Hi Paul , I’ve just bought a h30 lite mk2 and had my first day fishing with it at Alcott farm , it seems like I’m gonna have a comfortable time on the bank , just enough storage for me , keeps the weight down , like you I’ve got back problems also , love watching your vids , keep up the good work, Darrell
Great video Paul. I've got the MK1 with a Koala back rest on mine it's well comfy. Just wondering where you can get the longer legs on your MK2. Cheers.
Thinking of getting on of these but concerned about leg slip. I am about 6ft but around 18 stone, my Maver box 30mm legs but they slip making me uncomfortable using it any advice on weight capacity of these boxes? Thanks in advance
It’s difficult to say, I think the locking mechanisms are very secure. I guess the weight aspect of the h30 is appealing to you over a framed box (like a Z30 or Z36). Perhaps put a post on a forum (like Maggotdrowning.com, free to join) to see if anyone your size has a MAP H frame box.
Hi Paul sorry to be a pain ,I have bought the 36 version of this after watching your video,as MAP aren’t the easiest to contact I was wondering if the 30 mm shallow tray fits the 36 mm as I’m thinking of getting a extra tray thanks again and sorry to be a pain Alan
Great review how tall are you just curious because I would like to know about longer legs on the box because of fittings tray ground bait bowl ECT also the new 36 mm leg box I take it has the latest seat also no need for spirit level just plonk your mobile on top of the seat with level app cheers Alan
🤣🤣oh dear ,what I’m after is someone of your height when you have it set up are the provided legs long enough for attachments or it a case of buying more legs which infuriates me as I see it as a way of extracting even more money from you cheers anyway for your reply 👍
I find the side trays too low with the standard (45cm) legs, so have the 2 longer ones, rest are fine. You could use a 36mm or 25mm leg extender in the provided screw top legs.
hi paul how long are your leg extenders please as ive just bought the 36mm seat box and i think having some would help me alot as i will need to raise the seat up as im 5,11 tall
My canal/travelling light box with frame, shallow side drawer, Seatbox uk Seat and 4 non extending legs weighs around 7.5kg. If you had the extending legs that come with the box that would add another 700g approximately. That’s with my shallow tray filled. Hope that answers your query.

I’m 6ft tall. I’m very clumsy and don’t like getting my phone out near the water!
