I know right! It's fun, challenging, and refreshing to see that splitting mechanic, but goddamn it literally crashed my Arknights to my device's home screen, ESPECIALLY OD-EX8 😂.

But that stage, ironically as well, is also designed to make Surtur useless as a fallen brick wall because of the placement of the boss. Even the most broken operator in the global server became useless during the event's last EX stage. Jaye, on the other hand, this event was basically his "free supply" of sushi ingredients 😂. Probably the most broken 4-star currently in the global server 😂.

I did low rarity run with Silverash and Guard Amiya where Kross was easily holding two lanes, and two E0 operators were at blocking duty (Noir Cone and Curier) along with Spot and Cardigan Just use two bombs on third phase, and one to down the second one faster. Piss easy

Even worse, when i finally had enough levels in my sortied team, i was out on drill plans and had to try it for real over and over again... In just the last hour.... T-T the event ended just as I thought i got a working strat out at the last second.
Finally, an exe that doesn't have Arknights sound effects so I can be safe around my parents, like they're with me 24/7 thanks to quarantine now and I can't play Arknights with volume on
This event made me feel that below-average player dont deserve to play the game It made me frustated to some mission Also that OD-08 fuck that (I fucking followed every tips that i watch but nothing works at all)( I tried the tips from Kyno and IloveAmiya no hope for me at all)

From laggy visual effects that will effect low-end devices / poorly optimized emulators all the way to that dreaded -75% ASPD buff whenever you block the little spiders. Hell, OD-EX8 (the EX variant of OD-8) was PURPOSELY designed to bench players who have Surtur just by looking at the boss and sandstorm placement. No matter where you want to put Surtur, she WILL ALWAYS be exposed to the sandstorm and then one-shot by the stealth snipers. So yeah, a full meta 5 or 6 star squad was somehow out of the question. The MVPs for R6S event were the 4-stars Pinecone, Perfumer, and Jaye most of the time, for the low-rarity squad. Exusia's skill 3 is a risky gamble and I found that just using her Skill 1 at level 7 was enough to do the job of killing those pesky little spiders. And FYI, the next season of the upcoming Contigency Contract will make Pinecone shine to hold the right lane for the 4-star squads. At least, that's what I managed to gather regarding the operators used in CC5 in the CN server.
Who thought that physical and arts damage reduction, AOE true damage that cannot be avoided, and swarm of slowing tumors fair to play against? The designer of this boss must be smoking By the way it took me alot of practice plans and some sanity to create stable leakage free auto deploy.
@@syaondri I'll give you a hint, they are both siblings. One carries a giant red hammer, and one carries a bow, with a specific tag that buffs them or their "bodyguards". If you kill one of the siblings, the other one left standing gets retardedly strong.
OD-8 struggle was real, that my E1 lvl 60-70 ops couldn't handle it... But now, I can't wait for that rerun (hopefully) just so I can have my revenge on that abomination of a boss
OD-8 was certainly annoying. But that's what the bombs were for. OD-EX-8 was also really annoying. But not because of the slugs. The stupid enemies you had to kill on the top were the annoying part.
Its better to use Eyja s3 on the boss during his 2nd phase, because he has a LOT of RES during his 3rd phase, but not that high on 2nd phase And I also saw that the boss entered his 3rd stage due to being delayed rather than reaching low health, so the boss would spawn the tumours more. Use both bombs on his 3rd phase since the bombs deal true dmg, hence shorten his 3rd phase TL;DR : The longer you delay the boss, the more screwed you are
