A lot of pure goregrind-heads have this idea that speed is the only factor in making something so-called "brutal", which is just not the case.

FYI - Carcass have a compilation album from 1996 (after their breakup) titled 'Wake up and smell the Carcass'... w/ a cover photo of JFK's autopsy after his assassination 😬 Most of those morbid photos were taken from books published about medical autopsies.

I had an Anal Blast long sleeve shirt that was so "graphic" I couldn't really wear it anywhere. I can't even find any images of it online. Lets just say "SCAT" means something entirely different to some people.
I love all genre of music, metal and classical are at the top of my list. Black and funeral doom are my favorite subgenres. I say this just to let you know that while I enjoy the world of grindcore and gorecore that they are not my focus. Amazingly I listened to this album earlier in the week for the first time. I enjoyed it representation in the goregrind category. I thought it had some fairly impressive pig squeals. "Liquidized Disgorgement was my favorite song on here. I listened to it on Spotify, so I don't own it, but it is in my library. The winner in my CD collection for most obscene and so far the hands down winner of most obscene album is A**l C**t's(often referred to as AC for the same reason I didn't fully spell out their name for fear of getting the message booted) "It Just gets Worse" album. With 39 tracks its' run time is 32'15" and the song titles say it all. " "I Snuck a Retard into a Sperm Bank," "Women: Nature's Punching Bag" and "I Ate Your Horse" are song titles I selected to give some concept of the album's material but wouldn't get the comment blocked. I can play the album around people due to the fact that they are singing so fast, you can only understand the lyrics if you are reading them. I am about to listen to Yo-Yo Ma's "Haydn: Cello Concertos" I have Yo-Yo Ma's 90 CD box set. My musical ta locked upstes are not completely demented, I just can appreciate very different styles of music. And the number of disclaimers in the comment indicate the difficulty of discussing goregrind without sounding like you should be locked-up for life.

Seems a bit degenerate, "goregrind", I can tell this is something that sounds kinda dumb, perhaps skip. The proliferation of subgenres is sometimes unwieldy, but can you cover war metal? I mean for example Blasphemy, the quintessential example. But Proclamation which can almost be called like a Blasphemy tribute, they are a good example imo of the "black war metal", particularly the song Nocturnal Damnation, and that album, moreso than Advent of the Black Omen. Revenge, has like two songs worth listening to: Genocide Conquest and Hate Oath; you can't really listen to more than two because it gets boring or bewildering. It's not a practical style, but as I say I think Blasphemy and sometimes Proclamation did it well. 👍
The "Odin" album by Wolfslair (Denmark) is a pretty good one too, in terms of war metal. It's heathen/paganist in concept instead of satanic and interesting in its own right.

LDOH is honestly my favorite band and they have a ton of releases before "The sound of rancid Juices sloshing around your coffin". Hymns of Indigestible suppuration is better album overall. Oh yeah check out Face by Cakewet, Has a female vocalist and is pretty damn good as well 2 Minuta Drekka or Rompeprop are good as well or of course CBT!!!
