The basis of the song came from when Nicki Sixx was in a heroin overdose in the ambulance and they shot his heart twice with An 8" needle and adrenaline To get him back. He went back to the heroin den that night and had more
Because he isnt a quitter!!!!
And u know cuz u watched the dirt 😂 great movie
@@JFRIZBALADON he has talked about it way before the movie was a thing
Well that's why Nick Swardson said that Nicky Sixx drank heroine from a fire hose.
Alot of people think it's all bs.
Mötley Crüe wasn’t always sober. When they were formed in 1981, until after Nikki Sixx overdosed and died in 1987 (and literally got revived), they partied harder than anyone. They were under the influence of alcohol and drugs 24/7. They got sober around 1988
And not surprisingly, released their most polished and best-selling studio album ever immediately after that.
Nikki died more than once. And they did not get sober in 88. They tried though.
@@SuperSPatrick yeah, the first time Nikki overdosed and died, his dealer tried to wake him up with a baseball bat. But 1988 is when Nikki and the rest of the band started rehab.
Got sober in 1988? Are you kidding me? LMAO
and not surprisingly, nikki six was "confirmed" dead 2 times... he still going
Their lead guitarist was almost 40 when this song came out in 1989. He's 71 now and still plays like this. Motley was awesome back in the day! Home sweet home, girls, girls, girls, smokin in the boys room,Dr. Feelgood are some of the best songs ever made!
Hell yeah it’s Motely fu**ing crue🤘🤘
theater of pain
Mick Mars was 29 years old.. NOT 40
Smokin' in the boy's room wasn't even their song. But yes.
@@bobbizzle77 Mick Mars was born in 1951, so he was 38 years old in 1989 when _Dr. Feelgood_ was released.
If you look up Rockstar in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of the crue... nobody partied harder than these boys and surprisingly, they're still alive to tell the tales
keith richards of the stones
No one has ever partied harder than Motley Crue.
Well The Rolling Stones come close, especially Keith Richards lol.
Nobody has ever sucked more than Motley Crue too!
Zeppelin was up there with them too I think.
So true
Well haven’t meet me yet 🤣🤣
Haha. They’re sober now, but these guys were the textbook decadent rockstars in their time.
...and all of the decadent bands are on tour rogether right now when you think about it.
Yeah they pretty much raised the bar for debauchery! LOL
sober alright accept for Vince Neil. he's out of shape as hell.
Nah, Vince still drinks but not on tour right now tho. He's been working hard though to get back in shape and stopped drinking for the tour
They still probably weren't as bad as young Ozzy
Zeppelin after parties were outrageous. I have never seen so much booze, ass, and drugs. Not to mention the damage that was done. I worked personal Security for the band during 71 and 73.
Randall your a man with a tale or two to tell. 🤟😵💫😱
Randall Cox I remember you, backstage 1973🤘
Kickass! Although that had to be one tough job.
73 was their peak imo. best band ever
@@lindaconner64 did you know Lori Maddox?
Motley Crue just shredded Colorado USA . 7-21-22 and for 60+year old men they were still great. 🎸 Very underrated Guitarist Mick Mars.
Yes, they did!
Yes! I saw them in Jacksonville, Fl!
They will forever be legends, that show was sick 🤘🏻
I was at that show, behind home plate in the shade. We could just barely hear Vince sing over the rest of the band. The other guys sounded great, though.
@@darryllcagle9090 Lucky you were in the 😎 ⛱...as I remembered it was 100* that day! Even in zRed Rocks...Vince was weak back then too....Mick is still amazing, & of course Tommy & Nikki...
Motley Crue “Wildside” is amazing 🔥 but “Girls Girls Girls” will probably be your favorite 😍 Ozzy “Crazy Train” Skid Row “18 and Life”
Wildside would blow their mind if they watch the official video lol.
Wild Side is my ultimate Motley Crue song until Don’t Go Away Mad comes on. LOL I’m such a fickle b****.
@@cindeepowers3073 such a great choice.. love Don't Go Away Mad.
It's nice to see to see these young men trying different music and being positive!
