They are both great guns , but it's little like apples and oranges. Are being pretty much all steel and GP polymer. Really boils down what you want it for. Can't go wrong either way.
This may not be the best place to ask but...I had seen a video about GP striker fired trigger modification from 'reloading from the hot pot' and he mentioned getting help from you. It was to flip the trigger pin. I am wondering what exactly that does and how? Also, with the p11, do you know of any modifications to improve the trigger on the p11? Mostly I'm wondering about reducing the pull weight of the DA pull. Thanks
@user-vx6xv7ud9k of you search on my channel there's a video on striker fired version upgrade . As far as DA trigger weight ,I'd start with swaping trigger springs with Xcaliber ones
@@BaldcuriousThanks for the reply. I should have searched your videos before I asked. I did watch your videos about it after I posted the question. As far as getting springs...is there somewhere you recommend for getting those springs?
The barrel should be interchangeable, longer barrel to shorter slide. Longer slide to shorter frame you would have to see if the recoil spring will not be interfered with.
Militant that is a tuff one. Grand powers are softer shooting and more accurate due to it's rotating barrel design but same same reason they will probably be less reliable when exposed to sand and mud . Just my opinion.
Oh, ok! Makes sense. I'm left handed and I've been carrying HK's for years but I'm really looking forward to adding both the Grand Powers and Walthers to my stable of "lefty-friendly" hand guns. Thanks for the info!
+Bald&curious I have re-thought my view on the 9x18 round. After seeing seeing numerous penetration test versus the 9x19, it nearly is the same. You have a slight less depth which is a plus, in case of innocent bystanders and nearly the same expansion.
Been waiting since september. First I was told by Eagle Imports that it's in , now they are telling me it'll be in by February . Keeping my fingers crossed
One pistol I wish someone would produce in the US is the KBP Tula Gsh-18 and PP-2000. Ever thought about getting a B&T TP9, rotary barrel carbine/pistol.
That looked like a labor of love, doing a torture test with water in the cold. Hats off to you, and nice test!
Should check out the one with CZP07
I will, probably tonight or tomorrow.
WOW! I think the P11 will be my carry gun as well. Well done B&C.
It is a great gun , but right now I'm in love with Sig P365 as my EDC
Appreciate review. I was trying to decide between Grand Power and an Arex.

Thank you Mr bald..like cz75pcr.then I saw this..what's your opinion...or another hamer D/S.thanks again
This one is little bigger and lighter then PCR , it's more of a P07 size . There's no that many choices in this size sorry sa/da

Great Torture Test Brother!
Still own this? Was thinking about getting a gp. How's the reliability and support?
Gave away p11 to help raise money ,but still have 3 other GPs. They do have a braking period ,but after that they pretty reliable.
Hey @Bald&curious. I just recently picked up the P11 Mk12 for my new conceal carry piece. I can't wait to shoot it man. How is it?
you gonna like it
In your opinion how are the Grand Powers in comparison to the HK's?

I've both, 4 GP and also the VP9...
VP9 don't reach the GP shootability.
Will the X-calibur slide fit on it? Pakistan IDPA posted the torture test they did on the full auto variant.
Haven't try yet.
They should offer the 9x18 variant as a limited run here in the US.
Why ? That caliber is obsolete

TwoFeatherChannel 9x18 aka .380 basically, is a garbage round. Less penetration isn't good.
Will you be getting their striker fired pistol?

I like that the GSh-18 is made of 17 parts.
extraction pattern looks straight back
It's at about 5 o'clock.
2nd!
Great rev, poop ass gun.
