My beautiful wife of 9 years use to sing this to my son when he was a baby. Unfortunately she passed away 1 1/2 ago. This reminds me how angelic her voice was and how much I miss her! Desiree Morrison thank you for giving me two beautiful kids. We will always keep you in our memories!
Our first granddaughter died at 13 days old. This song makes me think of her. She would be 7 on the 23rd of this month. Araya Nicole Cline, Grammy loves you always and forever!
@@tammyfarmer7716 My second grandson was born 16 weeks early and left us at 12 days old. His Mum sang this to his big brother each night at bedtime and to him when he was in hospital. It was played at his funeral and always make me think of him 💔
I'm about to be 22 next week and my mom will sometimes still hold me and sing this song. The love I felt... It meant the world to me, and I can't wait to make my future child feel the way I did.
I lost my son one year ago, today & Today marks his very first birthday in heaven. Dumbo was the theme to his nursery & this was the song I played at his funeral & the film I watched in the hospital before he crossed the rainbow bridge. I am balling as im writing this. Angel, you will forever be - so precious to me, baby of mine. Happy Birthday, my son. Mommy loves you endlessly.
I lost my son almost 2 years ago when he was just 3.5 months old. I cry every time I hear this song. I'm happy you got a funeral for your little boy. My son died the day of the virus lock down and haven't ever had a proper service for him ever. Husband decided to leave me within a month of our son dying and have been fighting ever since. Bless you, this is the hardest road I've ever had to imagine walking.
My precious great nephew has nonverbal autism and he melts like butter in my arms when I sing this to him. :) It literally breaks my heart to see children that have had to endure so much thus far, but I just know they'll come out warriors. 😇💕💕
Same. My daughter has autism and since she was a baby I’d sing this to her for bed time or nursing. When she is sad or has a meltdown/tantrum she says “Baby mine”& that means she wants me to hold her and sing to her.
This is the song my mom sang to me before I went to bed every night when I was little... This song still makes me cry even if I listen to it more than once, because it really brings back memories of my mom holding my hand as I began to fall asleep
Such a beautiful song this was played at my daughters funeral as we walked in carrying her little coffin ❤️ she would have been 3 years old this June it was the perfect song for our perfect gift we couldn't keep ❤️ Millie-Rae ❤️
I'm extremely sorry for your loss. I cannot even imagine how shattered your heart is still today. I'm forever thankful for having my 2 children still that are both in their 40's. Blessings to you and your family. D
I played this song for my first son to help him fall asleep. We would always listen to it about 3 times in a row to help him sleep. My grandma actually passed away a few years ago, and my father ran out of the hotel room crying. At the house, everyone was silent and sitting. Every time I sing, I think of her watching and applauding for me.
My mom used to sing this to me before bed. It's been 5 years since she passed. I dont remember her much but I do remember her sitting on the end of my bed singing this to me, saying it was my song and tucking me in. I wish i remebered her more but I'm so glad I remember that.
I sang this song to my son because its from my mom's favorite Disney movie. He passed away, then my mom passed away before she got to meet my daughter. This is the first time since 2010 I've be able to hear it fully through with our stopping it or feel to sad.

