58:21 For me, why I always can walk away from people life is that I know that when Allah have put that relationship to an end in whatever context it would be, you don't have to questioning why. Allah give you sign to move on and 'gerakkan' your heart to end the relationship probably because He wants to give you more than what you already have. For me, if you know you've tried your best for a relationship, don't be afraid to let go things. If it was meant to be, it will comes back to you. Just focus to be better to attract good things❤
The thing i learnt from this episode is how attentive Harith is to Hakim's stories. I was never a good listener when my friends told me something, I got anxious to the point of finding solution for them. But your words stuck with me, there's difference between judgemental & curiousity. I should be curious more. Thanks guys ❤

I can totally understand the part where you have to keep on explaining things to someone you love so they'll get where youre coming from, and its really exhausting.
Anyway, just my 2 cents regarding this whole thing, I get that Hakim's main intention is to apologise and in the beginning he mentioned that he had no expections when he was drafting the text and when he sent the text, however when the story escalated, you can tell he slowly contradicted to what he said initially. I mean it's fine to admit that we have expectations as long as the expectations are moderate. The moment he feels anxious to send the text, he has expectations on how she'll react to the text, either she ignores it, scrolls through it etc bcs he felt anxious abt it. The moment he dissapointed on how she replied, he had the expectation that she'll reply in certain ways. He had high hopes that they would go back tgt throughout the whole process and hence, the girl could figure that out (it doesnt mean I agree on how she replied tho). We all human anyway, we always have our expectations.All in all, its just my 2 cents and I hope Hakim could heal properly this year with the closure he received and only start to test the waters when he is really ready.
i have another 10 minutes to end this podcast but im going to comment anyway. I guess every person has their own journey to be mature in handling their feelings. Maybe your ex has a huge trauma that prevent to feel safe when you ask for time to be alone. just listening to this it seems that you are mature in handling your feelings etc but maybe not yet from her end and trauma can play a huge role in the behaviour. Hope you will find someone that match your frequency
43:00 damn.. it hits me so hard bcs i can relate to hakim.. im a needy person and too depending on my boyfriend. I needed him all the time. That’s why we get into fights every time.. though it is hard for me to change it 360 bcs since i was a kid i was alone all the time. glad i found this podcast. Thanks hakim.
