great build... regarding the figure 8 table top fasteners.... you must chamfer both sides of your recess where the device exits the stretcher so that the figure 8 will rotate and move with the stresses of the top.
I have to say it, Soooooo Satisfying work! would like to request if you can make a japanese style tatami bed, that would be awesome with your precision and craftsmanship! Cheers!

I'm sure manufacturing hierarchy of domino tools love them far more than anyone else...$2000AU for a tool that can only do one thing...and replaces dowels, that can be made and inserted for less than $100...dowels, that continue to be extremely effective in securing two pieces of wood. It continues to amaze me at how efective marketing is on some folks.
For goodness sake, DO NOT push the wood across the jointer head with your hands flat on the board! If it gets kicked back, your hand goes into the blades before you even know what happened. Push it but keep your hands either side of the head as you push.
@@xander1756 Because most people don't have a jointer, everyone has a tablesaw. In my college woodshop, the wall on the infeed end of the jointer was bashed in because of the kicked-back workpieces.
When he broke out the circular saw and sawhorses I thought finally something a beginner could follow. Then he proceeded to to bust out the sawstop, planer, jointer, and domino.
Thank you for your feedback! I understand your point about making projects more beginner-friendly. While I sometimes use advanced tools for efficiency, many of the techniques in my videos can be done with more basic tools as well. I’ll keep this in mind and try to make future videos easier to follow for beginners. I truly appreciate your perspective and hope you continue to enjoy the content!
@@saiiiiiii1 I think there is a risk the top may split. Those metal “8” clips should be more free to allow that the top will expand and contract across wise more than the frame.
I would argue both sides of this argument. I think the side aprons clips should have been installed at 45° to allow them to "swing" with the movement. On thr other hand, if you look closely the screws are smaller then the clips opening which would allow for a good deal of movement.
Thank you for your concern! Safety is always a priority, and I appreciate your reminder. I’ll make sure to highlight the use of safety tools in future projects. 😊

Jointers are nortorious for kickback?
@@xander1756 Yes.
@@brettbuck7362 A see many YT videos about tablesaw kickback, but none yet about jointers.
@@brettbuck7362 I've seen several videos talking about tablesaw kickback, not one about jointer ones.

First time viewer! Great job on the table! White oak is one of my favorite woods to build with. I look forward to next build!
Why did you elect to use the hand planer first and then use the jointer after?
Spectacular!
Very clean, very nice work!
Beautiful work as always sir 🫰🏼

Wow nice
Very nice work😀
Nice grain of the tabletop 👍

Beautiful table top but why keep the leg with all the flecking?
Kullandığınız ağaç nedir güzel ağaçmış
Won't this be a problem that the tabletop has no way to expand and shrink against the underconstruction?

No it will be fine like it is
Nice work. This connection method is common and will not lead to splitting.
Needs a bread board
You will see why in a year

Just lost a funger watching you use the jointer 😅
👍
You have to put beams on the legs of the table or it will wobble and will be damaged quickly.....
With all that equipment its an easy task. Nice measuring square from woodgraphics, seems helpful but not 90 dollar helpful imo.
