Some of us may at times feel nervous to share our faith with others, this song puts a new perspective on sharing faith. Though Mary may not have been nervous to share her faith, she needed faith that God would be with her to continue to carry on despite that others may doubt her, and some would, but more so, she was a virgin soon to be married in a time when those who have been accused to have committed adultery or to have lost virginity before marriage could possibly lose their life & be stoned to death. We all need the faith Mary had when we find ourselves in a situation where we may be the only chance for someone to learn the truth about God's Glorious Kingdom and everlasting life.

I remember singing this in church and feeling the presence of our Savior surround me. He took all my stage fright away because the song became my way to worship Him. Thank you, God, for giving Amy the gift of music! (And by the way, Amy, your mom was wrong. "Music IS your gift, Am." 😄)

How did it happen that I made it through 69 years 😂and didn't know of this beautiful song until 2020, The Chosen Christmas Special - The Messengers? The lyrics seem so likely for a 14-year-old, called upon to be the mother of God's only Son. No matter how often I listen to Amy Grant's rendition, tears fill my eyes. ❤😢
