These include: + Tachanka E2 skin actually has a classic barbed wire underneath him, a usual gadget in R6 + All the Collab operators are actually physical damage dealers except for Tachanka's fire grenades (duh, keeping true to them being shooters) + Reinforcing the sanddunes is similar to making reinforcements on walls in Rainbow Six Siege + Arknights' event storyline bringing in additional characters like Ela and Iana at the start (and I think at the final part of the event's story) + Serious accuracy of the voicelines in the Rainbow Six characters + How an entire original story about a mad lab scientist was created that also makes it sensible for why the R6 operators got involved in the world of Terra (Arknights) + How the Co-Op gamemode is released at the right timing, perfectly synchronized theme to the entire event This event is freaking amazing, I put this as my second favorite to Fungi Mist. I will miss this event so much, it's going off so soon. If you haven't played Rainbow Six as well and have a good PC to play, please do try it, I personally enjoy the game (though players can get a little toxic or sweaty at times, but that's not a major problem). I honestly do not know what's stopping them from making these gamemodes permanent, for now it's not happening for at least the next 7-8 months, but only time will tell if they will ever let these rerun or make them permanent. Why is there no endless mode, neither do I know, I would love if there was something endless, maybe it's just a deliberate company strategy to not make an endless mode that might cause burnout in players. I think we can only make opinions, predictions or assumptions to this, but none of us will ever know.
Tachanka is average Family man. Just like TF2 Heavy. Skadi is kinda ...Treasure hunter. And also might be the War Veteran of The Sea blah blah event. The event that fucking plant rushes at you. Well they aint connected actually. But r6 character Personalities are 10/10 fit to game. Ash is team leader. So Its normal to her to be douche. Other ones are sweet. Tachanka and Blitz... Nice persons... Frost is a Workshop worker.(Makes mats etc)

Another cool, yet small, fun fact that I love about the R6 ops is that Ash reloads her guns as well as correctly turning towards enemy positions before shooting. You'd think that gun ops like Liskarm or Exu would do the same, but sadly that's not the case.
I know this is late but there is an actual reason for why Exu and company dont reload. Arknights Guns are originium powdered, they dont need ammo. This is actually even mentioned in the profiles of the R6 characters that their weapons are different than the AK world weapons, and gunpowder apparently doesnt exist on Terra
@@gegg_ Well, yes and no. To my understanding there are two types of guns in Arknights lore, one being traditional firearms and the other being arts based energy weapons. Traditional guns are notoriously difficult to wield for non sankta due to the highly complicated arts mechanisms involved, as every bullet it's treated as a casting unit. This makes bullets stupid expensive in Arknights, which is why Jessica is viewed as rich.
You could tell that this collab was made with lots of love and attention from the devs and artists involved. I wouldn't be surprised if the devs involved were also R6 players with maybe 50+ hours put into the game.
In my opinion, the r6s event is absolutely a first collab event that we global players wanted. Hopefully, there will be another collab event, but not too much collab
You know, now they collaborate with the most unexpected franchise, I'd love to see them put Yakuza series in the Arknights as well, making Kiryu as 6 star op guard.
As someone who doesn't play R6, this was greatly informative. I had no idea that beyond the characters, the skins and E2 arts all featured aspects of R6, and that the characters' skills and talents all lined up almost perfectly. Well done to both companies for pulling this off. If they do a reverse collab and I can play as Exusiai or Liskarm in R6, I might even pick it up to play
I'm so exicted when the collab comes to this game. Because i love Siege and i played it too. And i nailed it to get every Rainbow Operator. Just in case, the EX stage of the even name is "Parabellum" or "Prepare for war", which i think this was reference from Operation Parabellum in Y3S2 that introduce 2 defender, Alibi and Maestro. And Arknights about defense tower, so is much likely they got that reference. I'm about to upload showcase 4 Operator AK in their game, Rainbow Six Siege in my social account.
As a former R6 Siege player this is the only event that I most regret that I missed it. Unfortunately I started playing Arknights only 6 months after this event. And seems like the rerun will never come
Wow! This made me appreciate the collab a lot more, especially for the operators. Finally I know why Ash can use her S3 only twice per deployment. It's really cool how accurate they tried to make this collab event even to small details.
A couple things i wanna add having played siege alot before: Yacht is the map that debuted with frost on operation black ice. R6 sieges first expansion. Blitzs backround and the backround you show is clubhouse not coastline. Other than that good video
I think Tachanka def buff and extra redeploy time is reference to him being a 1 speed 3 armor operator which make him tankier but slow. Ps:In the R6 furniture set if you move the reinforced wall over you can see a rotation hole.
Haven’t played any R6S games but I love how they are given individual personalities in the short amount of time in the story. Also, that gorgeous Schwarz skin looks like it would fit in perfectly in R6S world.

