WOW...this detangling technique actually worked perfectly on my hair! I wish I had discovered this method long ago. It would have saved me so much time, tears and hair loss! Thank you immensely for sharing, friend ❤

Great advice. I have been natural for years and couldn’t be bothered with having a detangling step in my regimen. I mostly finger detangled prior to washing then combed my hair after washing when styling. I would always wonder why I have so many tangles.i just attributed it to having high porosity, 4c hair. It only recently dawned on me that it’s bc I’m not properly detangling. I used a detangling brush on my hair last weekend and so much shed hair came out! But my hair is less tangled and I’m also seeing less breakage! But the brush seemed a bit harsh on my hair. I used the Felicia leatherwood brush. I like this idea of using a comb first so I will try that. I also bought the ez detangled brush to compare. Thanks for posting this and emphasizing the importance of thorough detangling.

you're welcome. Detangling is important for our hair since the shedded hair is trapped

Thanks for this video. I took my braids out a few days ago and will try this method as it is so tangled now.
Your brush seems sturdy though. I had a similar one and it was terrible!

I wish I knew this sooner, anytime I ever get into the shower and I try to detangle my hair I always end up clogging the drain and it doesn't really get detangled. My mom would always tell me to be more gentle when I go through my hair because she thinks all the hair coming from the comb is hair being pulled from my scalp, when it's probably just all of that shedding

Did you know tap water damages your hair because its full of chemicals Try to opt for a shower filter and sink filters it makes a big difference like my shower has vitamin C in it and my sink is just a regular filter helps alot
