What a nice video! You are "right on" about learning the chords. Your hand will then have a good tendency to be in the right place at the right time. Great Job Here! Thank you!
My mom did take lessons to learn how to play, she's still amazing now. I grew up hearing this piece all the time on the piano. Great helpful hints in this video for a self taught player like myself! It would be awesome if you could do one for the Clementi piece op 36 no 3!
Unfortunately, I find the metronome very distracting. I’m using it with Hannon to try to get used to it. My teacher tells me I have intuition about rhythm, but I’m sure that’s not really the best way. Thanks for taking the time to post this video.

Perhaps the best advice regarding Beethoven is to leave off the sonatas until you can manage the technical and musical challenges of Opus 2 No 1 which is ABRSM Grade 8, or in the useful 1 - 9 grading by the German publisher Henle Verlag, Level 3 (top easy).
hello, i really appreciate the effort you put into these lesson videos, but may i request a lesson? i didn't find a lesson about chopin's etude op. 25 no. 11, i love that piece, i am also learning it at the moment, but it is really hard for me to get into that piece. i would even more appreciate a video about this etude op. 25 no. 11 "winter wind" :)

He wasn’t going to publish this one but he needed a few quick florins to pay down his schnapps tab at the local tavern.
Nice !
I always thought that the sonata number 6 was Beethoven's favourite sonata, perhaps I was mistaken
They all are incredibly nice... hard to pick the best!