i love the Rainbow Ops in Arknights. i don't play R6S but i know i love Tachanka ever since i learned about him. i'm just sad his kit in AK isn't very good, at least on E1 max lvl...
The only downside of the entire collab is Ubi hasn't and probably won't put any Arknights stuff in R6Siege itself. There's so much that could be done like: Exusiai elite for Mira (I would totally insta-buy). Ash's nekomimi skin. A Rangers inspired elite for Capitao. Schwarz elite for Kali. A Liskarm inspired elite for Blitz based on Liskarm's Overload skin. Weapon skins & charms that reference AK ops. Like a Jessica charm (that may or may not be crying) or a M9 skin that has her on it. A rabbit charm that looks Amiya's rabbit.
i probably need to say this a year ago but the closest thing we have to an arknights esque things is operation chimera originium like mineral (originium and that mineral are 60% same they are meteorite and can grow overtime and can infect tho originium cant turn infected person into a hostile chess piece they are still a normal human and did you ever think that the white mask kinda looked like reunion and works like one? remember that scientist who created the portal and teleport himself and ash and the gang ? would be cool if we got another collab and turns out the scientist was a member of the remining white mask group and maybe will be more cooler if we get r6 exctaction timeline event in ak
Appreciate the video but I have some corrections: 5:37 Thats not Coastline map. That map is called Club House. 6:44 Ash' E2 art depicts her rushing through the wall of the Meeting Hall on the first floor, towards the stairs leading to the basement in the Rear Stage area. Also: - The reason Ash has 31 bullets in the mag isn't just because "thats the magazine capacity of a gun in the game" which is false. There are LMG's with 150 capacity or DMR's with 13ish capacity aswell. The real reason of why Ash has 31 bullets in the mag is because both of her primary weapons in R6 has 30+1 bullets. By judging the picture of the ability she is definitely using R4-C. -Ash's second passive refers to the tactic called "Ash Rush". You can also notice that someone is firing back at her during her second skill indicating that she is Ash Rush'ing. - The base animation of Tachanka's Skin is a reference to how sometimes players just dance along with the drones as a friendly gesture or a way of trolling them until the round starts and then break the drone when the prep phase ends and they are forced to stop looking at them. - Ash uses her M45 MEUSOC pistol in Arknights and her first ability is a reference to this pistols strengths. Quoting from the wiki: "The M45 MEUSOC comes with low magazine capacity, but benefits greatly from its high single-shot damage and speedy reload. It can take down Light and Medium Armored Operator at its optimum distance in two bullets." - When you say "Tachanka was the worst operator" you had to mention that he had the worst win-pick ratio in the entire game. His pick rate was around -%20~ and his win rate was around -%17~ until he became a meme which pulled his pick rate up to -%10 and win rate to -%5.4 until he got reworked. Also his rework is handled really bad. They refused to rework him for years, then they said they are looking for options to rework him and they said that they will either rework him or retire him from the game replacing him with another operator but what they ended up doing is they reworked him according to what a popular UA-camr who mained Tachanka suggested to them 2 years prior to the rework. His nickname was BikiniBodhi and he suggested that they should unmount his LMG and make it his primary weapon just like Glaz's sniper rifle (Glaz's rifle is a special weapon and he doesn't have another option in order to balance his rifles power.) while giving him another gadget.
I think he pointing the 31 bullets in the game is not wrong tho... Since he referencing to her both of her weapons which is 30+1 bcs she didnt use LMG or other weapons bruh...

