys of what we all love. Brighty keeps that going. These 3 amazing pilots give those tingles when we hear the callsign ANARCHY1
My cousin worked on these (can't remember the squadron number but I'm sure it was "fighting cocks" with roosters on the tail of the planes) He said the pilots thrashed them, broke them, then complained when they were grounded for repairs. Techs done the work, pilots got the glory.
How fast will the Typhoon have been going or could have been going, when it first comes into shot? I'm guessing the limitation in speed will come from how quick you can scrub speed off before the end of the runway as you pass over and into the lift, climb, roll, inversion descent and make sure you don't hit the hard stuff?
Excellent manoeuvre. Should leave that in the display. There is an emergency landing procedure called 'the teardrop' One that the Reds fly. On departure they can return in the opposite direction in a teardrop shape. That could mean a tailwind of course. Great video and CCs boss. Nikos ' camera skills have improved greatly. Promote him to corporal. 😅 PS He remembered to call 'gear down' too. Excellent! 👍
Oiii oiiii Gazza It has to be the best landing we’ve ever seen and couldn’t believe it that this was the landing! Amazing. A few missed it but I had my TedCam at the ready. Didn’t know that about the Reds wow this sounds interesting and something we need to have a look. Thank you. Yes it’s all about learning everyday and practicing to make it perfect. It’s all about the CCs. Oooohhhh yeah and yes he remembered to call “gear down”. Paddy, another sensational RAF pilot 😍
The Typhoon display at Kemble Airshow in 2007 ended with the pilot landing the same as seen here. Mighty impressive way to arrive on terra firma. Great video btw.
Not bad. So I'm on top deck of a bus going past yon side of scampy, rounding corner on brow of hill, ground level now at eye level. What do I see but a single headlight of a red arrow flying super low at my eye level headed straight at us. (Blamb got me) Windows were open and jet with smoke on flew straight over (whoosh!) and smoke enters open windows filling top deck. Wow! Great timing by pilot. Happened long time ago like late 90's. Makes those rusky drone swipers look like total noobs.
I've seen French Rafale Pilots perform the same manoeuvre. I guess it is a way to disperse the energy from.a high speed approach rather than performing a Standard Circuit .....
Of the 1000s of Typhoon landings we’ve seen live stream and non live, this was the only landing quite like it, no final approach, no ILS, just speed, rolls and very high key and into the perfect touch down
everyone talks about , best plane , who's got what , ours is better than yours .....but ......you wouldn't want to see that on your six would you ???????
Tremendous landing. Must be such a delight to get to see it in person.
Oiii oiii Ivan 🤙🏼 this was phenomenal
That was an absolutely perfect landing ❤
That landing had so much butter that it covered my toast for a week
Beautiful maneuver! Steep climb/barrel rolls into an inverted dive in line with the runway. I haven't seen many of these jets fly, but I'm hooked!
That set up was a proper flex. The typhoon is such a great looking aircraft.
Ooohhh yeah 🤙🏼well said
Split "S" onto short final.... LOVE IT♥
Beautiful aircraft. Great flying. Fun to watch. Thanks for showing us how good these folks really are.
Oiii Oii Robert 🤙🏼
One hell of an arrival and the landing was just peachy.

If only all our holiday jet liner landings were that good. No spilled gin and tonics! Oh.......yeah!

Good landing, but you don’t stall a jet fighter onto the ground, or even a Cessna.

Lucky to catch some Typhoon's playing when we were in Sardinia last year, they spent what seemed like 30 minutes chasing each other through the clouds
Quality landing, great piloting skills 👌🏻

I wonder how many times that was practiced in the sim before the real deal?

Why haven't I ever seen a typhoon doing a cobra maneuver ? 🤔

Greased it.
Saw this done at Leuchars years ago. It's just brilliant.
Jet noise, the sound of overtime
French Rafale do this in airshow :)
I've seen French Rafale Pilots perform the same manoeuvre. I guess it is a way to disperse the energy from.a high speed approach rather than performing a Standard Circuit .....
It's not a standard maneuver. The normal way to burn off energy while remaining within perimeter defenses, is the run and break.