One of the most kick ass songs of all time
Def Leppard-Pour some sugar on me-one of the most recognized songs of the 1980s hair bands-other very popular groups and songs of the time-Guns and Roses, Welcome to the Jungle-Aerosmith, Walk This Way (ft Run DMC is a great one) and Dream On. This genre of hair bands is endless-it was a great time to witness some kick ass music!
Pour Some Sugar On Me is 100% a stripper song. Walk into any strip joint and you will hear it.
This is great guys! I’ve been a Crue fan since 81…..just saw them in June in Philly……..they are, in fact, AWESOME……….thanks for posting!
Good shit, we had a blast with these tunes, you guys have no idea how much fun this time was. Keep checking these bands out
I was 19 when this song came out. Was lucky Motley came to my small midwest town for this album tour and the one before it. Its wild watching guys half my age listen to this for the first time. I love that about music.
Love seeing the young brothers enjoying rock music
You guys would love Girls, Girls Girls by Motley Crue!
This would be a crazy time to be alive!!! Yes it was son, yes it was. I’m 53 and have witnessed the greatest time in music change & still am. ✌🏻❤️🇨🇦
I love this. Hardly any stops, rewinds to restart after a reaction. Awesome reaction video to one of the best bands EVER. Long live the Crue!
this song never fails to make me run through a wall
I feel so old watching your reaction videos but I also feel good knowing you are expanding your musical vocabulary with the music I listened to when I was young ... and seem to enjoy it just like I did.
Loving to see this new generation appreciating rock!! Thank You guys 🤘🏼
The song WILD SIDE with video is a MUST!!!! GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS is another great song!! Motley Crue has many high energy great songs!!!❤
You guys are way ahead of any other reaction videos out there !! Seriously!
Its about when they nicki six heart stopped and they kickstsrted it.
This is one of the crazyiest band ever lived....
Completly crazy abd5a miracle they all are alive
It was an amazing time to be alive…and of drinking age! I met Crue a couple of times. NOBODY partied harder than Motley Crue!
These guys were awesome to see live, I was lucky enough to see them in Adelaide, South Australia twice. Once in the late 80s when on tour and again about 2013 when they got back together for a tour they were still awesome.
One of the best concerts I have ever seen being a teen of the 80s was kicking loved it!
Late 80s through mid- 90s were over-the-top crazy. The party had some consequences though. Really hoping the next group of young people plays it smarter.
I think a lot of the new music is taking inspiration from electronic music of that time.
God...has I miss those days! I have had the privilege of shaking Ozzy's hand and winning tickets into the Snake Pit on the Metallica Black to our. Those were the days! 🤩
@@jom7604 That was a wild, chaotic, exploratory time. Looking back, I'm glad to have survived to tell the tales and/or keep the secrets.
I thought we had a lot of pressure but at least we weren't electronically snitched on by our peers...We could privately move on from a few bad decisions. Sorry, kids. It ain't much of a party now. I hope the TikTok dances are enough. 🤞Stay away from the fentanyl.
YES!! Listen to Ozzy... singing Crazy Train.
Dragula by Rob Zombie is also an entertaining music video.
Loved seeing your reaction. Home Sweet Home is my favorite. Takes me back like 30 years. Wow. Love it.
You need to watch their Girls Girls Girls video. In the 80s Motley Crue was one of the BIGGEST Metal bands of the time. BTW This song is my theme song for when I ride my Harley. Love that yall are exploring the Crue!! Also, Tommy Lee would have the drums spin upside down while he played in concert.
Also all rock n roll is subject to taste. Do you want to be depressed or sad ? Pink Floyd. Lol. Do you want to blow the roof off the house ? AC/DC - Foo Fighters - Lynyrd Skynyrd- etc. You guys are doing a pretty good job navigating. Different bands were popular in different eras. I’m old I want you guys you’re great. I was born in 66. I have the blessing of watching them all.
One word. CRUE!!!!! IT was a beautiful time to be alive and young.
🍻
Glad to see you guys Rockin Out!!!!
Just saw these guys in concert 3 days ago. It was WILD, man, what a blast! My ears are still ringing 😆🤘
Just saw them a couple of months ago on the Stadium Tour and it's the best they've been in almost a decade. They were sharp and strong
This album influenced many going through puberty! 😄 It was THE best time to be alive. Freedom, rock and roll, and fun! If only we could go back to those times.
Have seen them twice back in the day and it was Fantastically Wild each time. One BIG PARTY!!!!!!!
Love how this channel gives us a little bit of everything
Truly a completely perfect song...
❤ Skid Row is an awesome band too!!! 18 and Life, Monkey Business and I Remember You are amazing! Warrant is another awesome band!! Uncle Toms Cabin and Cherry Pie are awesome by them!!!!❤
Damn bringing back good memories naming those songs off lol

Slave to the Grind!
Thanks for keeping great music alive!
THE FACT THEY ARE ALL ALIVE IS A F..IN MIRICAL .. THEY ARE ALL LEGENDS
I seen them in concert back in 88. Great concert!
LOVE MOTLEY CRUE!!
I've been to ALOT of concerts and this was one of the best I've ever been to.
I absolutely loved your reaction to Motley Crue😜🤘🏼They did rock the house!♥️
0:55 Motley basically just means a group of random elements that don’t match.
The term a “motley crew” dates back to the 1800s or early 1900s and referred to the ragtag crew of a ship (specifically pirates, I believe). The band just took the term and changed the spelling.
Not a huge Kiss fan either but they do have some great shit just the same. Detroit Rock City is worth a listen.
Bands you're missing... Pantera: check the studio cut of "Cowboys From Hell" - that was my introduction alongside "This Love" and they hooked me for life. Those are early 90s, could get a classic in there too with Pink Floyd - Time
The movie Detroit Rock City is wroth a watch, as well.

Another Great reaction. Much love from your South Alabama FAN!
Wild Side another great song from them. Love how you guys be cuttin up with the videos
Great suggestions on here everybody! Definitely think Guns N Roses should be on the list whether it’s Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O’ Mine or any song from Appetite for Destruction. I saw a couple of Led Zep votes and Immigrant Song is pretty great.
“Paradise City” should be the first 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really want them to fall down the Guns N’ Roses tunnel
@@daniellemcfarland3659
Yes but not the same ol same.
Deeper cuts
Motley Crue was one of the first bands in the first wave of Glam Metal in the 80's, comin from the Sunset Strip and going balls out with debauchery and hedonism. They were notorious for all the sex, drugs, and rock n roll they were into lol.
Other great glam bands to check out are Twisted Sister, Poison, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, the list goes on and on.
ive seen them live 5 times, it was amazing every time
You guys are a trip...rock on
Motley Crew and bands from the 80's is some of the greatest music. They don't make anything like it these days. Sad thing is it makes me old now.
“Too young to fall in love” is in my top 3 songs by Motley Crue! Should react to that one next🤘🔥
See these guys three different times to watch your guys reaction on this is f****** priceless ,you guys have a great channel. It's good what you do especially with the comedy thank you
This video is awesome guys, great stuff!
This song was inspired by basist Nikki sixx's "death"
He OD on heroin in 1987: and was pronounced dead for 2 minutes was revived by 2 adrenaline shots to the heart by paramedic
. . This album was the first they wrote and recorded sober!
Having grew up in the 80's, let me just say that everything you've heard about growing up in the 80's is true. Especially if you were into heavy metal music like I was. I urge you to look up VH1 When Metal Ruled The World here on youtube to get a glimpse of what it was like back then. Great videos fellas.
Dr Feelgood- Motley Crue & Lita Ford was my first concert. I was 14…..will never forget it!!!!
Not going to lie this is why I love music
No matter what genre you listen to how old you are it brings us all together and that fkn Rock's.
Motley Crue were the definition of hair metal in the 80s. No one partied harder than them
Haha, Motley Crue is about as turned up as it gets in Rock-n-roll! Their biography is considered one of the most honest, dirty, bios of the biz out there.
I saw Motley Crue for my first concert July 4th of '87 (during this tour). I was near front center and Tommy Lee's drum set came right out over us and he continued playing as the drums set flipped upside down. Still my favorite concert ever! I think the original video of their song Wild Side shows Tommy and the drums doing a somersault together.
I love watching kids react to our music. Rock on!