Saying "A gun" instead of "The gun she uses in R6" implies that every gun in R6 has 31 bullets which, as i said in my comment, false as there are alot of weapons which has more or less than 31 bullets. I stated that the reason the ability gives Ash 31 bullets is because both of the Ash's weapons has 31 bullets in R6. Especially the R4-C rifle which she uses in Arknights. Also I didn't said she uses LMG, I was giving an example to my statement. LMG's has around 150-175~ ammo per mag which is enough to prove that the previous statement is false.
Blizt also got an animation where he would lower his shield while shooting, it's still look the same as his e2 art, that's a small detail but it shows that they put efforts into small things
There is a small error about Ash E2 art. Her background is indeed based on Oregon, but it's 1F, right below the watchtower instead. The camera position is right at the 1F rear stage, and the organized wires are at the ceiling as well. (On a small note, the background art is mirrored compared to R6 map counterpart) I made several videos about the crossover, but I missed out some details. This video is a great explanation about the relationship between two games, and I gotta say, the difficulties of the stages are just right.

For me I just use amiya 3rd skill to reduce the boss health and finish it with SilverAsh as for the other enemy I just use Lappland (her silent can stop enemy multiplying) and blaze with healer
It's likely that they wait for global release? I mean Ubisoft is the one who design catgirl Ash skin. I don't think they will pass up the opportunity to present this.

The only problem with this collabo is the timing. What could get worse for an F2P player who spent tons of orundums for Saga / Dusk and now has to face another limited banner? I got Ash just right at the 120th headhunting which means my luck ran out after getting Dusk. But on the bright side. I still managed to get her. It took me 163 headhuntings to get Rosmontis. Well... I understand Yostar/Hypergryph doesn't want to be too generous with the chance. But come on.... The timing is too obvious... Does it have to be one limited banner after another?
There's going to be more limited banners too. If you haven't hop on the orundum farming grind, then it's time to get to it because the next two limited will have meta characters.
Ash is not a cat girl! She had picked that outfit to conceal her identity allowing her to proceed with her missions. I think she and Schwarz get along well since her hat is identical to Schwarz

I've been having problems with my LDPlayer after Dusk event, Arknights kept crashing so I switched to Bluestacks 5. Reinstalling the game doesn't work. I wonder if the problem is my hardware or something.
ash didnt have 50% evade not accurate edit: a theory how originium comes from earth . Back then on one event and a cutscene a meteorite falls from earth the thing is, the infected creatures/people also have black crystals on their body .
Only problem is Tachanka voice should be very loud LMG MOUNTED AND LOADED,I SEE THE ENEMY etc but cuz he have new VA after rework he not loud( also Ash should be louder, when voices skill names, and she have useless G36C, but every Ace(5kills) killer uses R4C rifle, but Ubi is bad in their own operators explanation if it was players they will do Ash more broken Op xd

