Thank You for the video
Of course we love these shop videos! I just bought a 69 Riverside Gold 427 Vette, so I am getting ideas.
Yes good job again, when you made your new shirt with your 67 Vette.. i will buy one for sure, happy with the Camaro ZL1 ❤️one and Vette L88 of your dad
Yes, like watching you work on the cars, this roll bar install, a prime example, see you at Cecil.
You post great uploads regardless of the theme (racing, building, dyno pulls). Thanks for taking the time to upload.
Its great to watch the work you do. Being able install a rollbar in a manner that you cannot see it, is very cool. Very talented! I am terrible at bending pipe and getting it to do what I think it should. Keep up the great work. I think the fast series is the best racing out there today. Interesting how fast you are going with skinny bias ply tires, let alone not being at least 12" wide slicks. Definitely an art.
Cool beans! Cage building, it's a good skill to have... after a while you won't even think about it, you'll just get it done almost like it's second nature.
Yes, like it you and Jeff Lutz (on his site) actually show things being built. Other sites just talk and demonstrate nothing. Even when you Dyno the car it’s real.
Cage looks great! Im not to good at writing notes down on paper but as i bend bars that have to be duplicated side to side i write my bend measurements, degrees and notch angles on the first tube. Makes the other side go quicker and sometimes come out a touch nicer.
Thanks man! It doesn’t make sense, but I always do great bending the first bar, the bar I have to duplicate, I struggle with. I have no idea why or how lol, the second bar should be easier!
Great stuff. You’re an inspiration
Thank you!
Nice job on that cage. Best wishes on the new home.
Thank you!
Thanks for the video Jordan. Love the content.
Nice work on the cage.i have done three pre-bent 8 points .like your bender electric over hydraulic. Rhoades race cars has billit kits for the swing out bars that work and look great
That’s exactly what I’m using for swing outs on this car, I like them so far!
@@HorsepowerDepot they a beveled area when you tig them.the first ones i used where from s&w they where ok. then i saw the rhoades ones never going back to s&w ones.you did nice job on that main hoop.from what I heard those are a bitch to get right
Definitely love seeing cars worked on.
Good job with the sound production too! Your filler music doesn't blast me out of my chair. I hate when the music is louder than the narration.
Lol thanks! I try to always make the music the same volume level as the rest of the video!
I like cage work and chassis building videos!
Thank you for the video. I miss you guys back to work 60 pluss hrs a week you guys rock thanks
so nice for you to stress how difficult it is to make compound bends , before the couch jockey orders up a tubing bender and thinks he going to drop in a perfect roll bar or cage ... thank you - p.s. your show kicks butt
Build videos and race videos are all good content . Good to see you back in action
Good job, Jordan. 👍👍
Glad to see another video up! Was hoping to see some content on that 340, I need motivation on my Demon lol
Great job!
I'm surprised you didn't weld a plate to the rear frame then weld bars to them 4 places. I liked doing roll bars and cages too.
love the fab work..if your watching this your probably a gearhead
Keep em comin!
Awesome
Do you have to have the cage inspected? Do they try to x-ray the welds?
Can you put any cam you want in the engine?
Jordan What do you know about the flow and HP potential of Spin tech mufflers (pro street or super pro street) vs say Hooker Max flows or Walker Dyno Max ultra flow/race welded muffs?
I’ve never used a spin tech. But I’ve heard they rob a little power.
@@HorsepowerDepot The early Spin Techs did rob HP and the Spin Tech Sportsman does also..I have run the Pro Street and Super Pro street 3" against my Dyno Max 3" 17221 at the track on my 70 Buick Stage 1 (3800lb which runs low 11's) and ran the same mph and very close to same ET & 60'times as the 17221 Dyno Max. Essentially no difference between them. Advantage is the Spin Tech are lighter & smaller than the Dyno Max. but louder.
I always wander about those old willys coupes. Did you guys sell them or do you guys have any plans for them? Also that Sting Ray that you're going to build, have you had any time for it yet?
We still have both of them. They aren’t going anywhere! Haven’t had time for the 67 just yet, but it will race this year!
Is your bar stock chrome moly?
What are the camshaft specs on Ed's factory stock L88? Thanks for the video.
It has a L88 camshaft they can be bought from Jegs or summit.
@@HorsepowerDepot 10.61 @129 is moving with a old school cam. Thanks
@@HorsepowerDepot What brand of solid lifters do you use? Specially with the current issue with flat tappet cams wiping out. Thanks.
Nice work! You didn’t say but I am guessing you used mild steel vs chrome moly for the cage?
1 5/8 .083 chromoly.
@@HorsepowerDepot - Nice! Will save some weight.
Corvette is the fox body equivalent in FAST 😆
Lol true! May not be everyone’s favorite car but it’s the car that gets the job done!
We are having withdraws we need more videos please
FIRST!!!
1:45 Can't do any porting? Or you have to camouflage the porting and cross your fingers?
17:52 I don't want to be a Karen but fiberglass dust is no good in your lungs. We want you racing for many years to come.
Nice job on the cage.
Looking forward to seeing the build on your 67.
It’s the Factory stock class. You can’t port anything.
@@HorsepowerDepot You don't think guys like Smokey Yunick would figure out ways around that?
We don’t need to port stuff. We absolutely dominated the factory class for over a decade. This exact engine has been apart minutes after the final race to prove how stock it is. Nothing to hide in our factory stock cars.
@@HorsepowerDepot 👍
@@HorsepowerDepot Also I wasn't trying to accuse you guys of cheating. It just seems like one of those rules that would be hard to enforce 100% and has been exploited in other racing formats.
Lol .cheapest and fastest, you shure your not doing it for Kirkum. 😆
That Vette is smoked by Plaid. Slower than Plaid S and slower than Plaid X. It just cant win.
I think the building videos are great.