My son is 25 now and this was his music I played to him when he was a baby. Now he is a very talented musician. I think it has a lot to do with the music his dad and played for him constantly. Even when I was pregnant. I miss holding him. He was the sweetest baby. ❤❤❤
I have played this song for my daughter since I knew I was pregnant. She is 3 and asks for this song every night before bed. I can finally get through the song without crying. 🥰
How beautiful is this song?. Sadly mine have all grown up that’s the hard part letting them go.2020 wat a year one I’ll never forget who else agrees?. I certainly put my hand 🖐 up.
I lost my mom 3 months ago. I listen too this song just to remember her. I love her to my very soul. I’m very sad she is no longer here. I love her and miss my wounderful mom every single day.
My mom would play this exact video for me when I was around 2 or 3 while I was crying or sleeping and she would sing along to it. Now I don’t have the best relationship with her and it makes me cry and feel loved to hear it
I play this for my 5 month grandson when is fussing it tired. He immediately closed his eyes and goes to sleep. He loved this song. It is so beautiful. I also lost three sons in the last ten years And when I hear this it makes me think of them and brings tears to my eyes.
Due in April 2019 and i’ve been singing it to my sweet boy since the day I found out I was pregnant. I will make sure to sing it to him afterwards as well. This song makes me cry all the time. 💚😩
I sang this song to my eldest son every night. Singing this song settled him down every night. My son either loved my singing or went to sleep so I would stop singing. He’s a teenager now but I cherished those moments and I am glad that my husband has one of these moments on video.
I have sang this to all 4 of my babies. My oldest is now 20,my middles babies are 19 and 15 and my baby girl is 9 lord this makes my heart ache, time slow down ❤
I remember seeing Dumbo in the theater w/ my mom as a kid and the scene where she rocks him through the bars in her cage with this song playing just wrecked me. I've never heard this cover before. I think I got maybe a dozen words into it before the tears started...
I used to sing this to my son and he would fall asleep so easily and peacefully. It was the sweetest thing. Love my baby... Always. Losing you was the hardest thing I ever had to face in life. Sometimes things are out of our control no matter how bad you want it...
I heard this when I was a 3rd grader and a whole bunch of us were brought to the lunchroom to watch Dumbo...not sure why because we never did anything like that before or since. This was so sad that I just sat there and cried. Kids all made fun of me as a child like they did Dumbo, so I felt very alone at school. All i wanted to do was go home even though I liked to learn and sometimes it’s all I want still even though I am all grown up now.. Mama is in heaven now. She never knew this song, but she always sang sweet to me when she put me to bed and when she woke me up too.
Learning this song for my little man, I was learning it during my first pregnancy which ended in miscarriage. This is a song I always knew I would sing to my children, whether they are on earth or in heaven.
My mothers friend sang this to me every night she took care of me. It's been so long since I've heard it and I've never known the title. Very happy that this made me tear.
I listened to this cover constantly in elementary school because it just made me so happy, now in college I’m listening to it all the time again. Just such a beautiful song by a beautiful voice!
I forgot that my mom used to sing me this song when I was a baby. When she visited to meet her grandson for the fist time at 3 months, he had a hard time staying asleep and was very fussy. Until, she played him this very song, it instantly soothed him at put him at ease..my son is now 5 years old and asks for this song before bed
almost 2 years sammie. i don’t want to think about what you were thinking or doing at this time then. i wish we never lost you. i love you and miss you more than anything. rest in peace beautiful angel. 2003 - 2020
I sing this to my sweet great nephew and he melts like putty in my arms. . . ❤❤ I can't sing, but he feels the emotion. :) Autism is a hard thing to live with and it takes patience, understanding, hugs, and unconditional love.
I had my first son 05/11/21 Since birth this song just kinda became our little thing together ❤ Ive sang this to him constantly even when he barely wakes up from his little nappys. I just hold him close while i sing. Makes my heart melt. I found true meaning of love when i became a parent ♥ To my beautiful baby i love you forever 💙
Baby mine, don't you cry Baby mine, dry your eyes Rest your head close to my hart Never to part, baby of mine Little one when you play Don't you mind what they say Let those eyes sparkle and shine Never a tear, baby of mine If they new sweet little you They'd end up loving you too All those same people who scold you Want they'd give just for The right to hold yo From your head to your toes You're not much, goodness know But you're so precious to me Sweet as can be, baby of mine All those same people who scold you What they'd give just for The right to hold you From your head to your toes You're not much, goodness know But you're so precious to me Sweet as can be, baby of mine