i probably need to say this a year ago but the closest thing we have to an arknights esque things is operation chimera originium like mineral (originium and that mineral are 60% same they are meteorite and can grow overtime and can infect tho originium cant turn infected person into a hostile chess piece they are still a normal human and did you ever think that the white mask kinda looked like reunion and works like one? remember that scientist who created the portal and teleport himself and ash and the gang ? would be cool if we got another collab and turns out the scientist was a member of the remining white mask group and maybe will be more cooler if we get r6 exctaction timeline event in ak
Appreciate the video but I have some corrections:
5:37 Thats not Coastline map. That map is called Club House.
6:44 Ash' E2 art depicts her rushing through the wall of the Meeting Hall on the first floor, towards the stairs leading to the basement in the Rear Stage area.
Also:
- The reason Ash has 31 bullets in the mag isn't just because "thats the magazine capacity of a gun in the game" which is false. There are LMG's with 150 capacity or DMR's with 13ish capacity aswell. The real reason of why Ash has 31 bullets in the mag is because both of her primary weapons in R6 has 30+1 bullets. By judging the picture of the ability she is definitely using R4-C.
-Ash's second passive refers to the tactic called "Ash Rush". You can also notice that someone is firing back at her during her second skill indicating that she is Ash Rush'ing.
- The base animation of Tachanka's Skin is a reference to how sometimes players just dance along with the drones as a friendly gesture or a way of trolling them until the round starts and then break the drone when the prep phase ends and they are forced to stop looking at them.
- Ash uses her M45 MEUSOC pistol in Arknights and her first ability is a reference to this pistols strengths. Quoting from the wiki:
"The M45 MEUSOC comes with low magazine capacity, but benefits greatly from its high single-shot damage and speedy reload. It can take down Light and Medium Armored Operator at its optimum distance in two bullets."
- When you say "Tachanka was the worst operator" you had to mention that he had the worst win-pick ratio in the entire game. His pick rate was around -%20~ and his win rate was around -%17~ until he became a meme which pulled his pick rate up to -%10 and win rate to -%5.4 until he got reworked. Also his rework is handled really bad. They refused to rework him for years, then they said they are looking for options to rework him and they said that they will either rework him or retire him from the game replacing him with another operator but what they ended up doing is they reworked him according to what a popular UA-camr who mained Tachanka suggested to them 2 years prior to the rework. His nickname was BikiniBodhi and he suggested that they should unmount his LMG and make it his primary weapon just like Glaz's sniper rifle (Glaz's rifle is a special weapon and he doesn't have another option in order to balance his rifles power.) while giving him another gadget.
I think he pointing the 31 bullets in the game is not wrong tho... Since he referencing to her both of her weapons which is 30+1 bcs she didnt use LMG or other weapons bruh...

Saying "A gun" instead of "The gun she uses in R6" implies that every gun in R6 has 31 bullets which, as i said in my comment, false as there are alot of weapons which has more or less than 31 bullets. I stated that the reason the ability gives Ash 31 bullets is because both of the Ash's weapons has 31 bullets in R6. Especially the R4-C rifle which she uses in Arknights. Also I didn't said she uses LMG, I was giving an example to my statement. LMG's has around 150-175~ ammo per mag which is enough to prove that the previous statement is false.
Blizt also got an animation where he would lower his shield while shooting, it's still look the same as his e2 art, that's a small detail but it shows that they put efforts into small things
For extra detail Ash should have Physical evasion talent due to her non-existent head-box
There is a small error about Ash E2 art.
Her background is indeed based on Oregon, but it's 1F, right below the watchtower instead. The camera position is right at the 1F rear stage, and the organized wires are at the ceiling as well. (On a small note, the background art is mirrored compared to R6 map counterpart)
I made several videos about the crossover, but I missed out some details. This video is a great explanation about the relationship between two games, and I gotta say, the difficulties of the stages are just right.
He also said Blitz's E2 art was in Coastline but it's Clubhouse. Easy mistake to make though and it doesn't really matter

For me I just use amiya 3rd skill to reduce the boss health and finish it with SilverAsh as for the other enemy I just use Lappland (her silent can stop enemy multiplying) and blaze with healer

The only problem with this collabo is the timing. What could get worse for an F2P player who spent tons of orundums for Saga / Dusk and now has to face another limited banner?
I got Ash just right at the 120th headhunting which means my luck ran out after getting Dusk. But on the bright side. I still managed to get her. It took me 163 headhuntings to get Rosmontis.
