If that L6 is light my SP-70 (similar tube length) - you can use two 21700's in there instead of the 26650's. 40T's and 42a's and 45b's will fit and make contact. You might get more lumens!

I have a KDlitker C21 with SST70, the tint is a horrid pea soup green. And also the light was advertised at 3000 lumens, and I guess to believe it is lucky to produce even a thousand lumens. That light is a huge disappointment to me. I have the C21 with XHP 70.2, one with 5000K, and 6500K, and I am pleased with those versions. I believe they are close to their specs. Good video, looks like the light does pretty well. I am not a fan of the SST 70 much so far with my experience, maybe if the SST 70 is driven with more, perhaps it might get whiter. Don't believe I will purchase anymore SST 70 though due to the tint being awful.
What AR coating is on your light @jack anapes? If the coating is purple, it will make the beam greener. If that is the case you may be able to get a green AR coated lense and it will take the green out of the tint
@@michaelbowman7398 The lens has a blue looking coating, I do have a few convoys with the purple, and green lens as well. I believe I don't even want to mess with that light anymore, might just use it as a beater light, give it away, or I don't believe it is worth much so I don't if it would sell for anything at all. It has been used only a few times and is in good condition right now, just really not sure what to do with it. Mediocre brightness, awful tint....uhhh.
@@jackanapes6676 gotcha. Then that is probably as good as that tint will get. I find myself being way more picky with tint the more lights I buy. Other than a pure light up a field light, I always grab my high cri, and 4-5k tint lights first

My favorite light I have currently is an S21A with Nichia 4500K 519, and that light seems to serve my needs well, the light is bright enough, useful enough to be a great all around light for me. I am going to try a 3500K 519 here soon and I believe that is as warm as I want to go. I agree, I am kinda getting away from the cold white lights as they seem to washout too much, I believe 5700K is as cool as I like, I have the big bright flooders as well and as I said if there is any moisture in the air at all they just backwash really bad. I am in the midwest, and the weather here is damp a lot of the time, so it seems that warmer, less bright serves my uses most of the time. If I had it to do over again, I would not have purchased the SST 70, only heard great things about it till I tried it and was disappointed. Thanks for your input and reply, good day sir.

I have been using Orbtronic batteries for several years now and went there looking for some better batteries for my Sofirn C8L. Unfortunately their 21700 battery is only a 10 amp which according to the guy I spoke of earlier isn't powerful enough. I'm still a beginner as far as batteries go so I'm unsure about what to get to improve the performance of my lights. I replaced the batteries of my new lights with Orbtronics and didn't notice a big difference in performance if any. I've been watching a lot of your videos and see that often times you get a big improvement by using different batteries. Which I think many of us would like to achieve as well but we don't know what to buy or where to buy it. I tried to find some of the same batteries you uded but they were out of stock. I've only dealt with Orbtronic but they are out of stock on the popular known batteries. I'm looking for some trustworthy vendor recommendations. Any help with this will be appreciated.😊
