I cringed when I saw that first commercial. Who does a recital with a drum beat backing track? And then the audience... don't get me started on that...
That logic in the first commercial makes no sense. Usually when someone does nothing but squeak in my band, the band director usually checks and sees if their clarinet is working properly. If it’s a mistake, usually he’d address it to the student, but if it’s a problem with the instrument itself, he’d say it needs to go to the shop or a new reed. Most times it could be a split reed or a bad cork, never seen an actual damaged instrument until my brother’s freshman year.
Jared De Leon Yea...I don’t know about that. My first one was a Buffet Festival. I learned on an OLD Bundy and then a Yamaha YCL-52. Plus a Buffet Crampawn Prodige isn’t going to make THAT much a of difference in the guys playing.
