So I would just like to say that the response to this cover has for me been almost overwhelming in a way. I know for a big youtuber it's practically nothing and isn't much of a response at all, but for a small guy like me it's quite a lot. I really mostly consider myself a "local" musician, I get much more attention in town and the neighboring towns and from performing at various places, and I really upload to youtube as an afterthought most of the time just because they usually don't get much attention on here. Maybe I should change that. I recorded this at a very difficult time in my life when I was sortof at a crossroads and struggling personally. The song really spoke to me at that time, partly because of where it plays in the game and partly just because of the song itself. So I recorded it because I felt it but I did sortof rush the mixing and mastering of it, but I kept everything. As a thank you to all, I have completed a much better mixed and mastered version of it, the google drive link is in the description. Don't worry it's the exact same thing musically, it's all the same takes and recordings and stems, just with a more polished mix and better master. Enjoy. And I hope at least a fraction of this enthusiasm continues for my next uploads. :)
This song, to me, has always represented Zero standing up one more time, tenderly remembering what he fought for in the first place, and resolving to strive and battle for what he believes in until the end. And you, sir, have nailed that feeling. Have a sub, a like, and an excellent day.
This brought back memories. I still have my Zero 2 cartridge from 2005 and replayed like like crazy. I also just picked up the Switch collection with Zero 1-4, ZX- Advent.

This is not yet. It will be on bandcamp (which will stream from your web browser or the app even with the window closed unlike UA-cam) once I finish the album it was recorded for. (I typically upload to there an album at a time) But once the album I recorded this for is complete it will be there. Although maybe I should upload singles there? However I have considered reviving my old SoundCloud page, since it's a bit more popular now than it had been in a few years. Should I do that? Opinions? Lol I stopped using SoundCloud a long time ago because nobody was using it but now all the sudden everybody is again so maybe I should get back on there. Also there is an mp3 available in the description.