I'm here because my grandma would sing me this song to me every night when I was little. She passed away 2 years ago. Now I'm 14 years old and I need to hear this song again because this song would make me happy again.
I love this song and version!! Definitely one of my Disney favorites from "Dumbo"! I love the sweet and so soothing lyrics. Just as sweet as Bette Midler's!
There’s a kitten on my lap right now and I’m playing this for him and his brother (sleeping nearby) just because it’s late at night and they’re the cutest little things I’ve ever seen in my life.
I sang this song to my baby in the NICU, and when we got home I sang it to her for 2.5 years while I tried to escape abuse. She is four now and asks for me to sing "her song" every now and then when she's upset or has a bad dream.
I want to sing this to my son but I can't even listen to it without crying. I lost my first child two years before he was born and I listened to so many lullabies when I was pregnant with his big sister, and after we left the hospital without her I couldn't listen to anything without breaking down. I've had to get creative finding songs for my rainbow baby 🥲
Every thing I watch this it make me think every time a day goes by will be a day closer my mom passing away and I can’t stand the thought of losing her
My mom used to allways simg this to me when i was baby...,now 9 or 7 years later this song makes me cry....and i barly see her because shes always shoping or working
when I was 7, mum n i laid down on her bed, watching Dumbo she was in the few hours of loosing fight with C. This hurts to listen to but gives me great faith in ever lasting love.
My daughter passed away at 24 .in Feb of this year.and I raise her two daughters.i use to sing this song to her as a baby.i sing it now in her honour but it makes me sad sometimes but it also make s me happy because God gave me the beautiful baby that he did for 24 years and he must have needed her more.i love you kaylynn xo rest in heaven.
This song is forever burned into my sentimental psyche thanks to its prominence on the trailer for Dumbo’s 60th Anniversary Edition VHS and DVD from 2001, which appeared on one of my childhood VHS releases - The Book of Pooh: Stories from the Heart.
My mom used to wrap me tightly in a blanket and hold me while playing this song when i was kid and i would have breakdowns. I miss that feeling so much, this song never fails to make me cry
I haven't seen my daughter for 12 years. The last time was my 60th birthday. It was her choice. I have adopted and raised her two special needs children; they don't really know their biological mother, but they know she is my child. The hurt has gone so deep that I'm numb now. Every time I hear this song, I think of her. I sang it to her when she was growing up.
Baby mine, don't you cry Baby mine, dry your eyes Rest your head close to my heart Never to part, baby of mine Little one when you play Don't you mind what they say Let those eyes sparkle and shine Never a tear, baby of mine If they knew sweet little you They'd end up loving you too All those same people who scold you What they'd give just for The right to hold you From your head to your toes You're not much, goodness knows But you're so precious to me Sweet as can be, baby of mine
My mom used to sing this to me every night and now I'm crying because she doesn't sing it anymore and I love her more than literally anything in this world and I don't want to lose her ever This song makes me think of what might happen when she does, and I hate that thought so much and now I can't stop crying because I love her so much

Even though my little Dani died before I could deliver them into this world, they'll always be a baby of mine

Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my hart
Never to part, baby of mine
Little one when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they new sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
Want they'd give just for
The right to hold yo
From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness know
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you
From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness know
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine

I'm here because my grandma would sing me this song to me every night when I was little. She passed away 2 years ago. Now I'm 14 years old and I need to hear this song again because this song would make me happy again.
I love this song and version!! Definitely one of my Disney favorites from "Dumbo"! I love the sweet and so soothing lyrics. Just as sweet as Bette Midler's!
There’s a kitten on my lap right now and I’m playing this for him and his brother (sleeping nearby) just because it’s late at night and they’re the cutest little things I’ve ever seen in my life.
Played this for my niece 7 years ago and she still has to listen to it before bed, now my 3 year old nephew naps to it🖤
That's beautiful. Great images to go with this great song. Good job!
Mom use to sing me this song.
God I Miss her and it's not been a year since she was taken.
Every thing I watch this it make me think every time a day goes by will be a day closer my mom passing away and I can’t stand the thought of losing her
I'm literally crying, I love this song

Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine
Little one when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you
From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine
