- We show you how to install a Glovebox Extension / GPS Support (REV Gen4) on a Ski-doo Mxz Xrs renegade snowmobile. This model is a 2019 ski-doo MXZ X-RS 129 with a rev gen4 600R but also same as the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 skidoo 850 e-tec.

Features
Doubles the storage with additional 4-liter (1 US gallon, 244 cu in) capacity.
Can be used with or without windshield.
GPS sold separately.
Door allows for perfect positionning and mounting of GPS.
Replaces stock strorage compartment cover.

I'm glad you had a decent video of this install on UA-cam. I was considering putting this item on my new Summit, but I'm starting to think that it is far too big/tall for a mountain sled. I'm worried that in the event I need to roll the sled over that this item will be abused heavily. I will find a different way to mount my handheld GPS i suppose... Thanks!
I appreciate that! This box is heavy duty - but if you have concerns, I would use Ram mounts
Was hoping you would install the 12 Volt outlet in the punch out on the glove box-moreso where is the 12 volt connector that's supposed to be under the gauge for that purpose...

Is there any difference in the Montana mount from BRP as oppose to buying it from a gps supplier? Is there something different with the wiring harness for BRP?
i think the diference is the montanna is proframmed for skidoo and has a skidoo logo on screen etc

@@mudbrats I probably did it wrong but I think the guage is just a shy different. I didn't screw any holes because I have a tall windshield that keeps it secure. Works perfect and I can take it off when I get a 2021!

Corey Brock i agree - if you need storage its a great option - but thats too much for most to really use properly. The Owner of the 600R does a lot of long backpack trips so storage is key - he uses it
I’m thinking of getting the seat bag and the linq tunnel bag I’ve had the linq caddy and never came close to using it so I think it’s being replaced with the linq bag instead