Bringing me back boys. I was in love with Vince Neil back then. Went to my first concert to motley crue. I was drummer and Tommy Lee would fling sticks into crowd. I saw one come flying I went to grab it. Another chick dove down too. I came up with it and she got a black eye and I got busted lip. You should check out girls, girls, girls. Tommy Lee playing drums with set on cherry picker rotating while playing upside down.
Def Leppard pour some sugar on me
Whitesnake in the still of the night.
Checkout ozzy and post Malone
Probably my favorite Crüe song. I CANNOT play it while driving. 🤘🏻🏁🚔
Does my heart good to see all ya'lls heads a bobbin!
I saw them at Oakland Stadium in ‘87 with White Snake. Girls Girls Girls tour…
Motley Crëw is the loudest concert I’ve been too.
Hands down, the 80’s was the best decade of rock / metal band.
the song you better have your cruise control on in the car for!! 🤘🖤🎶☠
You guys should review KIss (Tears are falling video), Poison, Ratt, Cinderella….keep it real!
...and 6 days after this was posted I got to seem them perform this song amongst so many fans at Coors Field (Colorado Rockies baseball stadium) in the Stadium tour along with Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and like this song this stadium tour is the top money maker in concert tours...I've had my tickets for nearly 2 and a half years but Covid. It was so great.
You guys are great and I grew up in the 80’s 🥳😎
gotta do Motley Crew- WildSide!!!!
Plz react to “Hot for teacher- Van Halen”
It’s fast paced like this and has some amazing guitar solos and riffs and everything!
Saw them on the Dr. Feelgood tour (1990). Billed as the loudest tour on the planet. Couldn't hear for 3 days after. My favorite band, Tesla opened for them, and it was an amazing time.
I recognize these alot because of sampling and also this jam is still played in clubs or by local bands
Check out the movie "The Dirt". It's about how motley crue became motley crue. It's not so much a documentary, as it is an actual movie. Has squirt gun Kelly , I mean machine gun Kelly in it
Yes check out "The Dirt"
Squirt gun Kelly LMAO
And squirting too. 🤣🤣
Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine (Official Music Video)
Nothing gets your heart pumping like kickstart my heart
Hello from Canada, just saw a few of your videos, you guys are hillarious, love watching your reactions.
How about some rap/rock mix? Check out “Voices in my Head” by Falling in Reverse. Saw them in OKC a few months ago and it was 🔥
Guns and roses should be the next. Axel rose has one of the best voices "
Oh...they are rock stars dude! I saw them in concert last summer (and I'm 64 years old) and we could not stop rocking and dancing! I didn't think I could get through the whole song dancing but I did. They rock hard!
Love all of your reactions man, would love to see you jump into some Boston. “Don’t look back” is an absolute banger, I’m sure y’all would love it. Keep up the great content fellas 👊🏼
KISS is one of the best bands of all time! Listen to “Black Diamond” off KISS Alive! That guitar solo at the end will blow your mind! Ace Frehley is the King!
Black Diamond in 1975, Cobo Hall, Detroit.
And then She. Peter was fire.
@@catmanpc9166 100%! 🤘🏻
The Crue are rock GODS! But, remember, they're older now so yeah, they sober, but back in the day ... nope.
Saw them in concert 30++ years ago on the "Dr. Feelgood" tour. This was awesome live. Kiss "War Machine" is awesome.
Saw that tour!! It was amazing!!! Tommy Lee’s spinning drumset out over the audience was the best thing I’ve ever seen. I was partially deaf for about 3 days after🤘🏼
Bet micks outrageous guitar playing caused that he’s awesome
great show, got to see them once.
I just saw Motley Crue on The Stadium Tour 2022 in Cleveland, Cincinnati Ohio and they still kick ass!🤟🎶❤️I love there song 🎶 Primal Scream!
WOOOOOOOO! 80's on the Sunset Strip.....goddamn what a time
just saw them 2 weeks ago in seattle, was a great show
you guys should be on tv...! would teach so many people..!
Ok. Brother with the red and grey hoodie you a free spirit my man. Keep on being yourself. You rock!
I'm seeing these guys live along with Poison, Def Leppard, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts on August 8th in Toronto.
my favorite band in high school. saw them twice.
