The Majima spawning anywhere is probably based on how Majima in yakuza is a random encounter that forces you to fight him.

I have a feeling that’s somehow some way gonna pull a Gun aka BE EVERYWHERE which honestly given who this is a reference to makes sense… btw it’s a reference to the game series Yakuza and Majima is a rather important character who in the series is known for being practically EVERYWHERE and usually doing something weird

The majima gun is such a cool reference and I'm glad that the yakuza series is getting the recognition it truly deserves such a great franchise crossing w another goated franchise like borderlands

The GEP (pronounced GEP, not G.E.P, for context) is a gun from first Deus Ex. Just thought to share it ^^
And is also an optional choice against a stun rod and a crossbow if my memory serves correct - hence the quote about a silent takedown if you choose the others
@@jacengreen2609 It's also a huge meme, but it's not a joke - GEP gun is indeed completely silent, has homing rounds, and can double as a lockpick too. Always pick GEP gun.

I've been watching it only for 4 minutes, but this mod already seems like the go-to content mod.
Like, rocket jumps, generally faster gameplay, effect descriptions for unique items AND loot tables right in the game itself? Hell, I'd grab this mod even without all the new content!

The Degreaser is likely a reference to Team Fortress 2. The Pyro has a weapon by the same name and the quote is something said by the Engineer, a class people commonly associate with the Pyro because they're good at defending Engineer Sentry nests.
I mean, considering they added rocket jumping, a mechanic TF2 basically created as a viable strategy after the glitch rocket jumping that was its predecessor in the quake mod, I would not be surprised if more TF2 references were made in this mod pack.
The boss drops list in the challenges menu is perfect. They should include something just like that for every Borderlands game. It'd make a big difference helping newer players understand how to farm and who to farm.

@@JackRipperiscoming dude ima be honest with you I have No idea what you are talking about. BL3 looks much better than bl2 and the guns definitely looks and shoots better and the cars are much better as you can have a wide range of weapons

The GEP Gun is a reference to the original Deus Ex game. It was that game's rocket launcher and you mostly used it against robots.

Whyyyyyy is slowing down Jakobs weapons such a common rebalancing attempt? It just makes them feel slow and unsatisfying! I hope you can turn that off.

@@windebiesteultima3317 At least BLCMM mods make it easy to enable and disable features. I did that with a certain other mod that similarly did that.
I see so many references in those new guns, I love it! BL2 modding is the best thing that happened to Borderlands since Borderlands
The Ramos is a reference to The Division, one of the missions you farmed for god tier loot had that dialogue play and it became a meme in the community because its all you hear after enough runs 😂

Uniques are so strong that they really are a legendary in terms of power sometimes. Plus, a lot of the bad uniques got buffed.

After the Azurelands series I am so excited for this!
I'm a simple man, I see BL2 and I stay and watch
Maya, krieg, zero and Salvador seem to have so much improvements with this mod but I got to say zero and krieg get the biggest buffs. Salvador and maya are already broken but with the new stuff it makes them even more broken. Kreig is surprisingly strong in so many builds, and zero is an awesome aerial user with increased movement in air so so fun.

I wish you could’ve done this play through on Krieg, would’ve been fun to see all the insane stuff you could pull off with the general sandbox changes, especially with rocket jumping and movement speed
Brimstone is a binding of Issac reference to the item of the same name that also shares the same description blood laser barrage it's a devil deal item causing Isaacs tears to turn into a blood laser that deals a lot of damage and has infinite range its widely regarded as one of the best items in the game

the degreaser is a reefrence to team fortress 2, and pyros flamethrower the degreaser, which has lower fire damage overtime but has faster swap to and from speed
