    Couple of small points...
Memory mode is ALSO configurable in the programming menu - if you want the light to always start on low mode (or high if you've selected that menu option), you can turn the memory off.
Simon (the owner of Convoy) now has his own, proprietary, website so you're not required to operate within the Ali Express ecosystem.
Convoy makes excellent, inexpensive lights that have the added benefit of not diving ALL the way into the flashlight enthusiast world of ultra-premium materials or high-customization UI's like Anduril 2 or highly specialized emitter tech like laser excited phosphor (LEP) stuff... But you can definitely try out a wealth of flashlight designs if you're interested.
Great video and excellent presentation to get the word out to a wide audience!

I've been carrying a flashlight on me daily for over 5 years. Loved flashlights since I was kid.
I have many. Some are older collector items, while others are brand new expensive LEP's.
I joined a couple Facebook groups for flashlight enthusiasts and immediately started seeing the Convoy brand mentioned.
Ive got my eyes on at least 10 different models of Convoy lights now...
Thank you for the informative video.

@Barry-Watson Yes, I own 12 Convoy flashlights! The best price to performance brand out there! The M21B with an XPH 70.3 HI 5000K emitter is the absolute bomb. If I could have only one flashlight, it would be it! If you decide to purchase one, let me know how you like it.

I really like Convoy. Great quality, many options and all for small prices. It's a brand by an enthusiast for enthusiasts. My EDC is a S2+ with a short tube for 18350 batteries and a SST-20 emitter. I also have a C8+ thrower with the newish W5050SQ3 that can easily pass 200 metres.

I grabbed the stonewashed Ti on Ali Express and it's the coolest light I've ever seen and feels firearm-like solid. To make it perfect, though, it needs a USB-c charge port added to the switch cap. Did what is worth, my order arrived in 6 days and i live in San Francisco. The D4 charger can't be beat

@@Barry-Watson Barry, what is the advantage of a 3.7 or 4.2 volt battery? Can you post a link for either you would recommend? Thanks!! :) love your channel !

A 14,500 cell has more energy capacity than an AA battery. If the flashlight detects you're using a 14,500, it will regulate at a somewhat higher brightness level. If you set the same level of brightness with a 14,500 battery versus an AA you'll get significantly longer run time with the 14,500 cell. The light works fine with either type of battery, but I use the 14,500s because I get longer run time.
I'm using VAPcell F12 batteries, the gold colored ones. Seems to work well for me, but I don't think this brand is available on Amazon.

You'll also need a compatible battery charger for those cells, I'm using a nightcore D4. amzn.to/4f2TraN

Barry, thanks for the vid. I was asking myself the same question, what's the big draw on Convoy lights? I don't believe the CONVOYS come with batteries, or chargers, which is an investments, so that increases the price, and the 20 step UI. Why? I guess I'm missing something🤔

Some of the convoy lights are sold with batteries as an option. Value is a personal decision, I think they offer high quality product at a price point lower than most of their competition. As with most any product, you have to determine what's most important to you in terms of features, quality, and price.

Olight does NOT make good stuff. Especially at the price point.
